    That is the first time the "magic circle" made sense to me and it worked! Thank you. I made the heart for a hat I made for my grandgirl. It's a teensy bit wonky but it was a first try and I ran out of time to redo it. It was really fun and she just loves it.

    Your tutorial is perfectly paced for beginners and your explanations are clear and simple to follow. You have a true teaching gift - thank you! I did encounter one mistake which made it a bit difficult (until I worked it out)... at approx. 6:40 you say we're going to do "4 treble stitches", and this is reflected in the subtitles. However, you actually do 3 trebles which is correct for the pattern. I was following the audio so doing 4 trebles made it lopsided and unable to complete at the time. This is by no means a criticism but simply some feedback from a very happily satisfied follower! Thanks!!😀

      You can make the hearts bigger by going up a hook size or two, that way you won't have to work any extra rounds 😊

    Love your easy detailed paces in teaching this art. I am confused at time point 15:14 where you ask us to insert into one of the chain spaces from the first round. The video pauses, gets louder and skips. I would like you to clarify this last step with a photo or a short video. Thank you for your service in helping others learn the fiber art of crochet!

    Hello, just wondering if you'd done a recent version of this technique with that error in the second row amended? Caused me a bit of confusion when I was first learning this method and I know I had to explain it to a few others who referred to your video. Cheers :)

    Your tutorials are awesome but I cannot get the magic circle to work for me on this one! Would you ever suggest just chaining a circle and if so how many chains?

    • @bellacococrochet
      @bellacococrochet  3 роки тому

      You can use a chain circle if you prefer; I would chain three or four and then join with a slip stitch 😊

    Hi, could I please double check whether it is 3 or 4 doubke trebles just before you close up the centre? Your commentary says 4 but you only do 3 on the actual crochet followed by chain 2. Many thanks.

    • @bellacococrochet
      @bellacococrochet  2 роки тому

      You should be making three double trebles, not four - sorry for any inconvenience. It's always worth having a little look at the description box underneath the video as any mistakes are noted here 😊

      @@bellacococrochet thank you so much for replying. If I had read some of the comments before I messaged you, I wouldn't have needed to have bothered you 😊. I really like your demonstrations, they are so clear and easy to follow. Thank you again.

    If I can't make a magic circle can I crochet chains and join in the first chain with slip stitch. If so pls let me know how many should I make

    • @bellacococrochet
      @bellacococrochet  5 років тому

      Yes you can, I would normally make a chain of 4 🙂
