great video ! only thing i don’t like is waiting for everyone else to catch up lol

  • @KrakensGarageandAdventures

All very solid points. There's one thing I've learned, all bikes have their warts. I think this is a great video for folks considering purchasing a GW to understand what they're getting into.

  • @Motoramblings

All great points! I love my Wing, but you’re right about some of these little things…..

  • @StevyFaux

I have a brother that lives in California, he has a gold wing, he calls it Big Easy, he said that he doesn’t like the way the air filter is hard to change, the finish on the bike isn’t all that great, the trunk opens the wrong way and that the bike has some plastic on it but I know for sure that he loves his bike even though it has the same problems as your. I don’t know how many miles yours has but my brothers has like 130-150 thousand on it so maybe you don’t ride yours as much as he does but you’ll get there someday…..😂. Love you guys.

Naaaah, that's too much to clean or replace the air filter👎🏿😮‍💨. There are a lot of dislikes, but it's a great bike all and all!! Great video Rich!!💯

  • @richthereturnrider6737

Got to agree first of all of the trunk opening position. Can’t believe they continue that design for the 6 gen. Next is the air filter access. Great video Rich.

  • @nasaunders

Thank you for your opinion. It is well-supported. I was surprised you did not mention the seat removal and reinstallation process. It is unnecessarily difficult as you must be very delicate.

  • @HaveMotoWillTravel

Spot on Rich! Another pet peeve of mine is that the luggage isn't easily removable. It makes cleaning the bike more difficult.

  • @johnanderson9735

I agree! Every bike I have owned had something I disliked. The Wing, yes the air filter is a bear, it I made sure to plan other work while I had everything apart. I did the air filter a few months ago, and changed the coolant as well as clean up some wiring that was not done the best when I installed it. I made my service task productive, and reminded myself a few times during the task that I saved the cost of labor doing it myself.

  • @MiddleAgeRoadRage

Great video guys. We love the gen 5 Goldwing and we’re really surprised on how many of the same issues plague the gen 6 . Thanx for sharing your thoughts on the gen 5 .

  • @karenwilliams3141

Great video, you hit the nail on the head, the Plastic is... well you already know. but I love my F6B "Jet'Blu" it's all SMILES and MILES and oh the memories. but the things you have to move to turn the radio on HAHAHA! just kidding just push the button.

  • @s.s.goldwing9797

Great information Rich most of the points you made is the reason I like my classic 1500 S.S. Goldwing 😄

  • @vasu925

Appreciate the information. Sticking with Harley for now.

  • @HerThreeWheels

    Good video 👍👍👍👍

  • @christophersmith5116

Besides the Air Filter replacement I honestly can't think of one dislike about my F6B. Yea... the Stereo is pretty weak as I have upgraded mine. Will be looking forward to more Vlogs from you & Kake! Say Safe out there and Stay Black.

  • @bobbywilliamson6139

Harley all day my brother 👊🏿💯

  • @CorventureDave

    Ay Rich.

  • @pureblood2020

Time for the new wing my friend.

  • @craighanesworth262

Absolutely correct on all of your points. Especially the air filter. Still great bike but not without its flaws

  • @TennRides

The way the trunk box opens would drive me nuts, too. On my Voyager it opens sideways and I love it. I had to laugh at your description about taking half the bike apart to repair something that has nothing to do with what you are trying to get at. Man, I can relate. I always joke with GloChix about how the first step in opening the gas cap is removing the front tire...hahahaha.
