Refreshing to see a to the point video going at it from start. There are too many videos out there with a lot of waffling and hot air. Good work on the video and the car👍
The differential is a G80 locker original to some 740s and 940s. Also, both the 740 and 940 come with live rear axles and the multilink independent suspension
I really appreciate your style, your way of talking, the cars you work on and the editing. This is one of my facoureite channels!👌 Hopefully we'll see this channel grow, you deserve it as much as those with a couple of hundred thousands of subscribers! Curious if you never get metal shards or similar in your feet walking around bare foot in the shop?🤔 With love from Sweden!👍
It is amazing to see how you guys in america just weld something from an old bumper or shock absorber into a control arm to repair or even improve it. In germany, if the car inspector sees that, he would instantly remove the license plate so you can no longe drive the car in traffic because it is a dangerous and illegal modification. Best gegards from germany!
very nice video. oh boy that car is rusty. reminds me of my -99 nissan almera with 421tkm on it. it had 1/5 stars in crash test when it was new, so it was as safe as a wet cardboardbox. i always enjoy your goofing around at the end of the video. also, very good content all around :)
Nice work overall. Enjoyed the video format. Definitely inspired me to get moving on my 740 wagon, I'm very thankful mine is a southern car, but it would look better with bed liner over factory tar lol
Awesome viode! I have all this still to do on my 940 D24tic😂 i plan to do full rebuild of the motor and rust repair, basecly in need to do same as you and more😂
They certainly are, that car just had too many paperwork issues for it to be worth it :/ it will live on through the two wagons I'm working on (and a secret future project)

Glad you enjoyed it!
This is great content. Just the right balance of explanation and sped up work. Carry on, I think you are headed in the correct direction.
Barefoot welding and grinding that is a new one for me. Either way this video really made a good guide to change my rear axle! Thumbs up.

Yup! Finally found injectors, so I'll be putting it back together in a month or so.
760, 960, v90, s90 got the multi-link. All othere stand "peasant" models of 740 and 940 had the live axle.
Great content as usual.
