I love a good monochrome outfit, but if you search on Pinterest, so many of the examples are inaccessible and in loud, perfectly matching colors that so many of us don't own. Hey again girl! 😍 I am totally on board with the monochrome look. I am currently trying to add some brown pieces into my capsule wardrobe (like a very rich chocolate brown). My style is really inspired by Lydia Tomlinson (on youtube). I have very pale skin with brown curly hair and brownish golden eyes. So even though i love wearing black, it can sometimes be harsh on me. Trying out chocolate brown in place of that (my vision for a monochromatic outfit is a chunky brown turtleneck, brown slouchy trousers with a black belt, a brown big bag and loafers or white sneakers 😁
Yes! I've seen some of Lydia Thompson's videos! I really like the idea of a chocolate brown in place of black. I think that is such a lovely take on a very versatile neutral! And brown can have cool or warm undertones, so you can always cater to your personal preferences! And I'm totally digging this outfit you've described 😍. Sounds like a winner to me!

I wore monochrome black outfits in a middle school, in my "rebel" phase, all the time. I still like it but I don't wear it that often - now I'm mixing black t-shirts with dark wash jeans mainly. But now I really wonder if I can find a monochrome outfits in my closet that wouldn't be black!

@@LaurenWMcKinney I found some navy outfits (some with no jeans even!), some gray, maybe emerald green (with a little bit of navy) and light blue and lilac (those two from from my summer capsule)! And I see a lot of potential for white and beige monochrome but I don't have bottoms in those colors because I'm scared of getting them dirty! 🙈
