they keep recycling that point based LTQ but they refuse to address how Ra is unbeatable in them because 20% of all damage to a WB spot goes to the Ra who inflicted it I think competing for points is fun even if they don't do anything, but that ruins it

Very useful for a f2p welfare build. Picked up some fun EX augs and slapped on some LCs. There's no reason anyone can't do this. In the most recent mission pass and dailies I think I have at least half a dozen LCS versions of these augs which are 100%.

I keep thinking that even if this game is released worldwide, it’s still being treated like it’s an exclusively Japan/SE Asia release. I’m not expecting Pokémon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, but the major share of these animes NGS is collaborating with, I haven’t seen an episode of and I don’t own a single manga issue.

What a shame It still feels like we're in a loop of 2020 with this game, repeats of "Limited time events" and "seasonals" as well as emotes/costumes for the whales to farm for player engagement. I used to be optimistic for NGS, and I used to love PSO2, playing it while it was still region locked to Japan I wish I could go back to the base game. Yeah, sure... People can enter the base game at anytime, but what's the point anymore if it's not being updated, and more people stay on New Genesis? Just this week, I decided to revisit NGS to see the Mars update, I was in shock seeing how they've left it untranslated on global release, that showed to me a lack of care and respect for this game. It was a rush-out the door. And I won't accept that from a company like Sega. They're approaching the release of their third Sonic movie, acquired Rovio, own Atlas. and yet they're still treating NGS like an afterthought? If that's the case, I won't waste anymore of my time with New Genesis. I'm glad I've moved onto greener pastures.

Unless it gets a big combat overhaul I doubt it'll be good enough. Not to mention it being primarily a gacha game with mmo just being secondary.

I have no clue what is going on at Sega but what I can say is, is the alarming lack of story content in this game, lack of gameplay, lack of new unique content overall after roughly 4 years is staggering. Base had it's downtimes but not 4 years of it nonstop. Sega needs to put most if not all of their resources into this game otherwise it will fail. They need to stop giving PSO2 the back seat or this will be another IP of theirs that will fall into obscurity. They try to hide it all with a Nintendo Direct style presentation and marketing collaborations but the evidence is clear that this is nothing more than a form of misdirection and Sega's level of overall focus on PSO2 has been negligent at best. I am genuinely worried for the future of this game.

Not surprised. The developers only understood social aspects sadly. A good game needs a good combat system. It’s critical to have good PvE or PvP. And like i was thinking 4 years ago, it was not their focus

The disrespect of playing As One in the trailer knowing we don't have keys in base game to play armada again... What has it been like 2 years since we got a new voiced OST? All the maps are bland blue laser tag ahh arenas, or literally a couple of tiles floating in the sky. The only explanation I can give is they realized NGS was going to flop and bailed out to work on a new project AGES AGO

I was an inveterate player of PSO2 classic and today I no longer have the patience to play PSO2 NGS, PSO2 NGS seems much more like a dress-up game than anything else, boring.
