Wow! I remember when I took my MECP about 25yrs ago, through Best Buy Co. When all the big sub era was at its high, the big 18" with Fosgate cheater amps. Good memories. I dont think in my time we had MECP Advanced yet.
I put 2x2 tube under seat mounts and hybrid fiberglass mdf box and got about 2.6 cubes out of it and dropped in a BL12 NEO from Fi Audio, Taramps 3k. She bangs baby!!
Is that in a Ram too?
I can’t wait to get my spacers guys! I’m so glad you guys made these! I was considering welding a bunch of washers together until I found you all. I was also gonna cut some mdf and make my own spacers but you guys have it together! The spacers I ordered are the last thing I need to finally put my subs into my ram 1500. Can’t wait!!! I’m excited. I hope they still give me enough room because I had to cut some 1/2” ring baffles so my subs would fit my box without bottoming out.
I put 10 inch woofers in my Ram 1500 under the seat paired with a 1200 Watt Skar amp, but I didn't have to put any spacers in to have the sub box fit.
thanks for the great tips!
Sure made the decision for subs a whole hell of a lot easier!
Glad to hear it!
Just received the spacers this morning, can't wait to install them. Replacing my clarion slim 10s for skar vd-10s. I may be putting an order in for your full width amp rack in the near future. Thanks again!!
Glad you like them. Thanks!
Great vdeo, invest in a light, nothing but darkness!
If you guys want to pimp your setup, figure out a way to keep the flip out package trays. I know cost is a factor, but there are subs that require less air space to make the box a "little" smaller. There is also room behind the seat to make more air space. If you have to remove the seats for install I don't think people would mind to be able to keep the package trays...
Our product doesn't require removing the seats permanently. We are just raising it up a little bit.
hay iv got a 2005 dodge dakota quad cab and im trying to find a box that will fite under the seat and i seen your vid on the lift kit's and you sade the kit's are 1 1/2 right? measured for a box that wood fit wood need to be 6 to7 inch's in hight your kit's if my math is correct i wood need to of your kit's to lift by 3 inch's to get a deth of 6 inch's
How long, wide and thick are the spacers?
Hello, I appreciate the detailed video. My question is how tall is the lip where the carpet starts, it looks to be about 3.5 or 4"? I'm trying to get an idea how much excursion my woofer can travel without excessive contact with the seat bottom if I purchase this box. Thanks
The front lip of the box is 3"
Would it be possible to just add a few washers in between the seat and the floor? I have a 10 inch kicker comp.
You can run one of our Low Boxes for that sub without having to do any sort of lift. You can do washers but I wouldn't do a whole lot of them.
Hey im sure the box sound great but i want something that will also be loud as well (Like really loud) i have 2 12" rockford p3s on 1500 watts rms i have them in a regular mdf box with 1.25 cubic ft each side ported and it bangs shakes everything, but im tired of having one seat up, so how well will this do with SPL ?? with my same set up??
Your setup is that loud because it is ported and there just isn't enough airspace to do a decent ported box and have it perform like we expect a ported box to perform. Our box is 1cuft per side sealed and we have a ton of customers running well over 2000w RMS in our boxes and they hold up great. So instead of ported, you can just run some real high power on some 12s in our sealed box, and they sound great.
Glad I found this video I’m kind of confused. I’m trying to install one 12inch Kicker RT under the rear passenger side. Do I still need to lift it? Sorry if this has been asked before I skimmed through comments and didn’t see the same question
The seat lift isn't determined by what size subwoofer you have, it's just about what box you use. If the box gets the subs too close to the bottom of the seat for you, then the spacers should give you more room.
@@paulmorgan3790 ok got it thanks! I guess I’ll find out in a few weeks when my box arrives
Just finishing up my install what are the factory torques for these bolts....crap they were in tight
Gary Boyce I'm honestly not sure. They are tight as crap from the factory, so we just always get them as tight as we can.
Nice product do you have something for a 2015 Toyota tundra crew Max to mood forward put forward about 2 or 2 and a 1/2 inches?
Sorry, I do not. But it is on our list of things to look into. We're just so busy right now with Ram orders that it's down on the list a bit
Is it the same deal with the full bench seat how you can fold the back seat fowerd it would work the same way as it does with the split bench seat?
Exactly the same procedure and the same look, just no middle spacer to deal with.
Cool! Looking forward on ordering one
I have 2 kicker comp a and the are rubbing the seat bad. Some of the surround looks like it was sliced with a knife can you buy just the lifts and bolts from you?
Yeah, that's what Kickers do. Those ribs on the surround like to wear out quickly if they're close to rubbing on anything.
You can buy our spacers here.

What type of box is it again? I have a 05 ram 1500 quad cab and I need the spacer kit and where I can get it. I have the full bench seat. Thanks
They are NET Audio boxes and spacers. You can get them both on our website, www.netaudiowf.com
Hey Paul, just got the spacers and my truck, a 2017 Ram crew, has 13mm nuts with studs as well. New design? I’ll have to look at modifying the spacers I guess. Just something to look into.
I have not seen that. What are the 13mm holding? The folding tray? Are they on top of the metal bracket?
Just unbolted the seats and it turns out those 13mm studs are pressed into the bottom of the seat bracket. Not the floor. So they lift up and remain with the seat legs. They do NOT interfere with your spacers, and yes, they were for the folding trays I removed.
Good, glad that's what it was. That's how they've been since 2002, so that was a bit of a surprise if they were different. Glad you got it figured out.
The rams are prone to get soaked where these spacers go. How well or should i say, how long will they hold up considering they’re made from MDF?
I'm aware of the water issues, what Ram person wouldn't be. I would assume it would be a potential issue because MDF and water just don't mix well, but I've never had someone complain about it. We can make them out of plastic or metal, it just greatly adds to the cost of the kit.
Who makes those impact drills you were using?
Paul Cruz Those are SnapOn guns, they are awesome!
Are there any safety concerns if the truck gets into an accident since these spaces are wood and not metal?
I honestly have no idea and have never claimed to be an engineer in this case. In my mind, the seat belt is what holds you into the truck, and the seat belt is attached directly to the truck and not to the seat. We are using the same grade bolts to hold the seat in, just taller up, and the seat is still attached to the back wall with the stock metal tabs. So I don't know what affect a wreck would have on them, but I've never seen it as a major concern. We can easily make them out of steel, but the cost will be nearly 4 times higher.
Would this tall be able to handle my lvl4 dc 10s im looking to build for my 14 ram cc
Absolutely, no issues there at all. More than enough room for those to fit. We even have a new Dual Tall Ported box that would work really well for those subs.
Will this fit a pair of SA-12 D2 REV.3- Sundown Audio 12" for a full non split seat? If so where can I purchase the box and spacers?
Those work great and slam in our Dual Tall. And any of our Tall Variations come with the needed spacers
netaudio.com/product/2009-2018-dodge-ram-crew-cab-sub-box-dual-tall/
Get a bigger impact. I have that one and it wouldn't break the bolts loose. My larger one had no issues at all.
My air impact will get it, but I like my small electric. Ram just gets those bolts super tight!
Paul Morgan you’re right about that! The rear bolts aren’t easy and I don’t have anything for that... I was saying I use my heavier duty battery Milwaukee impact
When I first got into 12v I started with harbor freight tools to get through. As time passed I kept upgrading and worked with a lot of tool brands. I can honestly can say Milwaukee has power.
You can run 12 inch subs in the normal size box right i ordered the skar 12s wirh the normal skar 12s box
I'm not familiar with the Dkar box, how it fits in the truck or what subs can fit in it. Sorry, not going to be much help for you.
@@Netaudiowf can your 12s fit in the normal box without the high rise
@@haydenshores9943 Depends on the 12s. If they're full sized 12, you're probably going to want our Tall enclosure that requires the seat lift just to get you the airspace those subs will call for.
@@paulmorgan3790 okay so you think I could do your normal rise box not the high rise but just buy the raisers for the seat
@@haydenshores9943 No, I think you'll need what you're calling a high rise box for 12s. The Low one will not work well with most 12s unless they don't wall for a lot of airspace.
How much are the spacers for a ram 16 crew cab?
Does the fold-out tray have to be removed, or will they allow the tray to remain?
If you're installing a subwoofer enclosure, the trays are going to have to be removed no matter what. If you're just raising the seat, they don't HAVE to be removed, but they will have to be reworked to work like normal after the seat is raised 1.5".
@@paulmorgan3790 thank you
I have a 2015 ram bighorn And will like to get those brackets for the back seat
With a Big Horn, I am assuming that you have a Crew Cab and a 60/40 back seat. So it should be these spacers.

@@paulmorgan3790 Thank you
@@tump1966able No problem. Thanks for the order!
Is possible to retain the fold out tray with the seat lift and the low box???
I don't have a design that allows you to keep the fold out trays. I know it's possible with certain subs but it really limits the airspace that is available.
So in theory with a sub that has a low enough excursion it just might work but I'll have to hold my tongue just right???
+Mustured10000 The excursion isn't the issue. Our Low Boxes are 1.5" tall on the front lip. If you get rid of that height you are taking away airspace and mounting depth. You would be limited to 8s or very few 10s with around .3cuft of airspace. Not much can work in that environment.
But I want to do a sear lift and the short box I,thought the short box had .8ft3... Is that still an issue
+Mustured10000 If you did the seat lift the trays still wouldn't clear the top of the Low Box. The seat bracket are a is about 3/4" lower than the bottom of the sub box front lip, so the seat lift would have to be around 2 1/4'' tall and that would keep the seat back from latching into place. And that would just set the tray on top of the box with no room for the sub. And to keep the trays functional you would have to extend the floor bracket on the trays so it could still touch the floor to support it. Alot of work.
Due you make tall boxes for 12s L7s for 2015 ram??
We sure do. Our Dual Tall Boxes work great for 12L7s.
What’s the price for it
(2) Rockville W12K6D2 V2 12" 4800 Watt Car Audio Subwoofers Dual 2-Ohm Subs Would these fit in your box and how do I order box and spacer kit for these.

Is there enough space behind that seat for 8in shallow subs?
No, sorry. There's barely enough room back there for some amps.
Thanks for the response
@@roachocinco60 No problem. Sorry it wasn't good news
No worries bro I’m just trying to figure out how to get big bass without doing a blow through
@@roachocinco60 You can do some big subs under the seat, but a big ported box bass like you would get from an SUV is really hard to achieve in these trucks.
Can you guys make spacers that are 2.5" lift?
We can, but anything over 2" and the seat won't latch to the back wall.
@Netaudiowf so with a 2" lift on the 5th gen crew cab the seat will lock still?
The seat won't damage the subs
DaSaintz29 No, the seat won't damage the subs, at least normal subs. 10s stay away from the seat bottom very well but 12s can get a little close on the back of the box towards he back wall, but the seat still won't hurt them. The bottom of the seats are just loose carpet, so nothing to worry about. And if you are concerned, some grills are never a bad idea.
Yes they will. One of my subs blew cause of it which is why I got spacers. Rather spend the $30 on spacers to save myself buying another $300 sub.
How come you didn't provide a link to the spacers on where to order them?
I don't remember why ew didn't add the links originally, so I just added them. Thank you for pointing that out. And here they are for you, too.

How too u secure the box DOWN??
We normally don't secure our Ram Boxes. There's not really a need to. But you could if you wanted. You can either run screws through the bottom of the box into the floor, you you can do brackets on the back of the box to the floor. Lots of ways that you can attach it to the truck.
when a snap on 14.4v wont get it out its fucking tight.
ps do you guys sell just the spacers and bolts? im looking to ad a lockbox under my 2013 quad cab but need more room.
Man you're not kidding! Those have always been ridiculously over tight. Never understood why they thought they had to be like that.
How can I get1 of the shallow
What do you mean "the shallow"?
can you guys make a ported box??
Gustavo Arroyo We can, but it really depends on the subs. It's very limited on space so we're normally limited to a single sub using the whole box and porting it that way.
Paul Morgan oh ok. so let's say I wanna put a single sundown x8
Where can I get one of those boxes at
And what type of woofers can fit I have type R
I need to order the spacers how much gotta website
the spacers you show in the video look like metal and look really nice but the ones on your website are mdf and look like crap. did you change them?
Eric Turnpaugh We've never done metal because of the cost of making them. They have always been 1 1/2" of wood and have never had any complaints. Been doing it that way for around 14 years so far without any issues.
