trick to lining up dead on every time on older model clusters is put power to cluster and thay line dead over the needle stop u set it then put needle stop on
Why not put all the needles in when the car is off that way you’re not guessing where the needles are supposed to be you’ll just know everything is at 0
Good tutorial man! Im working on my 2.5i 2006 impreza cluster and ran into a few things. Seeing if you have any advice. Speedo needle came off fine and is working. On my Tac needle the shaft ended coming out half way but was able to catch it before it came all the way out. Its still works but shaft feels alittle loose and can be moved in and out and sticks alittle. I tired prying out the gas needle but the shaft/pin came all the way out! So I pushed it back in, but it seems not to move. I removed the temp gauge with first method since I was able to grab shaft from back. Temp is working but it drops a bit too low when car is off. I'm still testing some stuff and I'm not worried if I broke them or if i have to replace the motors. I needed the needles off to remove green film on back of faceplate on stock imprezas so red led show brighter. Thanks for any help brotha!
Hey guys. I am looking at swapping a 2004 STI cluster into my JDM Bugeye WRX. I want the cluster to be blue however, does this work with JDM 04 STI Clusters?
What do you do if you get sticking needles? It seems as if they're sticking only in certain spots and less over time (its been less than 24 hours) but is there anyway to correct this, without having to replace the motors?

They have a video on the STI clusters. Look up same title but with 04-07 wrx/sti instead of 02-07 wrx

@@Corvilux how did you fix it, I tock the needles of, worked for the revs but the speedometer gets a bit stuck still
