Wow, I could spend all day there and come back home so tired it would be like a hangover. It is sad that arcades have died out in the west, but Japan has made thier own version that looks so cool! The arcades I remember were all cramped, loud and had tons of flashing lights. These arcades keep the sound level down so I can enjoy my game, and they are so clean and bright.

@@arwen999 thanks. There's a big arcade/game centre in my city Winnipeg called "The Rec Room" that might have it, but I haven't been there since the Pandemic started.
Some Round 1 arcades have them too.

These places are so crowded and yet so quiet , lol places like this in America would be so loud and everyone would be spewing stupidly at each other , it's nice to know that there is an entire country that just minds their own business
I don't know, this feels too much like going to the library. I'd rather have annoying kids goofing around than a whole building of people with masks minding their own business, and this is coming from someone who hates crowds.
Maybe one floor of silent gaming it's okay, but man not a single laugh or scream in an arcade... that's depressing lol

There's one more taito arcade (Hirose entertainment yard) literally RIGHT beside the sega across from the station... that was my favourite one. Going through akiabara videos because reminiscing... It was my favourite one. but it wasn't in the video =(

Man, quite a few of the modern games look better and more fun than most we got in the U.S., so unfair! Even the crane/UFO machines have pretty good stuff and might have a better chance getting the items. Although most items don't interest me. The best crane machine is at one of the Super Potato retro game places where you have a chance to get actually Nintendo DS games. Man, I wish we had crane games in the U.S. where you can get videogames, trading cards, DVDs, etc. They could make a killing off of those.
I remember spending way too much money in the arcades there something like $300 in a day. If I could I would do it again. XD

Japan has the most boring arcades but I got to give it to them I got to play at least tekken 7 early in 2016 if I were to comeback it’s if they got new releases in the arcades not old games just like street fighter 6 tekken 8
