I remember my first few failed runs at the 4 puppet phase that one of us didn't go close quarters and we ended up in a proyectile barrage, but recently it seems that they now understand for the most part to not let a puppet alone or at a long range attack to not have random proyectiles and drain the 5 lives on that phase, good guide.
I have an extra tips for players (like me) who always always forget to switch back from floor potency weapon. You remove all PAs from palette. So when you see an empty palette, you will be reminded that you forgot to switch back to your main weapon. Also, although most potency stats will not carry over to cannon phase, your food buff and region mag actually do carry over.
One thing to add to the mobile cannon phase is that there is another way to dodge the homing explosions mentioned at 23:17 without losing yellow bullets: If you're not in a position to just walk out, you can jump over them.
22:35 That is pro gamer move there! 25:24 Thank you for noting that fake down, it ruined my first run (and I am pretty sure for many other players as well) Great job on the video Crit! Even though I cleared the quest multiple times I still found this video enjoying to watch. I think average dps needed per person feels like 8k at least. Anything lower than that will result in a time out. The good news is that, mobile cannon phase is about half of the run. As described in the video, it is not dependent on your potency, but potency floor matters, and I strongly recommend slayer players who uses potency build to build a spare +80 xover pot 0 no fixa weapon with floor potency augments such like Dread Keeper V and Mastery LC and deftness IV, etc. I would recommend all capsules but alts secreta IV in the video though, because damage resist does carry over as well. Personally I am using a deft triplble. They will be helpful to provide deftness AND damage resist for cannon phase, especially when some slayers do use guaro triyals. Also, anticipate how many slashes you can get for puppets after they dashed is quite crucial because after that you want to dash to opposite side as soon as possible for incoming downs on Dalion itself. If you play it enough times you will feel when a down is about to happen, and it is time to play aggressively in the front so you can have two extra slashes off everytime.
For the dash attack where you can sword slash If you are sticking to the very edge of the map (just walk back) it literally can't hit you and you can slash a bit earlier (start slash when it's in the middle of the dash) if you are optimized you can put 6 slashes Also, about the slash sword attacks you can just hold the button instead of rapidly clicking your mouse.
With Highael Domina or Highkvar domina, GDK and Exdi Deft on every unit and weapon, you don't need to change weapons. Your DPS comes from the number of sword strikes you get on Dalion's head. 14 total are possible. 14 is god-like, 13 is perfect, 12 is optimal and 11 and less are bad. After every 2nd add you should stay in the middle so that you can get to Dalion as quickly as possible to get the sword strikes through. 3 Puppet rounds are standard. With a 4th round only a little is missing if you have gotten enough strikes through. The remaining shots can be put into the puppets in round 3 if the core is open, as round 4 should only be short. Or you run Leciel over and over again. Shorter time, 100% success-rate and drops winguard too.
I definitely want to fight him pre UQ, the trouble is convincing my 3 other friends to try lol. One of them is always down but the other two is always a toss up.
Use Spiro (that one that cuts 5PP) Cutting resist here is quite dangerous due to the elemental type attacks Cutting HP may get you become too squishy and getting one shot if your HP isn't 100%
@CriticasterQ you can get a triple jump into the air above the fragments in phase 1 and 2 because for some reason it treats the fragments head/hunched back like a ledge which means it can only hit you with two moves while you're that far in the air that would be the hugely telegraphed lunge punch and the hugely telegraphed portal attack everything else will miss your character all the while you can just spam your normal attack with slayer and still hit the fragment and even the counter from countering the lunge punch and the portal attack will still hit the fragment while that far in the air this strategy makes the first 2 phases a ton less stressful.🤔🤨🧐
I believe the best way to tackle this quest is to have a set where: Your usual armor with massive potency Plus Another set with potency floor increases. I think he means 165 just to handle phase 1 and phase 3. This can be beaten with LCs, I know that for sure

You do the best guides. Excellent.

cant wait for the UQ variant!
Really good guide!
nice nice nice. need this
Is there going to be a dark falz for stia? Cause we got three of them now and we arent even off planet yet.

If you're on global ship 1, I wouldnt mind helping.
@@KayamaAi Nah Ship 2, but appreciate the offer.
u can wa/counter those circles
1:40 LC Augments ain't getting you 160+% pot. lmao
First also I almost beat DFD 3 times but randoms keep dying at the final phase lol
My randoms can't even get pass phase 1, nothing but fashion players dying to gameplay content
@@DatBoiRatchetYup some struggle with the current limited time quest
1:40 By using Triyal you mean ALL 3 Triyal?
You can all 3 but I wouldnt recommend using too many Guaro Triyals cause that could make you die too much
Use Spiro (that one that cuts 5PP)
Cutting resist here is quite dangerous due to the elemental type attacks

LC augments will not get you anywhere near 165 tho
I believe the best way to tackle this quest is to have a set where:
Your usual armor with massive potency
Plus
Another set with potency floor increases. I think he means 165 just to handle phase 1 and phase 3. This can be beaten with LCs, I know that for sure
LC augments AND triyals get you there
