You can maintain the curls by pulling them to the top of your head with a satin scrunch, into a pineapple, and use a silk or satin scarf to cover the braids in the front.

Well nourished, moisturized hair. Love the style and the products that you use. I will be purchasing some of your recommendations. Always look forward to the tutorials. And if you hear of any specials on your recommended products -from liquids to flatirons- please post updates. I am dying to buy the ferrum flat iron, however, the cost is quite hefty. i used to have my hair styled like that when i was little...the front part braided and the rest curly and free...i dont do it now because i dont know how to do braids really well, but you can do the same hairstyle twisting the front part instead of braiding it...thanks for the tutorial, it looked beautiful
