I had to subscribe as I’m Nora too LOL! Love those placemats once they were put together, and just gotta have those busy collage fabrics you showed at the start….wow. I looked up the website which I’m excited about, but will keep searching, won’t give up that easy! Blessings to you my friend!
Hi! I hope you had a fun day! I spent my day in my sewing room getting a big project done and now I get to sit and watch your video while I make yarn. I hope you have a fabulous week ahead. Thank you for posting this video and sharing your positive energy.
Really beautiful placemats out of odd print fat quarters. They came out stunning with the black and white prints and the black binding. Thank you for sharing!
Norah-Those placemats look great-everything looks great paired with different black/white prints-can’t go wrong and the log cabin would be a darling baby quilt! While babies do gravitate to Bl/Wh for some time-once placed on top of colorful quilts they reach out and are stimulated by the color blocks too!
I had my doubts when you first started, but I loved the first one you did. I also really like the one you put together. They both were nice. I love the colored strips with the black & white. Very striking. The placemats do look awesome as does the log cabin quilt. Thank you for sharing…love everything you made today!
I really love the quilt top! The colorful strips make me think of the I Spy books that my kids had when they were young. Great job combining the colors with the black and white! So fun!
You said it. I feel the same way. If I put my meal on that place mat it would ruin my appetite. Worst of all what hurts is you ruin all those beautiful fabrics. Try doing all the placemats from one single fabric print.
Love it all! I was secretly hoping you would cut the placemat tops diagonally and pair with a solid or something. The inspiration you got from the process sure made that baby quilt just adorable. I think my mouth dropped open 😲 when I saw it!
Nora, The placemats are great when they got all finished! I love the log cabin baby quilt top! It’s super colorful!! My May’s projects for the month are placemats and coasters. It’s so cool that you are doing just that in your video today!! I’m going to use the pattern pieces for a guide for mine! Thank you so much!
First time I've seen your website. I love the placemats,Really like the colours. Can you buy the fabrics in the UK? Will watch out for some more videos.
You are very creative! A baby would love the color and brightness of that quilt. I can’t believe you’ve been quilting such a short time!
I like them ! Colorful and “ funky” which I like. Love the quilt ! Linda
Nora, the placemats are great. The baby quilt is just plain GORGEOUS! Love it!

I'm amazed by how quickly you put things together, such as the baby quilt.
Those are gorgeous & im drooling over the log cabin quilt!!!!
The placemats, as shown at the end, the 1st and 3rd are my favorites. However, the log cabin squares are FANTASTIC.
Your favorite is my favorite! It would be a great quilt build .The black totally pulls it together! Frames all of them beautifully.
Love them and they would make a great baby quilt too. The log cabin quilt is so cute. Thanks for sharing your idea.
I'd love to have these placemats on my table! They are fun and practical. The quilt is really cute as well. Have a happy day!
Wow! Nora! You knocked it out of the park!!! Love both projects, but, that Log Cabin quilt is G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S.!!!
The placemats look sharp, but the baby quilt is amazing!!!

The coloured fabrics are fantastic - perhaps make them the main single colour and the blacks as the accents instead.
I really love the quilt top! The colorful strips make me think of the I Spy books that my kids had when they were young. Great job combining the colors with the black and white! So fun!
This project turned out great! I really enjoy watching you work thru these, making your choices along the way.
Oh yes I like the log cabin blocks as well, you are very refreshing to watch
I love them. Very creative. So much better than just one print.
I do like them, I think the black binding pulled it all together.

I like the 1st half of the first one and the second one needs more color and less black. I think.🧐
The busy prints would make a great I Spy quilt.
Love it all! I was secretly hoping you would cut the placemat tops diagonally and pair with a solid or something. The inspiration you got from the process sure made that baby quilt just adorable. I think my mouth dropped open 😲 when I saw it!
Love the first placemat and actually all of them. Don't second guess yourself. Awesome
Love the log cabin baby sized quilt top. The placemats are nice as well.

I would make a table runner out of the fabric.
That’s beautiful

Very cool. I'm inspired :)
Beautiful
Thank you
Love this - but I don't see where you put the cutting dimensions of your pieces. Can you add those?
Thanks! I say the dimensions out loud for each piece of the first placemat.
Very nice
