    I knew there was a Goldwing only shop down there somewhere just didnt know it was available short notice. thats great they got it fixed for you and you won't have to worry about the quality of the repair. Nice to have people wherever you go ready and wanting to help, just remember good people attract good people..........................................JB..

      Thankfully they are specialists. We knew them when they were in California. A friend reminded us that they moved to GA. They had several bikes ahead of us but they took us in because we were traveling. And yes…no worries about the quality of their work.

    I am so glad you FINALLY got some satisfaction at Wing Nut! I was so happy to see you spending time with Rich and Chris, too. I've been a follower of them for a while as well. With a new clutch in Jet Blue, she'll be good to go for another 150,000 miles. Ride safe. Ride well. Ride often!

    I'm glad y'all got the bike fixed in a fairly reasonable time, it could have been a LOT longer. I'm always amazed at some of the folks I meet on two wheels when so far from home. I agree, the biker community is second to none, and fine folks like you two, are part of that community. I loved Cake's, "Who Dat?!" Uh huh y'all from Loo Z Anna alright. Hahaha. I pray that y'all have a safe, blessed, prosperous, healthy, and Happy New Year.

    Sorry about the $$$ but happy you got Jet Blue going again. Good to see Kake doing the happy dance again!!!! And yes, the biker community is not understood by most non-bikers. We harass each other for riding something different but there when you need a hand. Kinda like brothers from the same mother do. Cruising, on a Sunday afternoon.....🎼🎵🎶

      One dealer had never worked on a clutch before, so we didn't trust them. Another wanted $2600, before even looking into the bike. So we went to a specialist that only works on wings.

      the problem with the goldwing clutch is that it is right down in the middle between the trans and the engine, major teardown and nobody want to do it cuz it would cripple their shop until they got it done.........good thing is they don't fail that often..

    Man, oh, man, quite an adventure with the breakdown. Really cool you were able to get it fixed, and meet all kinds of cool, biker, loving people…. I myself Ride Harley Davidson ultra classic. Have been pretty lucky so with maga miles…. The reason I stick with the brand, should I have a breakdown there’s a Harley Davidson dealer on every corner, and I can guarantee the bike will usually be fixed that day, and if not within a day or two regardless of the breakdown.

    • @BootsandJeansRiders
      @BootsandJeansRiders  6 місяців тому +1

      Yeah, we had a bad /great week lol. Unfortunately, this was Thanksgiving week, and all the dealers that could fix it were talking about at least a week. One even said a month. There are plenty of power sports in the US and we never had a problem finding one. But Gold Wings rarely break down.

    • @jameslee5428
      @jameslee5428 6 місяців тому +1

      Breaking down on any holiday while road tripping is always a bad scene. Regardless of you bike ride it’s the people out there that you meet that are doing the same thing. I have met so many cool people out there on the road, it’s the memories you make along the way. Anyways, keep those Gold Wings on the road, soak up as many miles as you can, and enjoy life to the fullest. PS I really enjoy your channel. If you ever make it to Southern California, give me a shout out we can all hook up and ride 😎😎 Peace out👍

    Rich a buddy an i were on road trip back during summer when clutch on his 02 Wing with 320,000 miles started acting up we replace the clutch in the hotel parking lot. Even a Wing has trouble every once an a while 🦾💯

    • @BootsandJeansRiders

      WOW 320k miles before the clutch started acting up. That says a lot about the reliability of the Wing. The greatest thing is that you were able to fix it.
