Hey Trevis, I recently discovered your channel. I am a BIG fan! I think your videos are the most information packed and informative videos on the subject of RC cars and trucks. Keep up the great work and THANK YOU!
I put in 10t with 10turn Holmes crawl-master sport 40$ and my bronco is INCREDIBLE. I am debating on locking diffs though. I can’t find a lot of info if people prefer it in crawler or not
Good series but I have to ask where did you get the 11t from? I can only find a 13t 48dp as the lowest. For a 11t you need a 32dp. So not sure where to get one from for a 48dp.
I put an 11 tooth and it was good with the 1800 fusion. But now ice got thr 2200 axe and it is so loud I'm worried it's hurting something. Should I go back to the 14 tooth
You could try running the 14t, but I don't think it will be any more quite. The motor is just loud. But make sure the gear mesh is correct or you will do so damage.
Sorry, I'm not sure. i just asked for an 11thooth pinyon for the scx10iii at my local hobby shop. i guess it depends on what motor you have. mine is stock.
@@upgradedrc3697 havent seen much on it. thought itd be good. having the higher speed for walking trails, then the low to crawl. love the videos by the way, awesome job
I don't have a link, it was something i found in an old discontinued box of parts at my local hobby shop. But, the part number is Z-S0434 made by RC4WD Good Luck!

Smashed the like when he pointed at me 🔥
Great video as always Trevis!
Thanks brother, I appreciate that. Just released another one 20 mins ago. #2
That servo wires touching the motor can scares me bad with my luck I would melt them and short all out

My hobby shop had one
Axial AX30722 MAX-D EXO Pinion Gear 32P 11T Steel 3mm Motor Shaft, thats the one you need man
nice video but you should mesh it with paper so it's not too tight
I usually do, but I have kinda gotten the feel for it also.😎👍🤙
@@upgradedrc3697 oh yeah that's good man

How do you adjust gear mesh with a bracket like that?
@mg90q61 You select the corresponding hole with the size pinyon you are using and put the bolts in the holes.
@upgradedrc3697 thanks. Great video
Very good video. I would of added that it would be a good time to use motor spray and clean out the motor and lubricate the motor bushings.
Ya, good idea. But, mine only has about 30mins run time lol. Thanks for the comment.
Hey Travis, After fighting for about 15 minutes I got the Allen screw out but now I can’t get the pinion to budge. Any thoughts.
Did it spin on the shaft or is it just locked on?
Great video. Is the 11 tooth pinion 48p or 32p? Any chance you have a part number? Thanks. 👍
It's a 32 pitch 11t Pinyon gear from RRP, sorry I don't have the part number .

It's 32 pitch. Sorry no part number
Why can’t you flip it around so the wire is on the opposite side??
You can, it's just the way I wanted to do it.
Motor shaft what size..? I need to upgrade my pinion gear too..

@@upgradedrc3697 thanks for your help.. 👍
have you done the two speed trans upgrade? i have been debating on giving it a shot
I have not. But I bet it would be cool.

Thank you, I am building a VS410 Phoenix right now with 6% and 33% overdrive. So maybe that will get me into wanting a 2 speed for the Gladiator.
@@upgradedrc3697 will let ya know if i do it before you. have to replace my servo for the dig feature, went bad. just gonna use that one for the 2spd
What bumper is that
The front is an RC4WD bumper from an scx10ii renegade, and the back is an RC4WD off a Trx4 lol
@@upgradedrc3697 I can’t find that front bumper, could you possibly send a link? I love that front bumper and it would look so good on my gladiator

@@upgradedrc3697 how do you mount that bumper? I was looking at doing one but with the 10.3 having the hidden clips it doesn’t look possible.
