i’m almost 13 and crocheting i really feel like an old lady 😃🤚🏼 edit; thank you guys for reassuring me, this was 2 years ago and now i really dont see it as something only "old ladies" can do. nobdoy should! do what makes you happy ❤️
I started crocheting at 13 too and am now 56 I love it, its relax And the joy I feel when I finish a project is amazing. Hope you will enjoy it as much as i do .🤗🇦🇺
Thanks so very much for this video. I’ve made 2 hearts so quickly thanks to your perfect instructions. Appreciate you sharing your time talent & expertise!
I’ve been crocheting for nearly 60 years and this is by far the best and simplest tutorial for a heart. There are some hearts that are beautiful but the instructions are difficult to understand and follow, then there are those that are easy to follow but barely look like a heart when finished...yours are definitely the best instructions. Thank you!
Hello Creative Grandma, I love the heart tutorial. I’ve made several for projects. They make up quickly and add that special touch. ❤Thank you for all you do.
Love the hearts. I just finished my first one. It is very easy to follow along with you. This is the first year in over 30 years that we put up a fake Christmas tree. I decided to let it up a while. I am going to make a bunch of hearts to decorate it with for Valentine's Day. The grandkids are excited!
i've made *thousands* of 'double-sided' hearts to hand out at my local cancer center. the patients & staff love them! i half-double crochet around, to join 2 of them. pinks, red, purple, and school colors are very popular!! tx, glenda!! ;)
I needed a puffy heart but have a hard time following the tutorials so I made two of these parts stuffed them and put them together turned out beautiful thank you
Thank you so much for your crocheted heart tutorial. I made my granddaughter 2 chunky yarn crocheted kittys and was looking for a simple heart pattern for them. Thanks again the hearts turned out great!
Dear Glenda, I have been struggling to find the right pattern for my crocheted hearts. I have just very successfully completed my first one. Thank you for a really superb tutorial, your patience and enthusiam shows through from start to finish. I am joining in here in the UK 'hearts for hospitals' a very special charity that will distribute them to loved ones and their families. One will stay with the patient and one to their families, some too will also be placed with their dearly deceased family members and one for the family to keep. It means so much to me that I have finally found your tutorial, I can now go full speed to make as many as possible. Sending you and your family very special wishes in these tragic circumstances, the world needs kindness right now. You have brought this to me and thousands of others, bless you. xxxx
I shared your video to Facebook today. It is perfect for the World-wide call for Hearts for Christchurch, New Zealand. I have made two dozen out of 100 that I will be sending off this week. That represents the 100 people killed or injured. Thank you again for your video and free pattern!
All your patterns are so lovely. I enjoy trying out all your stitches. Many end up in the projects I make for my church. You really keep the inspiration flowing. Judging from your over 100k subscribers I'm not the only one that feels that way. Thank you for what you do.
THIS IS SO EASY i wanted to make a cute luggage tag for my sister because we are going upstate soon and i didn't want to just do a regular square with some cool colors. i knew she love hearts so i made this and she was absolutely in love! i just added a single crochet chain loop and a border with a darker pink and baboom it was so cute! Thank you very much!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for this heart pattern. My Granddaughter had a little tree in her bedroom and wouldn't let my Daughter put it away with the rest of the Christmas decorations. Grandma was asked to make hearts to decorate it. I was struggling until I found your tutorial and your calming voice and pattern have been much appreciated. Next I have to do shamrocks so hope to find that you have a shamrock tutorial. : )
Thanks for the tutorial. I was looking for kitchen scruby patterns and this was in the results. I used scrobology yarn for my heart and it's such a cute heart. Great for gifting.
Excellent tutorial! Just been crocheting for less than a year so I appreciate the step -by- step instructions! My hearts turned out perfect! Thank you❤
Thank you for sharing I love your 💓 it was very easy you was not fast and explain it right some of the people were to fast I made one big white ❤️ and a red ❤️ I put the red heart on top of the white for my Valentine day blanket have a bless night
I love this! I am making a bunch of the smaller hearts and I am going to arrange them in a vase that reads "Mom" and give to my Mom for Valentines Day❤
Thank you so much for this fantastic tutorial! I love the way you repeat each step and count along, it's so helpful! Even though I'm a UK hooker, I felt comfortable using US terms for the first time! Thank you so much again and God Bless you for sharing your gifts xx
Thank you for your tutorial. It is one of the best. I am returning to crocheting after a long absence. Brushing up on old skills and learning new ones. Thank you for both.
Thank you, thank you, thank you sooo very much Grandma Glenda!!!! You made the tutorial so easy! !! Now I can finish my grandbaby's blanket. You made this grandma so very happy!! God bless you! !
This pattern and video was so easy to follow! Loved how you went at my pace. I've made half a dozen so far to give as gifts. I think in the second or third round when its a single 2 together you yarned over? Not sure if that makes a difference? Mine turned out amazing!
Good pace for beginners thanks for the tutorial.im going to do four hearts connect them for a cup coaster and give it to hr lady as a thank you I start job on st Patty day
at the end of row two you are to sc2tog but you started this decrease with a yarn over. To do this correctly you DO NOT yarn over at the beginning of a sc2tog. thanks for all your stitch patterns and tutorials. I come to your page every time I am stuck with something!
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this! I appreciate ALL of your tutorials because you make sure that ANYONE new or veteran of crochet can understand your every stitch. My cousin wanted about 20 or so crocheted hearts to send out with her xmas cards & this tutorial is what I used to make them. 🙂
These are beautiful, and your instructions are so clear! Is there any chance that you have instructions on how to turn these into squares for a blanket? In particular, the large heart :)
This is the most helpful tutorial I have ever followed. You are taken through every stitch and every combination of stitches completely step by step. Very well done and Thank you sooo much.❤❤😊😊xxx
I used my heart as a coaster for the past year. I just made several to send friends but added a single crochet white border for a little extra pizazz...thanks for the great tutorial! I am hoping to memorize it😊
This is a pretty heart. Thank you for sharing. My co-worker asked me to make stuffed one for her daughter. I thought a nice idea was to only do one round for a pocket attached to this mini pillow so she can use it for a tooth fairy pillow. 😉
Don't feel like an old lady cause your 13 and crocheting. It's wonderful for people to learn old methods of making things by any mode. I've saved alot of money making bags, socks, slippers, coasters and many more like sewing and other crafts. Crocheting is a noble craft and extremely useful! Think outside the box and craft items using crochet stitches you learn and a variety of twine, string, rope, macrame cord, etc. You will have many hours of fun and useful, better made, less expensive thi gs that your friends will rave over! Enjoy
