@@VagabondBuilds They drove 3. Both of the in-line 6’s had problems, the PHEV had no problems. The Mazda engineer confirmed a problem in the first one they drove. It was making an unusual noise under load. When you’re on throttle a harmonic vibration emanates from under the floor board. It feels like it is not free revving. It feels like there is a parasitic drag on the rotating assembly. They said they are not sure if it comes from the mild hybrid assist system or something in the accessory driveline. It sounds like a supercharger whine but not in a good way. So Mazda provided a second CX90 and it’s doing the same, but not quite as bad as the one they test drove in California. If you just putt around town you don’t notice it, it is only when you lay into it that you notice. Single clutch, not torque converter, first model year, who knows what’s the problem, but they say it is concerning. The inline 6 should be really smooth, so it’s not likely it is the problem. ua-cam.com/video/VZ-yR_Ryjk0/v-deo.html
Is very nice looking just make sure you have an extended warranty any work do you do on it you have to drop the engine not cheap once the warranty is over they going to be ridiculously expensive to fix
@@VagabondBuilds extended warranties are nicely cost a lot of money on top of that the fine print that's a lot of things they don't fix and on top of the extended warranty you got a fork out money for the repairs to hahaha 🤣🤣🤣 I know I've been dealing with cars for years
@@VagabondBuilds what makes the repairs so expensive for this one something as easy as a fuel pump water pump timing belt basically anything you do on that car you have to take out the engine even an extended warranty is going to be so expensive for that vehicle not all cars are like that not even the other Mazdas just that one had really bad engineering

That's why I drive a Lexus you don't have to worry about extended warranty and the resale value on it is crazy high
