What a treat to listen to you and to watch you work, clean, gentle and successful. I start in Pouring so I’ll use the varnish later in association with the medium. Dutch Pouring will be part of my first experiments, I like the "abstract figurative". merci (avec Reverso pour la traduction)
Fantastic tutorial I love the shine in this paints and the Polymer M & Varnish at an amazing price ...beautiful art you always create thanks and congrats
great results, QUESTION: would the creative inspirations gloss varnish self level if poured instead of using resin, and why dont you just varnish the finished painting with the c.i. gloss varnish? thanks in advance for your advice!
Thanks for the very informative tutorial! I love this technique. It produces such delicate, transparent results. Also...my auction art arrived today! Allen's art is beautiful! 🥰
Hi, congratulations on your pints and channel, dear do you recommend SOHO acrylic pints? do you get cells with them, they have great shine but look so plastic , please let me know, thanks
They are both so beautiful. Can you tell me approx what your Paint vs Creative Medium for the colored paints pls? I just purchased some of the Creative Medium and very excited to use it. I generally only use Floetrol, which is usually 2 parts Floetrol to 1 part Paint depending on the thickness of the paint. Are your Colored Paints as thin as your White? Thank you, loved your video.
Hi, Christina! For this pour method, you are using the Varnish with just straight paint and not paint that has been mixed with Floetrol and Elmers? Thank you!
So pretty! Very nice :) Do you normally not use water in your pours? What do you use instead when you want a thinner consistency? Also with the polymer varnish you used here, is the finished result glossy enough that you don't need to add a top coat of varnish? Thank you again for inspiring!
I never use water in paint pouring paints. Only in my basecoats. I use Flood Floetrol to thin them down. Even though it is a glossy finish, I still coat to protect from dust and grime.
Ha Christina so when I go on jerry's site and put in the soho paint it doesn't show the colors is something i'm doing wrong? I will get some if that varnish to try as well anyway another thing I learned thanks sorry to be a pest!
here is the direct link for the Soho colors www.jerrysartarama.com/soho-urban-artist-acrylic-paints and here is the direct link for the medium/varnish www.jerrysartarama.com/creative-inspirations-acrylic-mediums
Thank you for this one Christina!! My question is, what size small cups are you using, how much paint was originally in the cup? And WOW the musical one turned out so gorgeous! So did the two you did in this video!!
3 ounce cups with just a squirt of paint, no measuring needed. On the white 1 cup white and 1 cup medium/varnish as stated in the video. I have dutch pours for the rest of the week.....lol
Hola Christina, dónde puedo comprar Creative Inspirations Polymer Medium and Gloss Varnish, en España? o es posible que lo podamos hacer con floetrol más gloss varnish?
I’m just wondering.. can we add glue and water with the color i want to mix it with? Is it able with heat and stuff? Uhh kinda confused about the stuff in this video haha
if you don't mind cells, you can use Liquitex Pouring Medium or glue all, Gac 800, any pouring medium, just don't use straight water unless you are using a super high quality paint.
Gac800 is just a pouring medium and aides with cells when using silicone. Since it is so expensive, I didn't use it on this pouring. Gac800 is also great to prevent cracking and crazing.
Nice! I love those blue colours!

Knowing when to stop is the key to painting most projects
So glossy and creamy. Pretty Dutch Pours.
That is absolutely beautiful..
Fantastic tutorial I love the shine in this paints and the Polymer M & Varnish at an amazing price ...beautiful art you always create thanks and congrats
That blue painting is beautiful
I love both! Excellent Christina! Think of mixing this varnish wit water as Jazz. Jazz breaks the rules! 😘
I love that blue one! And the warm colors on the second one were so lovely :-)
Interesting varnish. The blue one is my favorite of course. LOL
Absolutly Stunning!

Since it is a medium it will not level out. I prefer Liquitex Gloss varnish to finish my paintings or Stone Coat Art Coat Resin. Both are archival.
Thank you Christina❤️👍❤️
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful ❤️😍 ❤️.. looks like a great product.
Thanks for the very informative tutorial! I love this technique. It produces such delicate, transparent results.
Also...my auction art arrived today! Allen's art is beautiful! 🥰
Wonderful!! We are always here to help if needed.
hanks for another great video, can you mix this medium with Floetrol
I would only mix with some water on this one because of the gloss shine.
Hi, congratulations on your pints and channel, dear do you recommend SOHO acrylic pints? do you get cells with them, they have great shine but look so plastic , please let me know, thanks
I love SOHO paints. It's not the paint that creates cells, it's your medium and additives. All acrylic paint is plastic.
Thank you, loved your video.
on a dutch pour yes, I use paint, medium and water, no floetrol.
Hi, Christina! For this pour method, you are using the Varnish with just straight paint and not paint that has been mixed with Floetrol and Elmers? Thank you!
equal parts paint and varnish and water to consistency. No floetrol or glue
If you don't like using water you might try air brush medum. thins well but does not delute paint.
that medium is way too expensive. You'd need more than 1 cup per batch. This worked out great with no cracking or crazing.
Beautiful. 🥰Did I miss the video on how you mix the color paint? I can’t wait to try this.
Same way Brenda. On the Dutch Pours we don't use the paint pouring paint, just this mix. I showed how I mix the red.
Oh I see now. I was in bad reception and it skipped a couple parts. Thank you 😃

The blue is fantastic to me the red I like but not as well as that blue

Hola Christina, dónde puedo comprar Creative Inspirations Polymer Medium and Gloss Varnish, en España?
Would a Dutch pour work using a black base paint?
I haven't tried on yet, but others have. Check out Smart Art Materials channel.
Which white do you use? Thank you!
Creative Inspirations Titanium White
Do they change much when dry? Gorgeous method!
they are beautiful and shiny, no change
And are you using the usual acrylic paints? Sorry to keep asking questions....
Yes Kathy, I used Soho Urban Artist acrylics.
do you put floetrol in it, I mean with the varnish
no just the paint and medium/varnish with water.
Beautiful painting. How much paint do you put in the cup?
Just a squirt, you don't need alot for a Dutch Pour.
I’m just wondering.. can we add glue and water with the color i want to mix it with? Is it able with heat and stuff? Uhh kinda confused about the stuff in this video haha
yes, you can. You want the paints to be thin.
Is there another product we could use besides the polymer gloss medium and varnish?
if you don't mind cells, you can use Liquitex Pouring Medium or glue all, Gac 800, any pouring medium, just don't use straight water unless you are using a super high quality paint.
Gac800 for no cells is what I use. Am I missing something?
Gac800 is just a pouring medium and aides with cells when using silicone. Since it is so expensive, I didn't use it on this pouring. Gac800 is also great to prevent cracking and crazing.
