So the main thing is, you’re gonna get a lot of wheels scrub with whitening and this is an issue on the front end so if you have the stock servo that came with the vehicle you’re gonna need to upgrade it. Wider wheelbase equals more stress or notservo and all the linkage for the steering. Especially if you have portal axles. I put extensions on my TRX four, and after running it and doingRock crawling I have found that the service starts to heat up and loses 80% of its power in very little time. It is the stock servo.
Thanks, i didn't get any wheel scrub. My Gladiator is not stock by any means the links, suspension, axels, and portal have all been heavily modified and yes I am running a Reefs Raw 500 servo and a Holmes Hobby BRXL ESC with a BEC and i never got any scrubbing even with the stock S614 servo.
I see alot of other types but i like the style your using best.what are you using for tires?and anything i should upgrade right away like servo?thanks so much for your videos, couldnt live without them brother.
I got these from my local hobby shop, and i know that they are having trouble getting more in right now. But i have ordered parts from RC4WD directly and had no problem. Sorry this is being so difficult for you. Ya, I looked a couple places for you and everyone says they are discontinued.
I might do some upgrades to the 24, but I still have lots lined up for other builds at the moment! If you want a sticker, Give me your full address and I will send you one. Right now I only have red, white, and black. Let me know which color you want.

Sorry, they are no longer available. But , I've been telling everyone that the hot racing ones are pretty good also. you need the 15mm spacers. let me grab you that link.
It's an RC4WD set of bumpers for the trx4 lol. And it took a couple of extra parts and a decent amount of modifications to make it work. There will be a video on it soon.😁🤟👍
Good morning sir just wanna say I watched your videos like 20 times lol man to be honest you're the most detailed & honest person on this gladiator review with excellent camera 📷 & explaining tutorial... but I definitely got one question on the 15mm wheel spacers can you please tell me if these are the same ones?
@@upgradedrc3697 thank you so much man I'm doing the 11t pinyon swap tomorrow morning just like your video 📹 😀 thanks a bunch again plz plz keep doing what you're doing man. I appreciate it 🙏
You put out some unintentional Misinformation with the spacers. There 15mm wide. Not 15mm “wider”. You forgot to deduct the width of the stock hex to determine how much wider it is over stock. If you take the new 15mm and subtract your stock let’s say 5mm hex width hex , your now only 10mm “wider” on each wheel over stock. Easy mistake
@@upgradedrc3697 i tryed with both stock tires n wheels and b f Goodyear mud terrain t/a tires and a set of beadlock wheels neither set would work without serious fender and skid plate binding when turned to the inside tryed relocating shocks and increasing shock stiffness to no avail?????

Good job explaining. I feel like I could invest in a crawler and have lots of fun, by the way I am 70 yrs old.
should link the parts in description!
You should add the brass portal covers, what a difference.
I will be doing that soon. Thanks for the info
Thank you ❤
Thanks for the video, I've been searching for a channel that can help me with my gladiator, and your it!!! Thank you!!
Thank you, more to come. Installing a 1250kv 550 15T 5 Slot Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster Sport motor soon and a Reefs 422HD servo install coming up!
Nice mod I just picked this rig to add to my lineup. This is a def improvement I’ll be doing this 👍🏼

Man I love your videos! I’ve been out of r/c for years. I just picked up a Gladiator the other day and your videos really help!
Very Nice! greetings from Brazil!
Weight gain of the wheel spacer, PLUS the 2 washers and the new bolt. So quite a bit more weight gain.
It helped out a little bit, when i added the brass diff covers i really noticed a difference!
Travis, you mention that you changed the bumpers; can you tell me what kind. I’m hoping to install a Warner winch and would appreciate your thoughts.

My tires change constantly. But I like the Hyrax, the pit bulls, and the super swapers the best. It all depends on your terrain
Keep watching all the upgrade videos in order. That how I decided what parts were necessary to replace and in that order of priority.
