    Would like to have seen this video a few years ago. Your comment that the repair shop is quite expensive is right on. I used to pay just under $200 for everything shown in the video. I can do all that myself and only have to pay for parts replacement. Great video. I have a Toro CCR2000 4.5 HP purchased in 1998 for $745. I've paid for it in Toro service repair more than 3 times over. With your great instructional video I will no longer pay for those services.

    Thanks much Mark for the in depth video presentation. I was ready to go spend $100 to have some tech do just that. Keep up the great work!

    @stephanpatko The fuel filter is Briggs & Stratton part #394358S. It is the same filter that is used on most Toro snowblowers.
    Thanks for watching,

    @MrRmh3481 those pliers are pretty cool huh? They are made by Blue Point which is a Snap-On brand. I purchased them from my local Snap-On dealer.
    Thanks for watching!

    Hi Mark, thank you for this very informative video. It's done step by step very easy to follow in fact I watched it once and serviced my CCR 2000. It starts with one pull however it seams and sounds like It is starving for fuel, wonder if you could help! Keep up the great work! Thank you.

    @MrFerrariman1 Toro has always used the one piece filter that we show in our video. I haven't seen one with a removable filter element before. That is a great idea though and if located correctly, it could really make the tune-up procedure much easier.
    Thanks!

    I checked the filter-it was clear-the unit still only runs for a few seconds from the prime button & then stops.Do you have a video or any information on doing some r&r on the carburetor??

    Very Helpful. Is there an air filter that needs to be cleaned or changed?

    • @FIXTechGuides
      @FIXTechGuides  9 років тому

      These Snow Blower models don't have an air filter because they aren't used in dusty conditions.

    Where can I find those fuel line pliers your using?

    hello - what is the p/n and cost for the fuel filter & spark plug on the toro snowblower tune up video? also I need the primer bulb cover - it fell apart. thanks.

    • @FIXTechGuides
      @FIXTechGuides  8 років тому +1

      +John Hampton The Plugs usually run from $2-$6.00 depending on the quality and manufacturer and the fuel filters around $-$3.00. These and the primer bulbs are usually very model specific. You can see the prices on line or if you'd like to write back with the model number from your blower we can check it out for you.

    I have a similar snowblower. It starts and runs great for about 15 to 20 minutes then stall out, have to let it sit for a while then will start right up. Has me stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

    • @FIXTechGuides
      @FIXTechGuides  8 років тому

      +jordtizzle That's puzzling! When it stalls, have your checked to see if it has spark? On occasion the
      Spark Coil will get hot and not produce spark until they cool. Another place to look would be the Carburetor. It may be getting hot and causing it to Vapor Lock and then works normally after the motor cools.

    Be careful when you remove the control panel don’t pull it up like you do the cover or else you’ll rip out your ignition wires like I did

    what cause the toro snowblower run full speed?

    • @FIXTechGuides
      @FIXTechGuides  6 років тому

      Hello, I own a Toro Snowblower and it runs at high speed all the time. If yours has a control cable connected to the carburetor, it may be worn or stretched and it will need to be replaced.

    Does anyone have this problem, The snow blower starts easily, the engine runs well while warming up The Augur engages with no problem. However, the engine stops after the augur meets anything other than a little resistance from the snow. The engine just dies. It restarts with no problem and the cycle repeats.
