Hardest boss fight I’ve faced makes no sense and I beat the final boss😂😂
Man I literally just rage quit on this and you uploaded! What a king.
For people who are struggling on this boss and want a much easier fight: just stand in front of him on dry land with the dragon hunter katana and a great shield. Target his head and just spam your fully charged katana attack which is a decently ranged damage swipe attack. With summons and plenty of FP pots anyone can easily do this without having to master the art of fighting on horseback with no name locking.
Edit: make sure you upgrade it to at least T9 with smithing Stones!

This one took me forever cause I kept trying to lock as a mostly melee build, and feet cannot be target locked like other dragons, so I cheesed him by luring him in that tight valley, shredding him with Pest Threads when in melee range, flying swoop missed more often and fire attack was less frequent, and he would reset if I kept going down the valley, giving me a chance to rebuff while he comes again. I just came back to this game after 2 years and remembered why I love how it makes you think creatively :)
I literally didn't know this boss was optional. Also pulling it to the other side of the arena where there is no water makes this fight way easier

This entire section all the way up to Bayle is one of my favorite things in gaming.
You skipped the swipe attack… it’s the only one that matters here since it auto lock and the drake does some unfair gliding movement so it can hit you with it. Once you are down from the first swipe he usually do another one right after before you can get up and escape.
In the full fight he got lucky the boss didnt spam swipe his ass.
I saw like 1 swipe and he ate it lol. I guess it was a ez fight but it doesn’t represent what we normally encounter.
elden ring is game of RNG then actual movement memorization and skill
this boss is a nightmare but what your winning after is worth it
Terrible design fight takes forever and one double swipe with some weird ass gliding movement and it’s over… it’s all about luck at some point in this fight

@@Welshire01he's right though, it's terrible.the boss is standing on water because they knew it would do additional aoe, you sometimes get hit from stuff not appearing on your screen. The damage it deals is stupid but even if we put this aside. What's even the point of this fight? It's basically lansseax but they changed its name. They knew damn right this fight sucked and let it be optional. At least bayle brings a bunch of stuff to the table

I went in on my ng+ pyro build using flame fall upon them and aimed for the head only using torrent to cross the arena when the dragon flew away. Worked so much better than throwing the messmer spear the first few times.
For me, I just straight up run through Senessax's belly with Torrent, and give its foreleg, hindleg, and tail a hit each, then turn around for another one. You don't even need to avoid its lightning attacks, because by the time it spread, you already at the hindlegs, and the lightning do not reach there. So basically you're jousting with a very very clumsy dragon, that will be a nightmere to fight if Torrent weren't by your side, so praise the god damn majestic creature, Torrent is true friend.
This was the roughest boss fight for me personally, he would have no wind up before he would turn around and attack you. I would be behind the dragon and all of a sudden he hits me and I’m dead.

Dude I’m with you. Beat Messmer first try and this dragon has my fucking number. If I get hit once he stun locks me. I really suck at the fights with gigantic enemies. Too much time adjusting camera

I fought buddy on my feet with a great katana and like 6 fragment levels shit was painful
Just beat him after 50+ tries I started with torrent and kept hitting his leg with the katana and bought him down to half hp then used my summon and let it tank the rest and kept repeating after a long battle he went down
There is an easier strategy with no hits. You summonen Latenna as far away as possible and just run around the dragon. Make sure that he is focus at you and circle him. Latenna will do the work for you.

Man I beat Bayle but not this one. The legs hitbox is just too slim & wobbly for my Starfist
You can also ride around in circles and just keep shooting at him with sorceries, incantations, and/or arrows. He'll hardly ever get close enough to hit you.

Not a too difficult fight. The dragon hunter katana is a life saver for this questline.
What I did was basically used torrent to bait out moves and quickly create distance. And when I hopped off this a charged attack on the katana ash.

bro where is the radahn guide, I literally cannot beat him even with the two npc summons and with mimic tear
If the summons are outside of the boss arena it gives the boss more health. I locked myself out of the NPC summons so I don't know what kind they are, I beat him with only mimic tear after like 10-12 hours of attempts, wasn't fun, felt nothing after winning.
@@jaweshoe the only reason I am using summons now is to distract him from my bleed cheese method
@@MrRandomLame99 yeah that's fine just know that if they're the type outside of the arena fog gate summoning the NPCs will give them more health, if they are inside the arena fog gate they don't give the boss more health. I just don't know what type they are because I locked myself out of them.

This boss is literally litch dragon fortissax but white instead of black.
He has a lot of different attacks tho, and no deathblight
by far the worst "boss" of the dlc. all dragons in general are hell to fight, camera is a mess, fire breath hitboxes are unpredictable almost entirely.
This might be the worst Elden Ring boss. It's gonna be pretty inoffensive to those with summons or magic, but without it this fight was harder than Midir, (numbers wise). It's near impossible to hit his head, so you're simply meant to sluggishly chip away at his legs or wings. I never used Torrent, (BIG MISTAKE LOL), so I was subject to his random bullshit lightning. I'm using basic swords only (doing strength only run, no buffs or anything), and it's been by far, the least favored way of playing throughout this DLC. Watching clips of those online playing this game, I've never ever seen people doing what I am. Definitely kinda sucks feeling funneled into a different playstyle, but nonetheless, I've finished it all with just my shitty sword, yippee. I think most of the cracks with these new bosses are gonna start showing in Lvl 1 playthroughs people do.
I found Bayle way easier than this guy 💀
