I've had this reel for over 6 months now and I'm quite impressed with it. Smooth drag, gear and solid overall with good casting distances. The lower profile also provides for great palming. Only 'issue' I would say is the thumb bar is quite hard and takes a bit of effort to press.
Have you noticed how the Piscifun Alloy M and the Ardent Summit Hawk look almost IDENTICAL except for the massive Price difference. It even has 12 magnets for braking like the Alloy M.
This is one of my favorite reels. I have other reels from Lew's and Daiwa that I like but I seem to always end up picking up the Alloy M. Glad to see I am not alone in my evaluation of it.
Frankly I've also been exploring the China market reels lately and just bought 2 more reels by SOLOKING namely the Hiaw 200 and GKA200T. And I have to say that I'm quite impressed as these 2 reels are pretty smooth and uses NMB bearings in some key areas, and it comes with default drag clickers too and at a very affordable price range. I've only did some casting with it for now and I can say it passed with flying colours. I'm not much of a BFS kinda user but you might be interested to know that they have some BFS specs reel and the Soloking Acura looks pretty cool. Think they're also rebranding their reels as DOVIELLO in the US market.
Great review, I find this reel with the strong braking awesome once dialled in for accurate casting light lures into tight corners etc.Very strong drag, in all honesty probably a bit of overkill for such a small reel.
I would not use the alloy m for bfs, or pitching/skipping light lures. I would use it for frogfishing, chatterbaits, swim jigs, punch rigs. This is usually a bit heavier type of fishing and the aluminium frame combined with 12 magnetic brakes makes it perfect for that.
Hi mate, How has the alloy m held up to the heavy weights? I was looking at one for 1-3oz lures but wasn't sure if I'd be better off getting a 300 size reel. Thanks
@@jackbassett1773 hi, holding up pretty good, i still use it on my frog setup, paired with a falcon rod and 50lb braid, zero problems until now. If you plan to use fluoro i would recommend you a more pricy reel, for example a Shimano Curado, cheap but smoother and more accurate, it will save you money on fluoro. For braided line applications the alloy m is ideal i would say, bot pitching/punching/flipping and long casting
These reels are currently like $70 you cannot beat them for the price. I have 3 of them and they’ve been beat up and still work great. I have a few shimano and a diawa(never again). Shimano is definitely a nicer reel. But these reels are great and stand up to abuse. There my go to now.
I've been hunting Light powered casting rods, like 1/16-5/16 range rods, but had a ton of trouble. There used to be a Tsurinoya Proflex 6'3"L and a few others, but I cannot find them now. Do not want a true UL, that is why I hunt a Light fast action or even a stout enough UL fast action. Any tips?
I bought the Alloy M last September, it's now one of my favorite reels, easy to dial in for blowup-free casts. Now I gotta try skipping (once the ice melts in MN). Thanks for the tips on brake/tension knob settings. Good review!
Just picked up this bad boy for $61 with their discount on their site, heck yea can't wait to try it out. Figure it's worth a shot, probably end up giving it away but i can have some fun with it first lol.
@@MF-Rell I bought two slx xt’s. One 7.4.1 and a 6.3.1 . Love them! It was a good choice lol. I have a piscifun reel, and the side plate want open. I want buy another piscifun bait caster. lol
Hello boss ! What aliexpress rod would you recommand between 7-28g to go with this reel ? Thank you for all the time and effort you’re putting into these vids.
I know you’ve got the alijoz in the 5.8.1, can you check the handle knob and see what size it is? on the 8.1.1 it’s a 7x4mm, I upgrade all of my handles, and i’m not trying to buy the wrong size.
I wonder if anyone knows what's going on with the ShengHe LingL? I got mine now, but apparently it was (one of) the last one(s) shipped out, since then all offers have been deleted from aliexpress, the situation kinda creeps me out..

This is awesome and not often talked about enough. Awesome channel dude 👊🏻🔥
Made my day seeing that you uploaded sweet reel
Ive had one for 6 months. It's a very good reel and smooth operator. I'll be getting a second this winter!

I don't have this specific reel but I have a few Piscifun reels and all have been great considering the cost.
Got one too. Very good reel, paired with DMX pista casting

Due to your channel i bought one alloy m,.. hopefully will arrive soon,.and maybe will make a review too. keep it up for the awesome video..
I bought an Alloy M LH 7.5 with coupon a few minutes ago and it was even better! $55 delivered. That is the greatest deal of all time
Where did you get the coupon

Great Video my Friend and you should absolutely do a “how to” in skipping Lures with a Baitcasting Reel lol very impressive.
Very good reel, I use it for big baits (3-4oz) Easy too

How would you compare size with the Shimano curado

Bonjour, pensez-vous que ce moulinet conviendrait à des leurres entre 30 et 60gr s'il vous plaît ?
Merci 🙂
What is thé recommanded lure range use ?
Really nice review!👌🏻
Alloy M or AG STX 4gen for $103?
Thanks
How does this reel compare to the Spark Pro for casting light lures? I need something to pitch and flip weightless wacky rigs
Carbon xcs or alloy m ???
Great review!! I have several alloy m and love them. Only paid like $49 on sale day at their store at AliExpress. Amazing...🤩
yeah, and another company is selling pretty much the same reel for $230
How has this reel held up over time for you?

Major Craft makes a ton of L powered rods
I have this reel I use for salmon and musky I love it!!!
wow.. definitely harder fighting fish than bass
I got one I love it can't get better for the price

What would be your preferred current CDM/AliExpress reel for perch fishing - from 4g Ned rigs to 12g jigheads with the odd crank bait in between?
Should I get this real than spending big money on Shimano? I love my slx 150 a
Slx xt all day.

I learn quick

Tsurinoya proflex 3 amigo

Great reel for money. I really like the handle and the reel cast as good as my high dollar reels.
I have this reel for stripers. Solid reel
Ive only caught a handfull of small stripers but I know they fight HARD. Way harder and more intense than bass.
What line are you using
I own 2 great reel. Want to get carbon x new one sold out
I wonder if anyone knows what's going on with the ShengHe LingL?

well I heard a new version was coming out, or it could be the current geopolitical situation is affecting it
Hello. Is the Piscifun Alloy M have a plastic thumb bar like Kastking?
yes, but most thumbars are made of plastic
I bought one on Ali for $60 and had a $7 Honey Gold coupon and got it delivered for $57
After some digging it appears as though the Ardent Summit Hawk may be the exact same reel...msrp $229
The summit hawk is way better then the alloy m. There’s a reason for the price difference lol
@@jordanelsholtz1515 what are the differences?
Paint, handle. Maby material choices threw out the reel, and bearing quality. Basicly seem to be the same reel in my opinion or atleast the same molds
These have been lowered to $50 on their site, and if you buy 2 and use the 20% off you can get them for ~$40 a piece right now.
insane price for these reels right now
How would you rate this compared to the Phantom? I'm happy with my Phantoms but wondering if I should had an Alloy M to the collection
The Alloy M is much better than the phantom in my opinion. The aluminum frame will also help the reel run smoother longer. I like the Alloy M much more.
@@cjsfishing1494 How do they compare casting and pitching if you don't mind my asking?
the Phantom feels like a good "chinese made" reel. The Alloy M feels like something a mainstream brand would offer.
I love your channel! And your love for God. Keep up the good work brother!
I love my alloy m!!
Waiting to see what it can do ... :)
Alloy m is the best bait caster for a weekend fisherman! I have 2 and they’ve handled very large king salmon in the PNW!
I just bought 2 for 39 dollars a piece😳great reels should’ve bought more I like to flip and skip them
That reel is the best reel for you money go piscipon
Does anyone know which reel is referred to in the video that is the same but under a different brand name?
someone in the comments section figured it out
seen this guy cast literally hundreds and hundreds of times. But never a fish. not a single fish😂
Why would you buy a right handed reel and not a left handed, if u cast right handed
Not sure I agree with the detailed good looks. Appearance is kind of cheap.
