Unfortunately, too fast to be usable, too quiet and underwhelming sonically to be thrilling and too problematic to own to be truly 911 stress-free. Furthermore, parts are expensive or unobtainable and extended warranties are ludicrously expensive (around £4,000 per year.. We have to wonder why..). These cars are now "less" for these very reasons. Ultimately, they are still playthings for people that have the money to buy much fresher models (that still have warranty attached). For the vast majority of people looking for cars in this price bracket, it'll still be the 911 or perhaps the R8 that look like far better ownership prospects. With so many used 570S around, it will be interesting to see what happens to values in the coming years..
@@MrDead1975 if you buy a 911 from Porsche it will come with 2 years Porsche warranty in the price. That's less stress than forking out £3-4k for stuff that the warranty actually covers.. Porsches (outside of major, pretty rare catastrophe) will never run repair bills of £10-20k (esp under Approved warranty). McLarens will *before* someone is willing to slap a warranty on at *your* expense. It's a totally different buyer's prospect.
Lack of LSD... reckon they being cheap like they do on the interior, in particular that horrific IRIS system! All that power and no LSD, tricky one for driver confidence in the wet uk. Great review btw

Try an Evora; it's basically 9/10ths of a McLaren for 1/2 the cost.
Thorney Motorsport warranty - £2850.
911 - stress free, lol. My 911 had more mechanical problems and cost more to run than my lambo

Can you not handle yours in the wet?
Neither Lotus nor McLaren like LSDs. Think they know what they're doing......
@@EvoraGT430 clearly not
@@EvoraGT430 From your name, you sound like you own an Evora. And they all have LSD's from the 400 onwards
