We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

THANK YOU ❗️ - Розваги
You should make more 1 pan dinners! I love them😊
bro, bro, bro................bro, 1 pan dinners are, the fucking, BEST
yea I agree
And iron skillets are easy to clean and season: just don't use scrubbers. Heat the pan to smoking, and place under the hottest water of your sink, then steam off everything. If needed, rinse and repeat: smoking pan, hot water, nothing else. Then let cool to touch, season with olive oil, and upturn in a 200F oven for a few hours: recommend having a sheet pan with parchment paper underneath to soak up any drops.
Yessss! I made that one pan roast chicken and veggie dinner with Sam made a while back and everytime its friggen delicious!
I love cooking UA-cam. These guys have collectively ignited a true passion for cooking, I can’t thank them enough! I guess I’m not half bad!
Sam, I watch your videos all the time and love them. I am middle-aged and a very bad cook. I have no cooking confidence and I know that I rushed through things. I made this recipe tonight and while I use different seasonings, I cut no corners and followed your cooking directions to the letter. I know it’s a simple dish that I would usually screw up, but I was hell-bent today. It’s the best dish that I’ve ever made and I think it’s because you helped me have confidence and I feel so intimidated. Thanks a lot. Keep up the awesome cooking.
I've made it twice already. Mexican style with chipotle and cumin and an Indian style with curry and coconut milk. So good!
This turned out so good! The rice soaked up all of the luscious flavors! Thank you for sharing the recipe!
Amazing, quick, and easy! Love it. Would love to see an Oxtail recipe on here soon. I've seen you do amazing Jamaican dishes before!
Just made this tonight. Absolutely amazing and so simple. Made a lot of your recipes before. This one's a 10/10 for taste and simplicity
Sam! Long time watcher, first time cooker. My family and I watched this one and decided it was worth taking a crack at. It was amazingly delicious and happy food. My kiddos ensured there were no leftovers. Keep it up!
Made this a couple nights ago. It was FANTASTIC! Thank you again Sam. And please do more one pan meals. So easy for us older cookers!😂❤
Just made this one tonight and it was excellent! Love the recipes for 5+ people, keep ‘em coming!
Just made this meal… family favorite! Keep them coming Sam!!!
Made this tonight, in my STCG 12" cast iron skillet. This is a keeper! Thanks Sam!
Hello Sam and cooking team production Happy New Year. Our family loves your recipes looking forward seeing new recipes in the coming new year. My husband gifted me your new cookbook Between the Buns, we love the name. Sending many blessings from Texas to you and your family, ❤
Made this over the weekend, followed the recipe, simple and amazing flavor served it with some pickled carrots, jalapeño and onion on the side and it was a great complement to the dish.
Dear Chef Sam,
Thank you for the complete recipe,
SAM! Hello from Alaska! I love everything you do, very entertaining. I found you by accident, best discovery ever!
Just made this after watching today.... I added a little wine to it after browning the chicken... Beautiful and easy to make 👍👍
This has everything i love. good spices, rice, chicken thighs, cast iron cooking, onion... i cannot wait to make it. thanks from South Jersey!!! always hit not not tacos when i am in SD.
I love my pan. The seasoning right out of the box was perfect and I maintain it.
This looks great, we will definitely be trying this.
I like this one. Good idea for a family dinner. Awesome
I’ve made this twice since the video was posted and it’s the easiest meal prep ever. Made my paternity leave meals easy to deal with during the day!
I Love it! saved and will make soon. Thank you
This looks wonderful... yummy and easy!
Just made this for dinner this evening. It was fantastic!
Oh, bloody hell, this was delicious!!! I made myself AND my husband VERY happy! He wants it try it with potatoes instead of rice, too. Keep doing what you are doing STCG!
Made this today. Husband and I both THOROUGHLY enjoyed it. Was even able to make it with kids running around my feet, super simple.
We make something similar with boneless chicken thighs with diced tomatoes and Spanish rice that is to die for. So much so when we make it we make a double batch.
Made this today. It really came out great!
Arroz con pollo. My Dad made it for us. Sooo good. No adobo seasonings but tomatoes, pimentos, etc.
VIDEO SUGGESTION!! Look up and the pueblo green chile slopper and give that a go. We have something similar to the hatch chili in it but we are famous for them here. It's a burger with green chili stew smothered on top. Perfect for this time of the year! The chile can go on burritos as well! If you need the recipe for the green chile I can send mine over. It's top notch!
Ok I’m making for dinner tonight thank you so much for all you do!!
yup, i used breast but still slam.
Spot on! Here I am with some old frozen chicken thighs to use up. As well, I need to use up the last of the stock from the leftover Thanksgiving turkey parts, which I canned and froze, but there was a lot of fat, and it'll go bad. So I'm thinking I have old wild rice that's also gonna turn if I don't use it (doesn't keep like stabilized white rice, only a year, maybe).
And BANG!
Instantly, Sam the Cooking Guy right there to offer a base recipe to work from.
Thank you much.
What a straightforward, quick and tasty recipe Sam!!
Thanks for this technique.
So gooood and so easy! Thx Sam
This turned out so great. My arose con pollo was okay, nothing to be proud of. But, this recipe truly stepped it up 10 notches. So, so good.
Love this show .and finally got some garlic paste and anchovy paste as well 👊😎
I got one and we love it and you can do anything you want. We use it almost everyday
Sammy boy! You was sparked AF during this session! No doubt in my mind bro
Any flavorful chicken and rice recipe is one of my top favorite comfort foods. This made my mouth sweat and my stomach growl. 😂 I will be cooking this sometime next week for sure.
I made this tonight as almost instructed and my gosh, what a treat. I love spice and have done all of the one chip challenges, but have to be careful when I cook for the family. I put the chipotle peppers in a glass and pureed them with a hand blender. I used a spoonful-ish and that was the perfect amount. Like a lime forward with an immediate earthy rice/onion to tame it, and then the spice on the back end. My favorite one pan chicken dish for sure.
Love me some chicken and rice. Gonna try this one for sure. ❤❤❤❤❤
Making it right now. Smells amazing. Take me back to my time in the Philippines
😋🤯🥹
I’m trying this right now.
Happy New Year, that pan chicken looked amazing, and here I am persisting in my request for you guys to do a take on Joe's Special. Hope you're enjoying the first week of 2024 :)
Day 5 since Sam made chicken cordon bleu for me!! 😂 want to thank you again and let you know I made it and it was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love this guy
That looks so amazing!! I would absolutely love to make this, however my better half does not like onions 😢
Love to see it I make this all the time . damn near exactly the same way main difference is i use a stainless pan.
Yes found it!!! Added the rice
I'm going to make this tomorrow, but will use boneless/skinless chicken thighs and probably cut them up before adding to the rice. Looking forward to it!
Great Recipe, great episode! Yummy Chicken and rice! And way too easy! Championship!
My absolute favorite cooking show!
Do more date night dinners. Got lucking on that last one. I like all the recipes. But just enjoys watching the most.
I gotta try this. I just made my moms 70's chicken rice bake (yeah, pretty sure it was back of a campbell's soup can). My family really liked it, and my dog who was recovering from a liver infection and wouldn't eat anything crushed it. This looks way more flavorful.
Thank you Sam! Can I make this with chicken breast??
More of these please
We made this tonight, and did your Braciole yesterday. This was a huge hit with my kids.
Looks so flavorful!
Just made this
Soo amazing
I made this , or my version of this, last night (but because I didn’t have everything you used), it was all gone! All of it! It was delicious.
That looks like a great weeknight meal. Yummy and easy to make!
North shore beef 3 way sandwich would be great to see you make.
happy new year STCG crew
whats this fugazi arroz con pollo?
Btw, I have a suggestion for a future video:
Make your favourite filet mignon 🥩+sauce recipes (3 ways) !
Greetings from San Diego California 😚
Sam & Max, I was wondering whether you would consider making Chicken Paprikas (including Spaetzle)?? Please??
Just made this, and it's unbelievable ❤
Nice one, wonder if you could put the one pan in the oven for a bit?
Cheap, easy, delicious, what's not to love?
Just made this for dinner and it was the bomb! I had to make a few subs because I didn't have everything but it was great!! This is a must make, I'm adding it to the weekly menu.
Looks like a real nice skillet
Can't go wrong with chicken and rice. I like to use boneless/skinless thighs and cut the up into bite size pieces after getting color. Plus replace part of the broth with cream of mushroom soup.
Love me some cream of mushroom! Was a staple with my mother! Porcupine meatballs with cream of mushroom gravy! Meatloaf with cream of mushroom gravy! Chicken enchiladas!!! 1 can green chili sauce, and 1 can, you guessed it!! Cream of Mushroom 😊 lay em out like cards! No rolling, no cracking tortillas! Lay out a hand of corn tortillas in a pan, layer chicken mixed with enchilada sauce mixture, lay out a hand of tortillas, layer cheese...rinse repeat till pan is full👍
I love these recipes. I would take 1000 different variations of chicken and rice.
Nice - simple and tasty.
I suggested this once before, but since it IS a New Year, and this dish is supposed to bring good luck, I’d love to see your spin on Hoppin’ John - bacon (or ham), black eye beans, onions, rice, celery - and your favorite spices.
Keeping looking for the BFF to be back in stock. Hopefully soon!
i used this the next day for burrito stuffing, diced up a thigh, and it was the best burrito i ever made. i added a little bit much of the chipotle sauce the night before which made me think of it. i heated up the filling, rolled it up and toasted it in the air fryer for 6 min, then topped it with sour cream, salsa verde and chiltepin hot sauce. served with chips. will be a new staple. so easy.
You live in Southern Cali and said cold winter nights....lmao 😊
Anything below 60 is freezing out here!😂
Lmao I live in Colorado and have seen-65 here growing up😂😂😊
Sam, could you cook up something that is a 1-pot recipe but with a steam table pan, the size used in restaurants and buffets? Something done in the oven for 12-15 people. It is actually hard to find recipes specifically for steam table pans yet it is a very common size pan. Luv your channel baby!
Looks great!! Did anyone catch the amounts of rice and chicken stock? Thanks
You are awesome Sam The Cooking Guy God Bless you buddy❤🎉
Would love to see your take on Indonesian Rendang
love these 1 pan recipes. very great for a busy house!!
We've made this one a few times now, it's so good! What really makes it complete is a can of black beans. You should try it!
That sounds great! At what point do you suggest adding the black beans?
@@derrickmcghee8535 We used canned beans so it was at the end.
Arroz con pollo! My mouth is watering!
Should cook for daym drops, I’d love to see that
🎉🎉 Happy New Year STCG!! 🎉🎉 Chicken, rice, onions, spices…perfect!!
How about make a chicago style deep dish pizza in the cast iron skillet?
TEAM STCG BUTTON 💪
Make Albondigas please!!
Love this recipe! Cast iron skillet is the only way to go. 😎
Gettin laaaaaaiiiiiiid
I’m making this tonight. But with onion soup instead of stock and I think green peas need to make an appearance.
Make Filipino chicken adobe clove cinnamon etc Vinegar eee My late grandpa made this a lot YUMMMMM!!!!!
Nice and cheap and easy and tasty. 😋
Black eye peas and collared greens for the future!!!
You have done it again…great
What’s the difference between broth and stock? And when do you use them?
Awesome!
any chance you could make a meal on low protein? I have had to limit the amount of protein i eat to 3 days a week. This has been a major struggle for me since i used to eat meat and cheese in every meal.
Yeah, I can do this one.
