    Hey Rich and Kate, sorry to hear about your troubles. Glad you were able to connect with Chris and Rich. Just goes to show you how great the biking community is. I once rescued a stranded biker in much the same way. I rode home got my truck and trailer and then took them to the dealers ship for repairs. Take care and safe travels. Dave

      You summed it up Dave (Just goes to show you how great the biking community is.) We have a great community for sure. Rich and Chris are among the best. We had several ppl respond to a post on FB. The phone calls and texts, emails, etc. just amazing. One person took off work to come to our assistance, and others let us stay out there homes while waiting to get the bike fixed. We are grateful to be a part of the biker community. I know the ppl you rescued were truly grateful as well. Thanks Dave.

    Well, well, finally see Rich & Chris alive and well but on a different channel!!!! Earl eh? On another note, I was having my scoot fixed (under warranty) and saw a blue scoot, thought of Jet Blue, and told the salesman I'd be back as soon as I got mine home. So I have Pokey Blue instead of Jet Blue 🤣 and NO, I'm not calling her that!!!!!
    I just glad it wasn't something more serious to cause a delay.

    CLUTCH??? I've NEVER seen a clutch worn out on a GL1800. Most Honda dealers can't fix anything on a Goldwing, past oil, air filter, brakes, tires. They won't take the time to use the factory manuals and special tools to diagnose a problem, just start guessing and changing parts. A very expensive way to tackle a problem on a G/Wing. Good Luck!

    • @BootsandJeansRiders
      @BootsandJeansRiders  7 місяців тому +1

      Neither have we. I know people that have over 200k on their wing and never had any problems with the clutch. So true about the dealers, fortunately we found a specialist and we are back on the road.😊

    I can understand if someone really needs to use the restroom NOW, but to block the roadway in the process is very inconsiderate. Probably the same type of folks that park in the emergency vehicle area in front of the store, because they think they are so dang important. They also park in the handicap spots, when they are not handicapped. Yeah, the rare occasion when a Honda breaks down, Harley riders like to laugh. But the reality of it is that I see at least a half dozen Harley's broke down on the side of the road every year, just in this area of TN. I haven't seen a Honda, Kawasaki, etc broke down even once. Bummer that it happened to y'all, but at last she wasn't riding somewhere alone at night in the boonies. Glad y'all found help.

    • @BootsandJeansRiders
      @BootsandJeansRiders  7 місяців тому +2

      They were really inconsiderate...Kake went inside the restroom and asked them to move to the parking stall.
