2:20 Public announcement - do not let cars in because you think it's the "nice" thing to do. It creates a false expectation that ends up being more dangerous than otherwise
Damn straight.
Just moved back to Vancouver after living in Toronto for many years. The difference in driver skill is really noticeable, even though Toronto is not that great! Every day I encounter dangerous decisions by Vancouver drivers, like suddenly braking at a green light (at intersections where you can't turn), slowing down and braking to change lanes instead of speeding up, and general inability to merge onto highways.
I think a good idea for a channel like this would be to discuss proper road rules when you're showing clips. This can be an informative channel as well.
Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year to 2024! Have fun spending Christmas with your family and friends
Thanks for the compilation! Let's all try to drive a bit more defensively for the safety of (and to cause less hassle for) everyone especially over the holiday season :)
Agreed!
This video is a reminder of the importance of maintaining safe vehicle conditions and ensuring everyone's safety.
This video reminds us of the importance of focusing on driving and not letting our guard down for a moment.
Wow! GREAT video & I love your commentary.
So much scary stuff happening out there!
Merry Christmas and have a happy new year!
Thanks you too!
Can't wait to see what 2024 going to be like. Happy holidays
Thanks you too!

Thank you for increasing awareness and having road presence.
😇😇😇
Thanks so much!
Another year where im not in any of the videos! Hell yeah 😎
🏆🏆🏆
Thanks for your hard work!
As always, glad to not be in any of the clips 💥 🚙
Sad that the animal jaywalkers weren’t included!
Thanks for watching! Haven't had a ton of animal clips lately maybe they're all left because of the bad drivers :p
Your videos are the best! Love watching every single one of them!
You're the best!
Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year! Have fun spending time with family and friends
Great. Best part of the last clip is that you can see previous accident damage on that door, must not be their first time. 🤣
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video Thank you Vancouver Worst Drivers Dashcam, have an awesome Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!
Have an awesome Merry Christmas Vancouver Worst Drivers Dashcam, and a Hapyy New Year!
Yesssss we’ve been waiting for this!! 😁
Thanks for watching my videos over the past year :)
@@vancouversworstdrivers wouldn’t miss them for the world 😌
At 2:22 it is not only a bus lane but HOV lane as well. You can clearly see he has 15 people in the car. lol
Definitely haha
Merry Christmas!
Same to you!
Serious question. Do Vancouver residents just bribe the licensing office officials? How do these people qualify to drive in BC otherwise? Some of this footage is absurd.
I mean I heard about that happening a while ago....it does explain why our drivers suck so much lol
@@vancouversworstdriversit happens everywhere I reckon, bc we have the same incompetents in Australia
I'm sure it's common practice
Alot of wealthy Asians come here with bug for brains
Can’t wait for tomorrow Merry Christmas and happy new year
Thanks, and thanks for watching my videos for so long!
I ran into that scenario before. In Pitt Meadows on Lougheed Highway at Old Dewdney Trunk just before and after the Pitt River Bridge, and people were driving in the bus lane thinking they look like a bus, and are a bus which they are not! I wouldn’t let them in if they are not a bus, and let them be the problem here. If the cars weren’t buses, then that will be a different story! People just need to focus on the road signs and what they actually mean.
merry christmas and happy new year vancouvers worst drivers dashcam!! ❤
Thanks you too!
Awesome thanks for the 23 best of.
Thanks for watching! Merry Christmas
All good mayhem. In Kelvin's I bet the white Honda(?) didn't even know/care that he caused the accident
2:20 yes, the left turner was at fault. You can still use the bus lane if you need to turn right up ahead
Lsat clip, the SUV had a bunch of dents on the right side already before getting hit, not their first time obviously.
that poor japanese maple
Merry Christmas
Thanks you too!
Merry Christmas bro
Thanks so much you too!
Man 2023 went by fast
Agreed!
me and my dad came across a car in the ditch, flipped over and a dude still in it.. he walks down, talks to the guy, immediately gets back, drives to the nearest building (this was prior to cell-phones), calls the police to report a drunk driver crashing his car... will never forget the smile on his face. Dude was fine but was absolutely drunk off his ass.
4:18 That’s Batman driving back to cave. Disappeared.
haha!
I bet, drivers in Vancouver got their driver licenses for free :D
I had a massive tree branch fall on my car on November 11th of this year, and it was written off by icbc. That was a tiny branch, but it still sucks. W content
Wow! Good thing you weren't injured
Vancouver looking like the real life walmart life
@1:31 Was attached with Tie Wraps....
I like the first video. Thinking "How the hell is that driver driving like that?!", and then "oh wait, he's not. The car's just gone rogue."
As for the last video, I would just like to point out how much I hate the road design flaw when flashing green lights are used on a busy artertial (Knight Street in this case). The implication for drivers is unclear. Legally, you can cross the dominant roadway's stream of traffic against the traffic light's condition if you judge it is clear - but this is more like a trap, because on a street like that it is never clear (during daytime traffic anyway). 6 lanes of fast moving traffic and/or heavy trucks. Why not just eliminate that kind of light and put a proper normal traffic light which has a red light to clearly forbid crossing or turning left when it is not safe, instead of tempting drivers to do guesswork in the absence of one?
Although in the case of Knight Street, IMHO there should not be any side streets having access like that, from 57th all the way to Knight St. bridge. Take out all the cross street access on Knight south of 57th (or make them right turn only with a median), except perhaps one (61st) with a normal traffic light. As well, forbid any north or southbound left turns, south of 57th.
Thanks for watching and your comment! Merry Christmas
I think icbc will find the bus lane violation at fault or 50/50 cuz it’s icbc lol. In all reality the lower mainland already has a traffic issue they should be making more lanes not taking them away for busses only, at minimum make it buses and say 6 ppl hov
True they love 50/50!
these videos just make me never want to visit vancouer, and I thought drivers in toronto were bad
Just take a bus :p
If I was walking in the middle of the street and wondering why the sidewalk is so wide and there are cars on it I would soon realize that I’m doing something wrong
In Vancouver most likely it’s:
A) mental health issues
B) intoxicated on some sort of substance
or
C) entitled spoiled brat (why should HE have to move?! He was there first!)
Lol all of the above
As someone who enjoys running, I hate runners that blatantly don't follow traffic lights and rules.
Thanks so much for these informative and preventative lessons on how NOT to drive / scoot / bike / walk in Vancouver.
OR should I call them 'survival lessons'?
Both haha at least it helps new drivers predict what might happen. Thanks for watching my videos this year and merry Christmas!
It's one thing to learn the rules and know 'how to drive'.
It's another thing ENTIRELY to be able to hazard-scan and avoid being hit by others.
😑
I think most of these drivers need to pay some hefty fines cause they clearly can't pay attention.
My Xmas gift to you all: I'm not going to post a timestamp-riddled chunk of comments for half of the crashes.. lol (seriously, if a comment irritates you because it's laid out in a way you don't appreciate, but isn't factually incorrect, you have the power to keep scrolling)
Great compilation, and glad this channel is thriving! It was a good year for bad drivers. Or wait, no. Bad year for bad drivers? lol
Thanks for watching! Yes unfortunately the more videos I get the worse it is on the streets haha
@@vancouversworstdrivers On the other hand, the worse it is on the streets, the more videos you get! A strangely good problem to have.
@@RobDucharme hahaha people have claimed I'm benefiting from other people's misfortune
Hi Vancouver Worst Drivers Dashcam how are you today?
Good! Hope you enjoy the video tomorrow!
Avg driver in 2023
Definitely Stupid Overtake! That black car cut off the cammer in the roundabout in Port Coquitlam on Kingsway Ave close by where the Port Coquitlam Station for the West Coast Express is. People just don’t get it about roundabouts, so annoying, disrespectful, rude of them to do it, and don’t know how to drive properly! If they took a driving test and did that on the real test, then the person will fail big time!
Yes and they don't know how to yield!
The red car is the distracted one because he is distracted and drives on the median close by the pillars above the Skytrain line and wasn’t paying attention! Close call on that one, almost a crash. People need to take it slow and pay attention.
And How dare that guy was jaywalking on the road and wasn’t paying attention to the crosswalk whether it’s a white man or a red hand! Seen a lot of people jaywalking, and I just don’t care about it! One day, the person that is jaywalking will get hit by a car because of jaywalking and not paying attention tot he white man or the red hand!
Yup -_-
Har har har you should be a comedian with those witty narrations. Not sure whats worse, the driving or the jokes.
Only in the lower mainland!, this is a prime example of what happens when you get invaded by third world country's.
