The name of this product is very misleading, it's 42% rice and only 10% chicken, surely it should be called something like "spicy rice with chicken, pepper & lemon". Oh well, let's give it a go......

my good lady found this in the freezer today , no idea i had it . will have to add more chicken and lemon
It needs lots more chicken to make a decent meal mate, don't add any salt though!

I used to get these years ago "just stir fry!" bags of stir fry rice meat and veg. Always underwhelming.
Bad quality rice, bad quality veg, bad quality meat and zero seasonings. "just add soy sauce"
They were great 18 years ago from iceland when I was at uni, now I can actually cook food, it's not worth the freezer space!
@@macaroon666 Iceland still do those bags, I've never tried one, not sure if I ever will
they used to come in pyramid microwave bags, like tetley tea bags, but i would pan fry them and it never improved the end product.

Definitely sounds like an interesting product. I don’t think it would be one I would enjoy.

Atm Aldi have got subway copy sauces. Worth a try if you've got an Aldi. Aldi also do the subway style bread. It's under the metro brand . Subway .. metro... Get it 🤣🙄.
Anyway the chipotle mayo is awesome. It's what subway calls the southwest sauce, the only reason I goto subway. Might be worth a review some of the sauces maybe make a cheeky subway copy using the bread and ingredients from Aldi. Could probably get a pack of bread, a few sauces and then some fillings for numerous sandwiches for less than the cost of one sandwich from actual subway.
I've heard of those sauces, I hardly ever go to Aldi though, my local one is closing soon for a refit and expansion, I'll pay a visit when it reopens
I think I’ll give this one a miss. Doesn’t look appetising to me. Although I have grabbed some mini heck burgers today in asda to give a try :-)

Hi ya , i went to idle earlier got a bag of of Kingstons cheese and jalapeno , they are nik naks . really like them but you need to eat a few to get a hint of jalapeno but nice , in the special bye bit , seen that what you've tried dont think i'll bother
