I purchased this reel the moment I watched your video about it and how light it was. Certainly was impressed by it's weight but when took it out to the water I was getting nothing but backlashes after I realized that I had just over spool it with fishing line. Once I got rid of the extra line from the spool and adjusted the brakes little better now it casts like a dream!! Highly recommendable and for people that are having a little trouble please don't give up, keep tweaking it, you won't be disappointed. Thanks for all your Instructional videos!! I really follow them and Learn from them lots!!

I received my reel some months avo and i must say that i LOVE this reel. It is light, strong and casts even light lures very well. Very smooth too. Best value for money reel you can buy in my opinion.
This is just my two cents take it as you wish I own several of these carbon reels.
First take that fluorescent ski rope off of that lightweight reel. I don’t know what weight that stuff is but it looks like it’s about 20 pound test your throwing I could be wrong. put some 10, or 12 on there and take it to a fence or the bumper of your car and stretch about the first 60 yards of it so it will get rid of that spool memory , then turn one of the centrifugal brakes on then set the external adjustment on 12 to 14.
I cast quarter ounce bates 40 yards with mine on a medium 7 foot rod. I’m just saying … I’ve never had a backlash and that’s with mono.

I bought one and I was so impressed by the way it cast that I’m buying another one soon. It feels more different than any reel I have. Feels odd but in a good way.
I did not mention that i fish mostly with my cintrifical breaks all off and the magnetic breaks on 18 to 20. NO noises at all. Must say rhough that your white one looks stunning!! Awesome channel. Love your content as your advice works even here in South Africa.

Hey brother, thanks for the great content. Has the reel thumb bar engagement ever acted weird for you? Out of the box it gave me a few hiccups, not sure if it just needed to be broken in. Haven't used it in the field yet, but curious if it ever felt inconsistent to you. I agree with you, the spool is really smooth and free, I can pitch ned rigs easily.

Do you find flouro casting farther than a smooth 8-strand braid with same setup? I have gear that goes between kokanee trolling and casting spinners for steelhead and have never gotten a straight answer on which casts the furthest. I was disappointed with the braking system of the KK Speed Demon Elite as well.

It’s a good looking reel
I’ve had 3 of them. All with the same issue. The centrifugal brakes engage themselves during a cast. Customer service is GREAT but my experience with all 3 of the XCS reels has not been good. It’s a good reel as long as i finesse my cast. Any time I cast for a little distance I’m cut extremely short by the brakes.
I bought 2 of this reel and they both have a grindy retrieve
Hello, thank you for the videos! I think in order for centrifugal brakes to work properly, they have to be turned on or off in pairs exact opposite each other. Is this not a thing anymore?

Mine buzzes too, but for how light the reel is and it functions okay with a decent drag, all for 40 bucks, what’s not to like.
I'm good with complexity and opening that plate. I'm good with cheap reals I have to find out the line cuts into the side of the spool.
This reel looks really good, do you think it would make a good BFS reel....?
How does this reel compare to a higher end reel like a Shimano Curado? If I'm looking at one of those reels, is this one worth considering?

Picked one of these up turned into my new jerkbait reel super light weight helps with the fatigue and casts amazing for the price. Not the smoothest but for the money I don’t think anything comes close

If you think it is an awesome caster now (which it is) try a set of RORO spool bearings in it!,
Why does this reel look so good for the price? 😅 just got one in 8.1 gear ratio! That plus only being 5.5 oz I'm planning on making this my top water baitcaster
Can a drag clicker be added to this reel guys?
Bought this reel after watching the video. It will cast a mile but the retrieve was gritty and very hard to turn the handle. I returned it thought about getting another one but it kind of seems to me like a quality control issue so worried about the next one having issues as well

@@John-rambo84 yeah wasn’t impressed with those either. I will definitely be sticking with Shimano from now on for my baitcasters
All new reels still need a drop of oil on the spool bearings. That reel would cast an additional 20ft if you did that.

Doesn't change color from the sun?
But is black better in terms of color use?
Ive heard some bad stuff about the white color, i think it fades overtime but i have the black one and its still good

The noise from this reel sounds like an imbalanced spool to me, there also seems to be some gear noise when you retrieve your lures, which would concern me! Cheap doesn't always pay. Good YT vid 👍
The reels all come dry as popcorn. They make noise till you oil them a couple times

Excellent casting video. How is the drag? Overall smoothness ? Sounds like the bearings may be dry, have you tried filling them ? Overall value vs something like a Shimano SLX …..is the Shimano worth the extra $40 ? Etc etc
another extra 40 and SLX XT you cant go wrong with and im sure is far better than both SLX and XCS
Great video man! I own a few Torrents, Alloy Ms and the new Torrent II. In your experience from testing all these higher end offerings from Piscifun reels does the XCS cast farther than the Allow M? Thanks and Happy Holidays!
My allow m can bomb pretty much anything. I can throw a strike king bitsy bug with trailer half away across a small lake. Not literal but you get the point
@Mark Brown thanks man. I love my 2 Alloy Ms and they are by far the farthest casting reels compared to the original Torrent and an extremely old Shimano Star Drag I still have. Picked up the new Torrent II as the specs looks awesome and they are even lighter than the Alloy M so have those rigged up on my 2 new Jerkbait rods I picked up all on Black Friday! Haha. Can't wait to test them all out in the Spring. Happy Holidays!

All good reels,the Alloy M is the best , Spark pro second and this third.
XCS a very good all rounder and solid build quality.Internally it's a tank with a superb strong drag.
The spark pro a very smooth casting reel and excellent on the light lures.
@@chepachii Thanks for the feedback. I have 3 Alloy M's and they are by far the best reels I have in my Piscifun lineup. I have a bunch of Torrent's that are my work horses with 7:1 gear ratio's vs the Alloy M's which are my highspeed 8.4:1 ratio reels. I recently purchased 2 Torrent II baitcasters as the weight savings and upgrades vs the original Torrent was too good to pass up and I got them on sale during Black Friday week. They are also in the 8:1 ratio's as I do a lot of Jerkbait fishing from Spring to Fall and need the high speed reels to bring in line after working my jerkbaits hard with my rod. All the best for 2023 and a great fishing season!

Why do people fish with a R/H reel? You cast with your right hand, then switch the rod over into your left hand... WHY?? Just purcahse a L/H reel so you can keep you rod in your right hand!
