I wanted to switch the lightbulbs into leds but the lampholder was broke and i didn't get it out.

I'm going to do similar with an Eonon unit - just going to stick the microphone to the inside of the cover he removed!
I couldn't find out how to remove it because i wrecked the lampholder of my interiorlight.

Hi Jean, I didn't see your reply until now. You need a control module, which goes in the trunk, an antenna, which goes under the steering wheel, and then the mic. You might also need to switch some wiring around behind the rear seat and have the dealership activate the bluetooth for you. Hi. I seem to have good Bluetooth functionality - except for the phone being unable to hear voice for calls; was that your situation? That is, your phone pairing allowed one-way audio - e.g. hearing the far end conversation, but your recipients not hearing you? It just strikes me as odd that BMW would have all other functionality enabled on my vehicle, but not have supplied a microphone ?! Thx
Paul Smith you have to rewire the microphone by the glovebox..... I did the same thing.

Paul Smith it's not too difficult to do. My car apparently was a lease when it was originally sold. So it had all the options, just not activated and "partially" installed. I had to retro-fit the Bluetooth amongst other things..... good luck!
