Bloggers need to avoid general topics that have high-quality content. If you want to get success then jump with new topics or with outdated information. Readers also don't trust theory - they wanna read stories. If you don't have your own story then provide others that you know. For example, for my Russian and Ukrainian blog I wrote the blog post about Instagram promotion with a lot of examples of big brands. Without any external backlinks this article ranks on the top-3 and brings a lot of traffic.

Most people won't read more than a tweet. I use Blogger and used to get maybe a few hundred hits a day - now 4-5! I never tried to commercialize it. Almost ready to give up. I just enjoy writing. tip#1 i'm seeing a big gap between choose a niche and (@1:55) "...after you've dominated that niche audience." If we could all find high search volume, low difficulty keywords to create content around this wouldn't be difficult. tip#2 creating content worth referencing obvs should generate links, but you've got to be already ranking for people to even see your content... see tip#1 tip#3 making your post easy to read... well duh. ok, i'll give you this one. except that not all content should be written in a conversational tone. what if i have a blog about PTSD and moral injury? just sayin. i'm tired now.
