So thankful for your post! I’m finally taking the leap to incubating eggs and bought this exact incubator. I wasn’t 100% on where to add the water so thank you for covering that. I also love to see your excitement over chicken genetics and chickens in general. So very relatable ❤
I have one of these and a full-size unit. IT is great for hatching small batches of specific eggs. I.E. I am using it to hatch Bresse chicks. We keep it on the kitchen counter next to the sink for the first 18 days so that we always have eyes on the water level. The next 3 days are in a side room so that our cats wont break in and eat the chicks.
Thank you for your time and efforts, but I would like to correct you so that chicken lovers who watch this video will not be misled: 1) you will need to keep the incubator’s vent at least 1/3 open for the first 18 days and fully open for the last three days. It says in the manual. 2) when you store your eggs, you always keep the bigger ends up. 3)do not candle more than two times during the incubation period, overcandling will damage the embryos. 4) when you wash the eggs, do not soak them in water, especially in cold water, otherwise bacteria will get into the eggs. Always use lukewarm running water to wash eggs for food or incubation. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps.
Hello! I’m a teacher and will be incubating eggs tomorrow at school. I wanted to wash them off at home so that I could use lukewarm water, but didn’t know if I needed to incubate right after washing or if incubating the day after washing would be fine. Are you able to help with this? Thanks!

First time hatching. I used this same incubator and added 14 eggs after watching your video. I candled on day 9 and one egg wasn’t fertilized so I tossed it. Went into lockdown with 13. Just hatched today with a 100% hatch rate!! It was a little crowded and with the humidity spiking I carefully lifted one side to remove egg shells making sure humidity didn’t dip below 67%. I also slowly removed 9 chicks that hatched earlier this morning same way I removed shells. 4 chicks drying in incubator still. Thanks for a great video!
Checked out your video cause I was looking to see if I could notice which way the fan was installed (sticker side showing or not), but I ended up watching it because of your excitement and was curious about what you set your humidity at. Marans do lay beautifully colored eggs!
I had one of the big fancy box ones. I didn’t need that big and where I had it the temperature fluctuated so I have it away. I have what you have and love mine.
Congrats on the new incubator. Love those pretty colors of eggs! You do such a great job of explaining the setup, and I like how you share your knowledge of the variety of chickens as well as how to check for viability. I am not ready yet to incubate eggs, but I do want to get 3-4 chicks to raise. I will be saving this video for when I get to a point to incubate eggs. I learned something new today, thanks to you. Your videos are getting better and better, as is your editing. I like the snapping your finger then showing the 2nd incubator bit, creative & eye catching. Did you make a how-to edit video yet? I watched your freezing temp prep. We were a little warmer here in Florida(26°), but it still froze. Glad your animals made it through the coldest temps.

You are such a pleasant lady! Thanks for the info, I am incubating Button Quails for my kids for the first time and this video helped me understand how to operate this devise.
Hi! LOVE your channel (just found it, binge watched a lot, lol!). It's day 21 with our kebonnixs, my husband read in the manual to fully open the vent on the last 3 days so that if they hatch, they have air & don't suffocate... but our humidity dropped and has been at 46% for the last several days. After watching your video I closed the vent most of the way to try to bring our humidity back up. Also I read not to open the incubator until all chicks hatched, to prevent shrink wrapping. I know you mentioned your climate is naturally humid. Any recommendations for other climates and when to move chicks to the brooder? Thanks! :)
Hi Abby, I’m so glad you’re here!! If your humidity is dangerously low during lockdown, I have seen better results by keeping the vent closed. As soon as it reaches 60 I open the vent halfway so they don’t struggle from lack of ventilation. Most hatchers will keep all of them in the incubator until they’re all hatched and fluffy. They can stay in there for up to 12 hours!
Great video thank you for such a step by step guide. I've been Interested in getting an Incubator for some time and have been having trouble picking one. Where did you happen to purchase this incubator from?
How do you raise the humidity at day 18? Or does the machine do it automatically? What if there are a few that didn't hatch? Is there a way to manually raise the humidity to 70% while keeping the vent open?
Hi Misty! The machine won’t set the humidity for you, unfortunately 😓 I close the back vent all the way and pour as much water as I can into the external port. Sometimes I have to pour and wait a second for it to travel into the internal reservoir and then pour a bit more a little at a time. I’ve never been able to keep hungry high while the vent is open, but perhaps if you had a very humid room it would work.
Hello I am back so far out of 12 eggs 1 was infertile the rest were,we lost one so down to 10 eggs they are all healthy and in 3 days they hatch can't wait 😅
Hi I just bought this incubator. Thank you for the explanation, because I did put it correctly together. My question is the humidity level it staying in 46%. What can do ? My other question is I bought the eggs on farms market, do I have any chance that I am going to have any bird? I am hatching eggs for first time. I loved your video. ❤
I just got this incubator. Our family ordered a dozen eggs, but seller states that he always includes an extra or two. I don't want any extras going to waste, so I contemplated doing as you *wink wink*. My question is...how well does the turner do its job when extras are added? Do you have a strategy for how to place the extras? Thank you.
I’ve never seen the turner struggle with the extra bulk, but if they’re jumbo eggs they may block the lid from closing correctly. If the pointy side of the eggs are all facing inward towards the center, the extra eggs on top will often rotate as well, but sometimes they don’t and I hand turn them a few times a day. I still have good hatch rates when I do this 😁
Question, please! How did you place the extra eggs in the incubator in such a way that they rolled and didn't prevent the other eggs from rolling as they are supposed to?
Thank you so much for this detailed video!! (I am so hoping this model machine will give me better luck than the other I tried) Happy hatching to you :)
My hen left several eggs unhatched. I bought this incubator bec I was suspecting it was going to happen. It arrived just on time. I set it up. I candled thrm, but noticed that like 3 are like almost there to hatch (didnt see movement though) and the others are still developing. Do you suggest to take out the totating part? What temp, and humidity should I adjust to? It was so cute to see many moving inside. Please help😢 Just found your channel ❤
Thank you for making this video! It was so helpful. Just bought one for my wife so she can hatch quail eggs. Have you had any experience hatching quail eggs in this incubator?
It’s a good question. Luckily I don’t live in a super dry area, and I don’t have to worry about shrink wrap happening during lockdown. I watch carefully for pipping and the first cracks and then rearrange accordingly. I will admit it’s more nerve wracking to add more. If I know I will not be home during the hatch I don’t crowd it.
@@ammarshabani230I have this same incubator & used it for duck eggs with great success! Set it for 28 days for ducks, otherwise it’s the same for everything else.
I appreciate so much you taking the time to explain how to use the incubator.... however my incuabtor is different brand and doesnt show me same numbers as your does ... my says 37.8 why? thank you
Great video. thanks. Mine may hatch on a day that I’m not home. If they hatch in the early morning (around 6am), will they be fine until I can get home around 5pm? Thanks!
Very large chicken hatchery do this, and it works very well! The only thing I would recommend is that you don’t have the water well exposed or the chicks could drown in it. I’m not sure what kind of incubator you’ve got.
Large hatchery are able to leave their chicks in for several hours! I imagine you’ll be fine, as long as they can’t drown in the water well that your incubator may have for humidity
Thanks so much for this video! You did a great job. I am trying to incubate 3 duck eggs that a mama abandoned. I have an older incubator that I've been using but I couldn't keep the temp adjusted. I purchased this one and I'm setting it up now. My question is, if duck eggs take longer to hatch, is there any way to manually set the days longer to it will keep turning? Thanks!
Hi! I really hope it goes well for you. To customize the days, simply hold down the a menu button down for about 3 seconds until it beeps and starts to flash; after it flashes hit Menu again and the number of days will begin to flash. Press + until you reach the desired number of days.
Hi! What would you recommend if I set the incubator to 21 days although they are serama eggs and take only 19-20 days in order for it to stop rotating before day 18 what can I do now? Take the rotating tray out of the incubator? Or can I press something.
I’ve been trying to look up this information but I haven’t been able to mail this one down 🤔 I would personally remove the tray until we can find the information!
I just completed my first hatch and fyi I lost 2 chicks when they were able to get into the water and drowned. I think I’ll remove them sooner next time
I was wondering if you can change the hatch days for like seramas? tThey hatch a little sooner mine hatched on day 19 so I am hoping the days can be adjusted on the incubators settings.
We are new to hatching and have this incubator. Is it OK if the humidity is 47-48. I did close the vent 3/4 of the way because is was stsying around 30%. We live in Wisconsin. Will thus be ok?
I don’t know how hard it would be to add a picture of the type of chicken in editing. But that would be nice for people like me that don’t know a lot about different breeds of chickens.
That’s a great idea!!! Unfortunately I would have to take the photos myself or get permission to use photos so I don’t get slapped with a copyright violation. There’s really serious fines for using photos without permission. One blogger was hit with a fine so hard he went bankrupt 😓
Hi do you know if this incubator can be used for Chinese painted quail aka button quail? as the eggs are quite a bit smaller than you average chicken egg. just i like the model but unsure if it's recommended for button quail. Thanks Jon.
I’ve never tried it, but I have seen others that have! If the temperature is the same as chickens it should be fine! You’ll need a bigger egg turner tray from Etsy though
Ashley I just learned how to change the preset number of days, just in case you need to know. Duck eggs take a little longer Hold the a menu button down for about 3 seconds until it beeps and starts to flash; after it flashes hit Menu again and the number of days will begin to flash. Press + until you reach the desired number of days.
Excellent video...I have a question. I just bought the same exact incubator and I'm going to do button quail but they hatch earlier, so how do I set it for 16 days, including the 3 days lockdown?
@cabincreekhomestead761 - Thank you. The breader just wrote me back and told me that most of them hatch at 17-18 days so I'm thinking probably going to have to set it to 18? Is that the case for yours?
Hi! It's me again, I was wondering (if you know) how often does Kebonnixs turns it eggs. I tested mine yesterday ( I just received it )and it did turn, however since I put my eggs in today I have yet to see it turn. They have been in the incubator for 3.5 hours. Maybe I'm just anxious 🤔 for my chicks? Thank you 😊
@@cabincreekhomestead761 I incubated twelve eggs. Ten hatched and all ten are thriving. Best hatch ever and first with this incubator. You saved me a ton of mistakes.
I lost my paper instructions to this incubator and see that you said the instructions are available online but I haven’t been able to find them. Do you have a link or anyway that you can share them?
I just got same incubator and can’t get humidity up to 50%. It’s staying around 45%. I’ve closed slide control on back and have eggs ready to go in. HELP??? Thanks
This happened to me once. Put it in your bathroom and crank on a hot shower. If it still won’t budge up, try getting an additional hygrometer to put inside. It could be that the humidity meter is broken. If that’s the case they’ll replace your machine. Best of luck- keep me posted on what works 😓
Cut a little piece if sponge and put it in the water, make sure it sticks out if the water a bit and it will help add to the surface area if the water and raise the humidity
That’s a good question Joshua. I tried leaving mine open the last three days and I just couldn’t get the humidity high enough. I decided to break the rules and close it to keep the humidity correct. When a chick emerges the vent gets fully opened or the humidity climbs above 80%.
This is what I found online…. I hope it makes sense to you. I don’t speak “voltage” 🙈😬 12V 4A Power Supply - COOLM AC 100-240V 50/60Hz to DC 12 Volt 4 amp 4Amp 48W Power Converter Charger 12V4A + 5.5x2.1mm
@@cabincreekhomestead761 I understood everything and thank you very much, but I have one question left, how to set the incubator indicators for quail eggs
@@giokandelakishvili1996 I don’t know how to manually override the settings, but they need the same temperature so you don’t need to adjust the heat setting!! the humidity for quail is about the same, which you can manipulate manually. Etsy has quail egg turner trays to fit the smaller eggs! They’re about $25. The only thing you’d want to change if you can figure out how to make the tray keep turning after day 15. Hellohomestead.com has a great article on quail eggs!!
I’ve added an extract temperature gauge and hydrometer and it was pretty darn accurate, so I didn’t keep it in. Months later I had one verrrrry late hatch and the e temperature was pretty low. I manually adjusted the temperature next to round and everything was fine.
@@cabincreekhomestead761 opening the incubator doesn’t interfere with development? Asking because I may have loaded mine with a few extra as well. Lol. I’ve been hand turning them too a few times per day but I get so nervous opening up the incubator.
@@bfeurtado12 it’s never effected the development ! We lost power during the ice storm and they had no heat or anything for 7 hours. All 13 still made it!! I was soooo impressed.
Hey! I love your video - it was soooo helpful! Quick question. Am I able to change the hatching days? I have a hen that was broody - but just stopped and have eggs that are a week old . Is it possible to change the hatch countdown from 21 to 14?
So sorry for the late response 🙈 Yes! Press and hold “menu ok” and wait til it beeps and begins flashing. You can press once to adjust the temperature and press again to adjust the days. Press + or - to move the days up or down
Hello, Petrena! If you press and hold the Menu button for 3 seconds it will 🔈beep 🔈 (so loud 🤣) and the temperature display will begin blinking. Press Menu again and d - 21 will appear and blink. Hit - until the count of days goes all the way to zero and the turner will not turn!
Would this be ideal for parakeet eggs? I have a parakeet that decided to start laying eggs but she is also destroying them unfortunately. And no I'm not touching them or anything and no idea why she is doing it. I've had the pair for 2 years and this is their first clutch. I just want to save the babies. Lol
I don’t have too much experience with parakeets, but I have seen instances of animals that don’t care for their young either because 1) they lack maternal instinct (and then I never breed that animals again) or 2)because they know something is wrong and don’t “mother” a damaged baby/ egg. She may “know” that those babies are not viable 🤷🏼♀️ I think the incubator would work really well for parakeets, just keep in mind the incubation time is a few days difference and you’d need to remove the turn table before hatching. The humidity should be higher for parakeets too, I believe.
Hello I am curious on the instructions it says to let the incubator run for 4 to 5 hours with water inside is that true or do I wait for it to reach exact temperature and humidity? And is it actually safe to wash eggs with water as it would affect it.
I’ve done both. The very first time I used it I ran it for hours and hours and tested it thoroughly. Now that I’m confident with how fast it heats up and I’ve seen the eggs do well with humidity that hovers between 30% and 50% for the first 17 days I’m not as careful or stressed about it and I’ll plop them in the machine right after I turn it on. I recommend using a separate thermometer and hygrometer to see if your machines reading are accurate, I’ve heard they can be unreliable
I’ve had washed and unwashed eggs hatch with equal success. When covered in poo I get really nervous about the incubator giving that poo a Petri dish environment to grow all kinds of bacteria 🥴
@@cabincreekhomestead761 Perfect I will see whats left at work I will try the hydrometer and liquid thermometer. Would it be ok if I go ahead and run it and just try it afterwards wjen I purchase it? Just want to make sure the eggs are ok amd where would I put the liquid thermometer?
Interested enough, I just watched a chick mom document her double yolk incubation and they both hatched and survived! I never thought it was possible. But it was a huge egg 😄
I just bought one myself. I have a question. How is the temperature so stable? My other incubator Flautuated a degree or 2. Ehile turning on and off. 99.99. 107.45 after tax
This incubator is plastic and not styrofoam, plus it’s small. The sensor is in the middle so it accurately reads the temperature and can regulate it well. Thanks for watching! 😊
That’s interesting, it sounds like it might be a glitch in the wiring! Unfortunately, I am not schooled in this area at all, I’m sorry I can’t be more help
My ducks are due to hatch in 3 days. The air sack isn't centered. It's lop sided. Like it's not level. So far. All 8 are alive. I've never hatched ducks before so I'm nervous. I've hatched chickens many times with no issues.
Oh my goodness! I don’t have any experience, hatching, ducks, or dealing with saddle, air sales, so I don’t have any good advice for you. Just praying that it’s a wonderful hatch! Keep me updated!
Ok confused. I'm the instruction book it says to OPEN the humidity valve all the way up for the last 3 days. How does opening it increase the humidity. Is that not backwards? You say close it? Which one is it
I was so confused as well. They want the vent open so that there’s really good air circulation, but in some environments it’s really hard to keep it open and also keep the humidity way up. What I have discovered is keeping it in a small bathroom is the best way to keep that vent open but also keep the humidity up because you can just rely on hot showers to increase the humidity
This step alone makes me NOT like this one. Like if you open it that's gonna lower the humidity. I just keep the unit in my mancave. Guess I'm just gonna close it about 3/4 the way and see what happens . Guess I need to get one that controls the humidity on its own
I have an Ameraucana rooster and a handful of different types of hens. I decided to hatch some of their eggs. I don't mind having mutts. I call them my little abomination feathered dinosaur!
That’s an excellent question. I’ve seen people do it, but every time I’ve added eggs on subsequent days I’ve seen poor hatch rates. I suspect I’m doing something wrong, I don’t know how others are doing it. My problem is that the main batch will hatch on day 21, and they all went on lockdown at day 19. If the eggs need to be turned until day 19 I’d have to open the lid to hand- turn the late added eggs… but I don’t open the lid because it messes with the humidity too drastically in that time period. So I give up 🤷🏼♀️
I hatched a grocery store egg very easy I played a roosters sound to make the egg fertilized then I put in the incubator I DONT know what to name the chicken pls give me ideas😊
Press and hold the menu/OK button, along with the + button, and it will reset the days to 21. it just turns on as soon as you plug it in! But you wanna make sure it gets the days right because of the automatic Turner stopping on day 18
Quail are sooo cute! Hold the menu button down for about 3 seconds until it beeps and starts to flash; after it flashes hit Menu again and the number of days will begin to flash. Press + until you reach the desired number of days.

Hi Kelly! I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed it!!
I bought this off Amazon. 😁
I hope you have many happy hatching days 😍😍😍
How do you raise the humidity at day 18? Or does the machine do it automatically? What if there are a few that didn't hatch? Is there a way to manually raise the humidity to 70% while keeping the vent open?
Hi Misty!
The machine won’t set the humidity for you, unfortunately 😓
I close the back vent all the way and pour as much water as I can into the external port.
Keep me updated! I’m so excited for you!
My first time hatching eggs.i got a kebonnix incubator. Hatced 10 out of 12 .2 were not fertile. Great incubator

See if you can remove the water in the reservoir by so can get up with a cloth. Otherwise, you may need a dehumidifier.
I still have good hatch rates when I do this 😁
@@cabincreekhomestead761 Thank you!
Question, please! How did you place the extra eggs in the incubator in such a way that they rolled and didn't prevent the other eggs from rolling as they are supposed to?
Thank you so much for this detailed video!! (I am so hoping this model machine will give me better luck than the other I tried)
Happy hatching to you :)
I’m glad you enjoyed it!!!
Now don’t give me any new ideas 🤣😅
I haven’t tried it but obviously now I have to 😋
I know you stack them to optimize hatch, but what if more than 12 go into lockdown? How do they hatch stacked on each other? Just curious 😊
Hi
When I can stop turn table for duck eggs?
Thanks
@@ammarshabani230I have this same incubator & used it for duck eggs with great success! Set it for 28 days for ducks, otherwise it’s the same for everything else.
I appreciate so much you taking the time to explain how to use the incubator.... however my incuabtor is different brand and doesnt show me same numbers as your does ... my says 37.8 why? thank you
Your incubator sounds like it’s in Celsius. Also if Spanish is your first language oh my gosh your English is incredible!!
@@cabincreekhomestead761 Thanks. I have the same Kebonnix. They are due to hatch this Thursday. I’ll be sure to leave the water well covered!
This has been soooo helpful! Thank you so much! Btw, I love your heart ❤ you seem so sweet
This comment MADE MY DAY! I’m glad you think I’m delightful and not weird 🤭🤪
We are hatching for the first time in the Kebonnixs incubator. There are 8 and they are all hatching within hours of each other. Are they too crowded?
You’re Awesome
Well that’s just the sweetest 🥺🥰
Did you let your knew incubator run for a few hours before putting the eggs in? We just got ours 😅
I did mine for a day and tripled checked the egg turner . You made a good choice will be happy with this one.
@@cabincreekhomestead761 Thank you! Much appreciated.
Hi! What would you recommend if I set the incubator to 21 days although they are serama eggs and take only 19-20 days in order for it to stop rotating before day 18 what can I do now? Take the rotating tray out of the incubator? Or can I press something.
I’ve been trying to look up this information but I haven’t been able to mail this one down 🤔
I would personally remove the tray until we can find the information!
@@cabincreekhomestead761 no worries, thank you! I had thought the same I'll be removing it day 16 instead of it stopping automatically day 19 😊
I just completed my first hatch and fyi I lost 2 chicks when they were able to get into the water and drowned. I think I’ll remove them sooner next time
that's so sad! I keep the little gray plastic cover on my humidity cavity, not all incubators have one though
You’re in the ballpark and I’m sure you’ll be fine. I’ve had dips down to 30 and still have a good turn out!
love your video. thanks for sharing.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!!
what is the little black button on the water holder for?
I don’t know how hard it would be to add a picture of the type of chicken in editing. But that would be nice for people like me that don’t know a lot about different breeds of chickens.
That’s a great idea!!! Unfortunately I would have to take the photos myself or get permission to use photos so I don’t get slapped with a copyright violation. There’s really serious fines for using photos without permission. One blogger was hit with a fine so hard he went bankrupt 😓
Oh. That makes sense. You could have the kids draw a rendering. 😂
@@melissaemery8686 YES I LOVE THAT
What's the best way to know if your incubator temp and Humidty are accurate? What's an accurate hygrometer?
Hi do you know if this incubator can be used for Chinese painted quail aka button quail? as the eggs are quite a bit smaller than you average chicken egg. just i like the model but unsure if it's recommended for button quail. Thanks Jon.
Yes! And there are a few Etsy pages that 3D print smaller turning tables for these little types of eggs!
Hey there! Great video! Do you recommend this incubator for duck eggs? ☺️
I’ve never tried it, but I have seen others that have!
If the temperature is the same as chickens it should be fine! You’ll need a bigger egg turner tray from Etsy though
@@cabincreekhomestead761 thank you!
Ashley I just learned how to change the preset number of days, just in case you need to know. Duck eggs take a little longer
Hold the a menu button down for about 3 seconds until it beeps and starts to flash; after it flashes hit Menu again and the number of days will begin to flash. Press + until you reach the desired number of days.
Is it normal for it to be making that noise? I just got mine 3 days ago and just wanted to make sure that noise was normal lol 😆 thanks!!
Excellent video...I have a question. I just bought the same exact incubator and I'm going to do button quail but they hatch earlier, so how do I set it for 16 days, including the 3 days lockdown?
Yes! If you set it for 16 days, it will stop turning on day 14
@cabincreekhomestead761 - Thank you.
Thank you 😊
A watched incubator never turns 🤣🤣🤣
Although I’ve never timed it, I have noted hearing the motor turning it at least 4 times a day.
I mark my eggs with a x on one side, and o on other, then when i do quick check, i can know they've been turned.
@@cabincreekhomestead761 I noticed 😁 I might have been just a wee bit excited 😉
Thanks for this. Very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!😍
@@cabincreekhomestead761 I incubated twelve eggs. Ten hatched and all ten are thriving. Best hatch ever and first with this incubator. You saved me a ton of mistakes.
I lost my paper instructions to this incubator and see that you said the instructions are available online but I haven’t been able to find them. Do you have a link or anyway that you can share them?
I’ll do some digging!!!
I contacted the company and they sent me a pdf. I am not sure how to do it here to upload it for you.

The manual says to fully open the air vent during the last 3 days? You said the close it…which one?
That’s a good question Joshua. I tried leaving mine open the last three days and I just couldn’t get the humidity high enough. I decided to break the rules and close it to keep the humidity correct.
When a chick emerges the vent gets fully opened or the humidity climbs above 80%.
Hello, I wonder how many volts this unit runs on?
This is what I found online…. I hope it makes sense to you. I don’t speak “voltage” 🙈😬

Did you find the temp and humidity give accurate readings? Did you use additional temp/hygrometer to check?
I’ve added an extract temperature gauge and hydrometer and it was pretty darn accurate, so I didn’t keep it in. Months later I had one verrrrry late hatch and the e temperature was pretty low. I manually adjusted the temperature next to round and everything was fine.
@@cabincreekhomestead761 thank you.
How do you add extra eggs? Wouldn’t they not turn properly?
That’s a good question. I am able to work from home so I’m able to hand turn them 6-7 times a day. It works well 😜
@@cabincreekhomestead761 opening the incubator doesn’t interfere with development? Asking because I may have loaded mine with a few extra as well. Lol. I’ve been hand turning them too a few times per day but I get so nervous opening up the incubator.

Hey! I love your video - it was soooo helpful! Quick question. Am I able to change the hatching days? I have a hen that was broody - but just stopped and have eggs that are a week old . Is it possible to change the hatch countdown from 21 to 14?
So sorry for the late response 🙈
Yes! Press and hold “menu ok” and wait til it beeps and begins flashing. You can press once to adjust the temperature and press again to adjust the days. Press + or - to move the days up or down
What should the humidity be?
Hello, this is my first time using the Kebonix. Can you turn off the automatic Turner manually? Please let me know.

I keep mine out of direct sunlight but I don’t cover it.
She may “know” that those babies are not viable 🤷🏼♀️
I think the incubator would work really well for parakeets, just keep in mind the incubation time is a few days difference and you’d need to remove the turn table before hatching.
Also if I do put them in water do I let it self dry or dry it with towel?
After I wash them, I don’t dry them off. 😉 it just helps raise that humidity faster

Guess I need to get one that controls the humidity on its own
I support you. Let’s both get the cabinet incubators. We deserve it 😆🤣
@cabincreekhomestead761 i got this thing closed like 90% just to stay around 50% humidity. I don't know how the heck I'm gonna get up to 70% humidity

I decided to hatch some of their eggs.
I don't mind having mutts.
I call them my little abomination feathered dinosaur!
That’s hilarious I’m going to use that 🤣🤣🤣
Will this work for quail can I adjust the days to turn off the rotstion
Yes!
My biggest question is can you put eggs that is going to hatch in different days
