    So in summary:
    1) Figure out an aim - the nobler the better
    2) What I do now shouldn't compromise my persuit of that aim
To actually act this out requires a plan, so:
    1) Figure out an achievable, tiny to small, goal which is in line with my aim, and document the goal in a manner which I can easily identify the goal as achieved.
    2) Figure out the tiny steps I can take and that I need to take to accomplish that goal, and document those in like manner as the goal.
    3) Do it
Miss anything / advise / corrections?

He also made a critique against postmodernism from a psychological perspective. We aren't aimless and reality is interruptible. Proof of that is man's existence (and struggle) as a being.

I had a dream last night that I went to a dinner, get together with my boss, and I rode in his backseat and as we rode, he said you don’t mind if I pick up a friend to you, and I said no and when he stopped to pick up his friend, it was Jordan Peterson. He sat in the backseat with me and we got to talk the entire way to the restaurant.

"What you should do isn't the same as what is." Philosophy and theology addresses the former, whereas science addresses the latter. In other words, philosophers and theologians prescribe ought claims while scientists make descriptive observations about the universe.

I cannot control my life because I am detemined by culture and genetic ancestory. That being said, I feel I can transcend the limitations of culture and perform my own unique act. I feel in control when I am being my self, individualised and seperate from the collective indentity of humanity. However, upon reflection the language I am using can only be understood when there exists a cohesion of meaning shared between the reader and me within our internal disctionaries. Interpretation interwoven between beings creates an experience of unity between people. Holistic expression of meaning is fundamental to our existence on this planet.

interesting comment about the AI needing a body to function well, watching this with the benefit of hindsight. despite the super popularity of LLMs, he might still have a point. i could see AI itself hitting its real stride once it's fully incorporated into robots to the degree that he's describing

    Hi. I have a question.
    I’m an intelligent young man.
But I’m terribly afraid of success, and happiness.
Perhaps because I don’t believe I deserve it, perhaps because I don’t believe it to be possible, perhaps because I truly hardly know what happiness even is. I’m not fully sure.
I was bullied as a kid and never understood by my family, and therefore have extremely low self esteem.
The reason I can say that, and nonetheless still start with “I’m an intelligent man”, is because, somehow, in some specific things I _do_ have confidence. Maybe because those things weren’t touched and therefore shattered in school and at home. I’m not fully sure.
As of now, most tasks make me feel extremely overwhelmed. You would think I’m lazy. But I’m _so_ not.
Therefore, looking for a good, high paying job, is extremely overwhelming. And keeping one, is incredibly overwhelming too. In fact, I got fired, because I wasn’t showing up, because I was too overwhelmed.
My question is: how can I overcome this, so that I can be confident in myself, enough to pursue - and keep - a “real”, high-paying job?
    Thank you.

Think what is things things that you know you should do, that you can do to make your life better and do it. If those things are big things break it down in smaller things that you can actually action and have some level of success but across a span of time. Well and I speak purely by my perspective. Some of us are spawn of sinners. So the majority of our life is spent viewing people sin. Yet these are the same people who draw the most attention. So we try to go to religion. Yet cause history doesn’t get taught religion doesn’t make sense. So people head towards King James Version which mind you is an Oxymoron. GOD doesn’t recognize the concept of bloodlines, wealth or morality.
Combine this with the fact society tries to domestically control us with titles and appeasement sets us for failure

It's unfortunate that's he works with a company that is acting hypocritically. I think daily wire is doing a wrong thing and going against its mission stamens. Peterson doesn't represent the views of the company. The daily wire acts as a production company/ publisher and I'm sure the contract is expensive to break and it won't be long that he separates himself from that. He has a plethora of free content under his own lectures. I don't want us to argue about who he works for and instead just call put daily wire and separate them both. Thank you
