    I wish to be Empowered rather than working with such terrible bosses and hear them breathing at your back every seconds that's horrible to be employed.

    I didn't mind her deliberate slowness. And as a 5-year-old I failed to register the lesson about empowerment rather than employment ... and I am not alone in that failure. She spoke to me.

      You're right. This was over 17 minutes of talking, but nothing was said.

    If someone can write at which minute real talk starts because at 8th minute it still doesn't.

    Work for living? Work for spiritual satisfaction? The difference is a huge impact to your life.

    A talk full of clichéd quotes. "Encourage entrepreneurs", summary of the entire talk.

    If a person does a job he likes, he never works. That is the key to freedom from servitude.

    all this time of watching ted talks, i thought the right question we should be asking was "AM I HAPPY?"

    • @ami7mina
      @ami7mina 6 років тому

      Yes that is important to first know ourselves and serve ourselves before we can serve others. The satisfaction/happiness within will grow from inward to outward. Law of attraction.

    For those who think that the speaker speaks too slow, you can play the video at 2x speed and subtitles (just in case you miss something).

    Nice speech. Everythig is true, except she couldn't say that. She just changed her side from employed to empowered (from servant to entrepreneur) that uses employee. Come and talk again when you have a solution for everyone not just for you.

    • @DF-ww3fs
      @DF-ww3fs 4 роки тому +1

      The entrepreneur has thier own individual own thoughts they have formed on thier own behalf... when your a Servant you embody the ideas and the mindset of the person who employs you... The word entrepreneur points out one individual, being a servant you part of a bigger system that you have no control over whatsoever.

    If you mean by servant, providing a valuable service to someone, I don’t see the issue. Or serving a useful role or purpose for your peers. Service does not necessarily equal slavery. People receive compensation for valued services. And then they may or may not have some crossover with their natural gifts, interests, passions, etc.

    The privileged and the elite who live in a bubble can spout off about some future society that has somehow transcended capitalism with that cute little smile on her face she does not acknowledge the enormous suffering that is about to be inflicted on the people that are currently operating in an economic system that has them trapped in their jobs and that their jobs are about to be replaced by automation. The truth is that a good deal of the population is about to get dumped out of the economy and will be homeless, jobless, and without food or medicine. But nice little pretis like this one will still be jabbering on and on about how wonderful the future will be.
