    From the Hot Racing help desk- Well done! We appreciate good, educational videos as our parts rarely include instructions. I have subscribed and will be looking for more vids to refer our customers to.

    it is very interesting to me! do not unscrew the adjusting bolts during a long ride and shaking? is it possible to lose them?

    Good instructions on how those work and how to tune them. The real question is: Are they q performance upgrade or eye candy?

    • @upgradedrc3697
      @upgradedrc3697  3 роки тому

      So far i have just 1 run on them. But, i did everything i usually do on the same trail and i got over a couple obstacles a lot easier than before mostly due to the extra clearance. No problems yet, they work pretty good.

    I've been watching your episodes before getting my hands on mine, did you managed to upgrade with another servo and use both the dig and 2 speed with the dx5c, you could show us that 👌
    Keep up✌

    • @upgradedrc3697
      @upgradedrc3697  3 роки тому

      I have not, I removed my dig servo and don't plan on using 2nd gear. So i won't need another servo, but I will Bind with my DX5C eventually, but like the DX3 for now.

      What exactly are you trying to do with your DX5C and on what vehicle? Maybe i could guide you in the right direction as a start anyway. I'm sure i'll be making a video on aux options. But not sure when.

    Did you have to do any adjusting to the panhard bar? I installed 100mm shocks and the whole axle get pushed over and limits travel more on one side.

    • @upgradedrc3697
      @upgradedrc3697  3 роки тому

      Yes, I adjusted the panhard bar 2 turns out on each end. and adjusted the links out 1 turn. Sorry I didn't mention that, but everyone has different circumstances. And the turns out I just told you worked for me, Not everyone. And because the SCX10 only has 3 links on the front axel It will always want to shift to the passenger side.

    Dang, looks like Hot Racing no longer offers the the piggyback in a 100mm. Really trying to avoid $60+ Prolines for the Gladiator. Any suggestions?

    I got treal shock towers and pro line pro spec rock crawler 105-110 mm shocks for my scx-10 iii JT.... do you think it will work or should I have went with some 100mm shocks

    • @upgradedrc3697
      @upgradedrc3697  3 роки тому

      110mm is pretty big. I got 110mm first, then took them back and got the 100mm. Anything larger and you will be adjusting or replacing links and steering set up as well as your trac bar adjustment.

    • @ashtonpowers8563
