I absolutely love your Disney movie reactions but I’d also love to see you react to some Nickelodeon movies too like the Wild Thornberry’s Movie, the Rugrats movie, and Hey Arnold movie 😀
Enforced Method Acting: -During the scene where Woody looks at the Woody’s Roundup merchandise in Al’s apartment, mock-ups of the merchandise were shown to Tom Hanks while he was recording his dialogue; *thus, Woody’s reactions were Hanks’ actual reactions in real life.* -As revealed in the DVD Commentary, Joan Cusack actually cried when she recorded the line *"Just go!"* after the song "When She Loved Me".
My given name is Emily and I was the kid who had to make sure my teddy bear was sitting comfortably upright before I left the room. When I say I cried during Jessie's backstory, I mean I was *distraught*.
9:55 Actually, in an interview with the directors or producers, they told us that Woody is the only Woody, which is why Al was so excited to have him. Basically, when the Woody doll first came out, they had this competition to win involving cereals, and Andy's dad couldn't afford the cereal, so he couldn't enter, but he sent letters to the company anyway (can't remember the reason). And this was all gonna go ahead, but then the astronauts went to space, and with the Woody show, the competition got cancelled. But someone running the comp saw Andy's dad's letter, and sent him the only Woody doll. It also turns out that Andy's dad had some sort of medical condition. And so one day, Andy's dad told Andy to go upstairs and check in a box on his bed or something like that, and in that box was Woody. And while Andy was upstairs, Andy's dad passed away. The story is something like that, but yeah. Woody is one of a kind and so gonna be worth a fortune. Edit - Source Video: ua-cam.com/video/bbmzuoBC1Rs/v-deo.html
I feel like many bootlegs would have been made over time. Also there probably would have been a few other enthusiasts who tracked down the only doll and either offered to pay a crap ton or just stole it many years earlier. I’m not disbelieving you, especially bc of the video, I’m just judging the pixar for that thought process.
@@teleportingpotatoe most likely 60s actually. Jessie's original kid had things from the 70s in her room as a teenager. Which would make it more likely the 60s to early 70s when Jessie came out.
Sarah McLachlan is who sang “When She Loved Me”. She is also the reason for the tears during those old ASPCA commercials as she is the singer of “In The Arms of The Angel”.
Toy Story 2 is a masterpiece alongside treasure planet, Atlantis: the lost empire, The emperor's new groove, Mulan, Hercules, lilo and stitch, Tarzan, the princess, and the frog, ratatouille, lion king, the list goes on and on❤❤❤❤❤❤
There's an internet theory that Emily is Andy's mom because the hat he wears isn't Woody's but Jessie's. The same hat that Emily had in the flashback. And yes, I cry every time I watch that scene. Sarah MacLachlan (the singer) can really tug at your heartstrings and was the prefect choice for that song.
Here’s a theory on what happened Andy’s Father: (I didn’t come up with it i’m just sharing it here) Andy Sr. already sickly, came down with polio, which meant that all of his belongings had to be burned-including toys. But, he stashed Woody away before he could be burned. Eventually recovering from polio, he met his wife as an adult and had Andy Jr. BUT, around the time Andy’s sister was born, he came down with post-polio syndrome, which he ended up dying from-but not before he entrusted his favorite Woody doll to his son. BUT the kicker is that his Woody doll never realized that Andy Jr. was a different person from Andy Sr. He just believed that Andy stored him away for a while and then started playing with him again randomly. (Which makes sense since Woody is such an old fashioned toy that is still in pretty good condition after so many years.)
It's not really a theory, this is supposedly from the mouth of Pixar's former head writer. Unfortunately he is no longer with us to confirm or deny this.
I still have this boxed up on VHS in my closet. I think it was a Christmas present one year, I always got Disney VHS as a kid. This honestly is my favorite Toy Story, the abandonment themes Jessie faces are so heavy so a kid's movie topic.

Actually most (probably all) of the toys/video games of Woody is voiced by Tom Hanks’ brother Jim! He does a lot of the tie-in voice work for him, so I’d assume any profit from that would go to him instead.
Jim also voiced Woody in the opening to Buzz lightyear of star command spin off film before it was rerecorded for the first 2 episodes of the show with Patrick Warburton voicing Buzz. I loved the TV show as a teen and I saw every episode

Ms. Honey's low speaking voice in Matilda was my first experience of ASMR (especially when she was telling the story of how she was related to the Trunchbull) but this was my 2nd experience - the "fixer upper scene" of this movie!
Rumor has it that Andy's mom who is named Emily might actually be jessies Owner because Andy Sr and Emily probably loved the woodys round-up show in 50s so maybe they met each other in the future at one point because she did donate Jessie but you can see how tells AL Woody is an old Family toy but also Jessie and Andy jr do both have the same Hats.
This is my favorite of the Toy Story movies, absolutely. The Barbie moments are HYSTERICAL. Especially knowing that Mattel had to beg Pixar to take them after they denied them the rights five years before. I loved watching Billy delight in all the callbacks and references. Oh, sweet summer child. Billy. Sweetheart. You just signed yourself up for all NINE Star Wars movies. You do realize that, right? @bingers
Thanks Billy❤️ Not a dedicated fan, no. But I know like all the characters and certain facts everyone should know lol. Glad to be back for this one though!
Christmas Rushed: The film was unexpectedly given a November 1999 theatrical release date after Pixar fashioned it as a Direct to Video movie. Horrified, Pixar asked and was granted permission to completely redo the film from scratch to make it more suitable for the silver screen. *However: Disney refused to budge on the date, resulting in what is usually a year's work of production being crammed into nine months.* The grueling workload and mental toll it took on the animators led to Pixar splitting its animators up into teams so that it would reduce risk of crunch. It should be noted that John Lasseter was not supposed to be involved in the film's production, as he was planning to take a break after directing A Bug's Life, but agreed to join once he heard just how bad things were going with the film.
Toy Story 2 is my favorite out of the Toy Story movies. Can't stand Toy Story 4 (I'm sorry, but when you grew up with those movies, the ending just felt awfully). Jessie and Woodie also are my favorite characters, so the second movie just has a special place in my heart. Definitely watch the other two tho!
Oh my god, did I finally find people who agree with me on that? I loved it until the last five minutes, then I was so hurt and betrayed that I couldn’t even talk about it. THAT ENDING SUCKED.
I don’t hate TS4, it’s definitely my least favourite but it has its pros and cons. What I couldn’t stand in that movie? Bonnie’s ungrateful annoying ass. I know I’m being hard on her but come onnn, Andy had like a mini monologue about how Woody’s a really important toy, and even if she couldn’t fully understand, she could’ve at least picked up on the BoDy LaNgUaGe. She treated Woody so bad, I can’t 😩
Toy Story 2 has always been my favorite Toy Story movie! I was always a Woody fan AND the scene of him getting repaired is so soothing. You should def do all of the Toy Story movies for the #bingers. Also, I’m not into Raisin Bran Crunch, but Raisin Bran hits!
Definitely looking forward to watching this commentary reaction. I like this one. But the first movie is still my favorite. You should definitely continue with the "Toy Story" movies. There's only two more left to go. I highly recommend the 2006 movie "The Shaggy Dog". #Bingers And I do have a glass of water in the fridge getting cold to have while watching this video. 😊
I always cry when i listen when she loved me, it resembles my big sister's now broken relationship from start to now🥺 still my fave movie from the secuel
11:13 Same. Well, Like Cheetos.😏 22:29 Tim Allen’s Character, Jack/zoom said the same line in the 2005 movie “Zoom: Academy for Superheroes.” 7:59 The Voice for Jessie was Abby In the Chicken Little movie and She was the Principle In Jack Black’s School of Rock.
Was there only one Woody doll? Andy's father was also named Andy-Andy Sr. -and he wrote his name on Woody's boot. The reason Woody is such a rare toy is because he's the only Woody doll that was ever made-just a prototype. Long story short, Andy ends up with a Woody prototype, the absolute only Woody doll in existence (the official line was never manufactured due to a new interest in space toys). So, honestly after looking through google, Woody is only one of a kind unlike Buzz who we see the isles are full of buzzes but there is only one woody doll and the whole collection was only made of only one each and that's it. Which made them super rare.
I cried at Jessie’s backstory after recently watching. I used to have an OG Jessie doll the first year since moving to the states. I loved her so much... Watching it not too long ago, I actually cried because I never knew what happened to her. I tried to find her but no luck. And I cried, knowing I might never find her again.
9:59 Eh… I know a theory that says otherwise. So one theory says that Woody was originally Andy’s dad’s and was passed on to Andy when he passed, there are two sides of the theory: one is that woody is a very old toy so to find him in the condition that he’s in is rare. The other is that Woody is the only one ever made; before the show was canceled they did a prize giveaway and the winner would get the very first Woody, and upon reading a heartfelt letter, finished the prototype and sent it to the winner: Andy’s dad when he was a boy.
More often than not my cheeks hurt after your vids. You make me laugh 'til I cry at times and just smile. Another great commentary and edit thanks Billy & Antonio. I would love to see a reaction to Toy Story 3, 4 if your feeling up to it as well. I think it's #bingers Toy Story 3
I think Prospector lied to Woody and Jessie about 'Woodys Finest Hour' being canceled, cos Woody turns on the tv to show Buzz and the others an episode of 'Woodys Roundup' and while they're talking you can at some point hear Jessie thanking Woody for saving them. The little speech and song marionette Woody does sounds like the opposite of the anti kid stuff Prospector was trying to put in their heads, so he lied about it. Sure enough Woody sees the kid hugging marionette Woody and hears the song then changes his mind.
You have one more Toy Story film to watch so don’t stop here. Also some titles I recommend watch for #bingers: Swiss Family Robinson, The Time Machine (1960), House of Wax (1953), The Villain (1979), Blazing Saddles, Flower Drum Song, Hello Dolly, Carmen Jones, Lilies of the Field, And The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956),
As someone who grew up and started customizing dolls, I can appriciate the added layer of karma Stinky Pete gets buy ending up with that girl. He spent his whole life pristine in his box, but that girls gonna draw on him with markers and stain him. He'll never have an value again cuz anyone that customizes dolls knows certain marker stains are nearly impossible if not impossible to get out
Great reaction Billy! Thanks for the laughs 🤣 I love the 3rd one! I get so emotional Everytime Andy drops off the toys!🥺 #bingers Holes Emporers new groove Lilo and stitch 42: the Jackie Robinson story
Toy Story 2 is my all time favorite out of the Toy Story series. I remember when I was ten and it was out in theaters. My mom, cousin and I went to see it and when that burp scene came on, it had the whole theater laughing like crazy, my mom even told me she saw a guy almost fell out of his seat because he was laughing so much at that scene. And yes I cried at that scene with the song When She Loved Me.
I was 8 when it came out in theaters, and my second grade teacher actually took my class on a field trip to the movie theater to see it. It was amazing!
Yay the Lu billy for doing this movie series I love toy story this is probably my fave out of all four of them I had alot of toy story stuff when I was a kid I hope u can do the third one soon I love this movie brings back so much memories also I want along at the end when wheezy was singing
There’s a Pixar theory that Andy’s mom is Jessie’s previous owner, Emily. The timeline of the fads line up. Also if you notice, Andy wears a hat that’s identical to Jessie’s. Not Woody’s. Presuming it was a family heirloom that was passed down since it’s worn out a bit. Some people argue that the hair color doesn’t match but hair dye is a thing soo lol. Idk it’s one of my favorite theories. Also that the witch from Brave is Boo (Mary) from Monsters Inc. I can kind of see that one but not as much as the Jessie one.
@@teleportingpotatoe assuming that Toy Story takes place in the mid-late 90s when it was made, then Emily would be a little old to be Andy's mother. You'd think she was probably only in her 30s (or maybe very early 40s at the oldest) at the time of Toy Story, if she was the mother of two young kids (Andy and baby Molly). If she was Emily and was a child in the late 50s (meaning she would have been born around the late 40s or early 50s) then that would have made her pretty well into her 40s at the time of Toy Story. Of course, some people do wait until later in life to have children and some women do manage to have babies when they're over 40 (and she would have had to have been over 40 at least when Molly was born, if she was indeed Emily and had grown up in the 50s), but again, it isn't super common.

Confession: As a kid I wanted Woody and Jessie to be together because they were both cowboys/cowgirls so I hated Little Bo Peep on principle. And that's the same reason I refused to watch Toy Story 4 as a 22 year old. I still stand by this logic, fight me
Yes, Toy story 3 and 4 are something I think worth watching. If the third part was mentioned, I highly recommend it to you and almost everyone. I think the message you are giving is very good. And the fourth part is an unexpected success. #Bingers
My favorite Pixar theory is that Jessie's owner is Andy's mom -- Andy has this cowboy toy from the 60's, and Jessie's toy hat. They are hand-me-downs from his mom's childhood.
Billy: Do you still want cereal? Me: casually shoving a huge spoonful of frosted flakes in my mouth...lmao. Cereal can be breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My place is always full of different types of cereal
7:42 my reaction to Al: seriously, you don’t have to drive your car 🚘 from your apartment to your own job, Al. Besides, you just simply want to save money on gasoline ⛽️ for your car 🚗 and to walk the pedestrian line. 20:29 📸 21:17 that’s so sweet, buzz. 23:43 I recently met Jodi Benson online chatting from galaxy con last year.
Meanwhile me trying to watch these first two reactions before the Toy Story 3 one, theory that Woody used to be Andy's fathers toy, the Voice For Jessie I believe is Joanna Lumley who was also that woman in The Addams Family Values. Oh man another slept on movie I need to remember if I saw a thumbnail on if you may have reacted to it or not, she also does a misplaced voice in Klaus

When Jesse was doing a flashback, I started crying so bad, and when I was watching this video and the same came on, I was about to cry
Agree with you about TS4
Oh my god, did I finally find people who agree with me on that? I loved it until the last five minutes, then I was so hurt and betrayed that I couldn’t even talk about it. THAT ENDING SUCKED.
I'm with you on TS4. Like, really? After separation from Andy, the group also break up??
I cry at "When She Loves Me" to this day...
Definitely looking forward to watching this commentary reaction.
I like this one. But the first movie is still my favorite.
You should definitely continue with the "Toy Story" movies. There's only two more left to go.
I highly recommend the 2006 movie "The Shaggy Dog". #Bingers
And I do have a glass of water in the fridge getting cold to have while watching this video. 😊
First movie I saw in theaters….what a masterpiece! Keep up the good work, Billy!
7:17 OMG SAME I THOUGHT THE SAME THING OMG IM LIKE THATS SO CRAZY ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Billy: “I wanna know how many of y’all cried when y’all heard this?”
Me hearing it in this video: 😭😭😭
Those bloopers really have me cracking up!!!
A bugs life and ants are SOOO different in my mind. One I wasn’t even allowed to watch as a kid.
You have one more Toy Story film to watch so don’t stop here. Also some titles I recommend watch for #bingers:
Swiss Family Robinson,
The Time Machine (1960),
House of Wax (1953),
The Villain (1979),
Blazing Saddles,
Flower Drum Song,
Hello Dolly,
Carmen Jones,
Lilies of the Field,
And The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956),
sounds boring and not modern no one is gonna wanna see him react to these
As someone who grew up and started customizing dolls, I can appriciate the added layer of karma Stinky Pete gets buy ending up with that girl. He spent his whole life pristine in his box, but that girls gonna draw on him with markers and stain him. He'll never have an value again cuz anyone that customizes dolls knows certain marker stains are nearly impossible if not impossible to get out
Great reaction Billy! Thanks for the laughs 🤣
I love the 3rd one! I get so emotional Everytime Andy drops off the toys!🥺
#bingers
Holes
Emporers new groove
Lilo and stitch
42: the Jackie Robinson story
I miss when animators would make bloopers of the characters. They were always the absolute best
The millennial generation (aka me) did not appreciate Toy Story 4. It’s like Pirates of the Caribbean 4 & 5. They were not needed!
Really? I loved it! Not as much as the first 2, but it was good
Yes! I HATED 4! I'm happy Woody was with Bo again but Ugh Bonnie was SO ungrateful! She should have just given him back to Andy😒
@@christi776 isn’t she 4 years old?
@@iknowwhatyouare102 in Toy Story 4 she started kindergarten, so she was about 5-6.
I’m not a fan of cheese puffs myself, but I do love crunchy Cheetos. Also love the shoutout to Drake & Josh! It really was a fun show.
This is my all time favourite movie. Watched it like one hundred times when I was a kid, and I can still watch it today and be entertained.
It’s crazy how nobody pays attention to what Andy’s mom actually said she said it’s a old family toy 🧸 what do means woodly was passed down to Andy
The person who sowed woody up was the one playing chess in the end of bugs life
Yay the Lu billy for doing this movie series I love toy story this is probably my fave out of all four of them I had alot of toy story stuff when I was a kid I hope u can do the third one soon I love this movie brings back so much memories also I want along at the end when wheezy was singing
Oh man, I definitely bawled like a baby during Jessie's backstory, it hit me deep.
I can kind of see that one but not as much as the Jessie one.
so his mom was a kid in the late 50's? That seems right
In the first movies andies mom hair was brown.
Man Toy Story 3 is really good & deep
#bingers yes please do A Bug’s Life!
BTW that Jessie song, When Somebody Loved Me was sung by Sarah MacLaughlin
Looking forward to this!! This one is the BEST one!
You’re amazing UA-camr!!! You need 500K or more subscribers for being so funny!!! Keep up the good work!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🤗😌😌😌😌🤗
Omg i love this so very much. I been waiting for the next toy story reaction. Billy i love you so very much. You are literally my favorite youtuber in the whole entire world. You always know how to make me smile and laugh. I love your reaction videos so much. You are the best youtuber ever. Keep up the amazing and awesome job. And i also will always support you no matter what. And i always drink water every single day even when i watch your videos.
Confession: As a kid I wanted Woody and Jessie to be together because they were both cowboys/cowgirls so I hated Little Bo Peep on principle. And that's the same reason I refused to watch Toy Story 4 as a 22 year old. I still stand by this logic, fight me
Oh girl same. I was so glad when she left the franchise and then toy story 4 happened 😩 but you should watch it its so sweet
Aren’t they like………related
Your logic is bad and it makes you an asshole. Get over yourself.
Also Jessie is like a sister to Woody so EWWWWWWWWWWWWW YOU'RE GROSS
@@the-NightStar Sorry nope. 5 year old me decided they were soulmates and I stand by that. Peep had to go
13:40 That would be Jodi Benson aka Ariel in the Little Mermaid.
I vote for finishing the Toy Story movie reactions. The last 2 movies have are great too.
My favorite Toy Story is probably a tie between 2 and 3.
You should see the bloopers for A Bug's Life. That was hilarious as well. #bingers. Oh, you mentioned it lmao
I'm so glad you reacted to this gem of a movie! If so, I implore you to watch Toy Story 3 because it is a beautiful send off to the franchise #bingers
Billy this song STILL makes me cry
Yes, Toy story 3 and 4 are something I think worth watching. If the third part was mentioned, I highly recommend it to you and almost everyone. I think the message you are giving is very good. And the fourth part is an unexpected success. #Bingers
Im late as hell to finding ur channel but I definitely recommend 3-4 same goes for shrek you should finish the series
Happens around my hometown all the time. Expect it's called the street wide Garage sales since the whole damn block is full of nothing but yard sales.
barbie's voice is Jodi benson also the voice of Ariel in the little mermaid please do 3 and 4
My favorite Pixar theory is that Jessie's owner is Andy's mom -- Andy has this cowboy toy from the 60's, and Jessie's toy hat. They are hand-me-downs from his mom's childhood.
I got so distracted by that living single tshirt. I loved that show I still know that whole theme song. #bingers I’m still campaigning for The Visit
#bingers
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
there are 6 films btw this is the first one, you won't regret it.
One of my favorite franchises!
Billy: Do you still want cereal?
Me: casually shoving a huge spoonful of frosted flakes in my mouth...lmao.
Cereal can be breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My place is always full of different types of cereal
To this very day, I cry whenever I hear “When She Loved Me” it hits me in the feels.
I saw a yard sale the other day. Got to drive thru the suburbs
No wonder Billy is looking so good no cheese puffs and Raisin Bran?
Thats why he's built and I'm a full circle
find you a few days ago and I'm watching a lot of your reactions, love it, if you didn't react to the new toy story, you totally should
You KNOW I cried during jessie’s segment
Meanwhile me trying to watch these first two reactions before the Toy Story 3 one, theory that Woody used to be Andy's fathers toy, the Voice For Jessie I believe is Joanna Lumley who was also that woman in The Addams Family Values. Oh man another slept on movie I need to remember if I saw a thumbnail on if you may have reacted to it or not, she also does a misplaced voice in Klaus
I miss Pixar Bloopers
"get you some friends that are willing to go to war for you" also be the friend that is willing to go to war for your friend.
That blooper brought back such great memories, honestly the first one is a classic but I think this one is my favorite
