my tuner told me not to drive with the flame map on
Yeah reason being is cuz spark cut is on low throttle anywhere from 1-20% depending on how it was tuned but u can drive on it

The type of programming required to make the engine do those types of things causes the engine oil coating on the cylinder walls to be washed off, greatly accelerating wear both in the immediate area and in the crankcase. The excess fuel is scraped into the engine oil by the rings and further dilutes the engine oil and increases engine wear. In addition, to make the excess fuel light off, high temperatures are required, and this is achieved by retarding ignition timing which raises the EGT very high causing damage to exhaust valves, increasing cyl head temps, and temperatures of all other components related

Oh yea absolutely I don’t recommend using it a lot. I rarely use mine. Just made a video on how to use it and that’s about it. What you do to your car is up to the people and they should have common sense to know this isn’t all good for the car except ricer boy clout chasing

If u want to desactivate the flame map, do u just turn off the car and it will be gone or u need to do something to desactivate it?
Change back to a different map on uprev or with ecutek, you can use the Bluetooth app with it or change it with your cruise control buttons
How do your flames hold? I'm tuned with uprev and have the arc features and no cats or mufflers and I just get quick half second bursts but nothing seems to work to hold them
It depends on how your tuner sets it up. It’s usually about pulling timing and more fuel dump i Believe. But just all about testing and figuring out what’s the sweet spot. My sweet spot is usually high rev rolling around 60-80mph in like 3rd gear lol
Like he said timing retard with more fuel most tuners on tune 2 columns/rows so around 1-2% throttle and there for u need to be very precise on now going any lower or higher

If you want to maximize the performance and have flames, yes get ISR, Berk resonated or Motordyne art pipes

I got tuned on up rev with a flame map aswell but my car doesn’t spit any flames, I can’t seem to figure it out I can barley make it burble. Does anyone know what it might be?🙏
Btw my mod are test pipes, and and ISR exhaust with 3 inch long tube cold air intakes. I can switch maps and everything but no flames even with throttle play on decel

Wym by “tap the throttle” how much of a tap I have the flame map but I can’t get it to work
Just a literal tap on deceleration above 3k rpm. Every tuner sets their parameters. I’m tuned at RT Tuning in PA But Best way is to contact your tuner for further details and better instructions on your flame map
How much did your tune cost? I’m not sure what an average tune is
Mine was $800 at rt tuning in PA. They cost around $700-1000 depending on the tuner and it’s features of the tune/dyno time

Not sure if you’ll see this, but my g37 nav system shows night mode (stars in the sky in gps) during the day and day mode (blue sky) during the night. Do you know how to fix this?
There’s a button on the right side of the nav screen where it says ☀️/ 🌙/ off. Hit that button

Does this damage your car in anyway other than burning the bumper?
It can affect internals, especially if you use it continuously for minutes on end. Check your oil
