I just had to use the magic ring instead of the chain four. But it came out super cute ❤
**The yarn that I'm using is like super acrylic lol it's being stubborn with me. 😅

okay a small tip even if you guys do the slip knot and not the magic ring you can easily pull it later you only have to make the slip knot right i.e. you have to leave the small side of the yarn that you'll be pulling and make a slip knot of the long side of the yarn it is actually hard to explain it like this unless done practically

  • @lauren2lk
    @lauren2lk 3 місяці тому

To anyone who wants to make the heart bigger:
Hi! I figured out how to add another row lol. For some reason on the third round in the video, I only had 5 dc’s right before the bottom tip of the heart, not 6 so you can just do 12 dc’s and that should probably still be fine.
() = in the same stitch
    Sc x 3
    Dc
    (2dc) x 2
    (3dc) x 2
    (2dc) x 5
    Dc x 11
    (2dc)
    (Dc, tc, dc)
    (2dc)
    Dc x 11
    (2dc) x 5
    (3dc) x 2
    (2dc) x 2
    Dc
    Sc x 3
I only made one more row but if you were wanting more, you just need to experiment tbh. As a general guide though, it should start with sc’s, then (2/3dc’s) x however many stitches make up the curve (again, just experiment and see what makes the round part of the heart look the best), a bunch of dc’s down the side, then (dc, tc, dc) in the stitch at the tip of the heart. Hope that helps!!

Hi! How do I keep on increasing the height? Can you please help me with it, because when I tried it in my own it came out all wobbly :( Your video is the best one and helped a lot until now, thank you! 💗💗

The reason why I don’t go further is because it will go floppy. I would suggest using a bigger hook and a bigger yarn. 😊

First of all, you dida really goodjob explaining it so even I asa beginner + non native speaker could understand it first try
I do have a question though
For my project I need a really big/huge heart
Can i continue by just adding more double crochets into each stitch or would that ruin the shape?

This seems to be the common comment - I plan to do a video soon showing how to make this heart larger. In the meantime, for a quick fix you can use a bigger hook and or a larger yarn. Thank you 😊

Thank you for the tutorial :) Can you clarify how you end the medium size if you are stopping there? I went to the middle and did a slip stitch like the small, but it does a lot of curving so I wanted to be sure that was the right way :) Thank you!

You can just pull through after your last stitch and sew in or you can go to the next stitch and slip stitch
