Thank you for including demos with no EQ!
Wow prices are getting crazy for.drums.
The price actually seems low considering all factors used in determining a successful retail price (signature model, unique hardware, limited production runs, etc.)
I can’t get past that price, an instant turn off I’m afraid. It’s a big ask.
Almost the same price as other signature models
...and cymbals
Aside from being a gimmick - I can't personally see me using the three different strainers... Maybe in a studio as a quick way of switching between different sounds, but as a live drummer, largely pointless?
Also, £1k+ for a snare is bonkers - even if it does sound great at high tuning.
£1000+ for any Snare Drum is an absolute disgrace. No VFM at all. Yes it's well made, but it really is no better than the original 90's DC Signature Snare. I've seen it as low as £850, but I'd struggle to justify any more than £600 for this drum. Disappointing as I absolutely love my 90's SC signature snare and use it week in, week out on the road.
