I got into an accident in Richmond last month. I was trying to turn left on a green arrow, but had to stop because the cars infront of me were stopped. The guy behind me didn't agree and just ran into the back of me. He tried to insiste we were both to blame, saying I had to go on a green. I asked him how was I supposed to go if the cars infront of me were stopped. He just said "you have to go". Fortunately, my insurance company (in Alberta) didn't agree with him and he was found to be 100% at fault.
Well yea. The behind vehicle is always at fault. Cause they aint paying attention
Thats a classic for this area. Fortunately, even ICBC is pretty scrutinizing when it comes to rear enders. I doubt he would have gotten away with it even with BC insurance.
I hold my breath whenever I'm forced to make a left turn on Rupert off of 41st. It's super busy, and the abundance of blind spots makes that intersection an absolute hazard, especially with all of the hills.
10:03 looks like more action happens off to the right where this white SUV driver gets out of their vehicle, probably triggered by the van behind them honking for him to proceed while the police officer bolts through the light. He actually gets out of his SUV ready to engage in some road rage while in the intersection...
Didn't even notice that, good eye. Looks like that's what happened. I guess that van driver would've drove straight into the cop.

Yay! Thank you, another glorious ''best of'' the worst drivers. How ironic. Each time you publish something, I must think of a new story about how I will never come to Vancouver, but this time, I don't have to make up anything, for two reasons, I've already made up something on each of the original and highway 1, 5 and other roads are cut due to flooding aftermath, so even if I wish to come down, I cannot anyways. Thank you.

Some drivers on the road are insane, super impatient, super selfish, and they need mental treatment, and their license and car take away.
Recently there's a drunk driver in Burnaby hit multiple cars and signs but the penalty just not hard enough. I would like to see more harsh penalty or fine, even jail time if people road rage.
No, they need to get their faces kicked in.

I don't know why it took so long before I got the notification on this one.. But I eventually did I guess.. I just can't help myself but laugh every time I see an accident with non-moving obstacles.. People are REALLY distracted .. and that double bus one.. omg.. so much damage..
10:07 I see u-turn on left turn green light so many times, at least once a day, I was beginning to think maybe u-turn rule changed since I got my DL...
on side note, only time I ever got a ticket for u-turn was on Kingsway, in front of Metrotown, almost same spot LOL

Hey in case no one else mentioned this. When the front end of a vehicle is hit, damage to the engine can cause an accelerator issue which may explain those drivers "accelerating" after the accident. A locked accelerator can be very dangerous.

I like how because of Covid19 and the lack of accidents in 2021 I have gotten over $200.00 back from ICBC and a reduction on my insurance for driving in Vancouver yet you show these. Hell I only pay $70.00 a month full coverage now down from $90.00 2 years ago.

Hey a good idea for a model of dash cams would be for them to be hidden in the grill and rear, Then if the car is stolen the owner can turn it on with an app and see where the car is,

Try knocking on people's homes or contacting the owner's cars that are parked on the street there yesterday if you were at a residential area!
4:47 I don't believe a road with bicycle access and u-turn would have a speed limit of 65 mph. That was how fast the camer was driving! Sure, you can drive 10+ mph above speed limit without getting a ticket. It does not mean other traffic participants should expect you to drive this fast. Instead, expect other traffic participants to move at or below speed limit and be ready and willing to slow down.
This camer is an entitled 60% a-hole. The biker burdens the other 40% a-hole-ness for being careless.
Yes, I followed a 15 mph biker on a "share the road" road with 35 mph limit till it's safe to surpass.

The cop that went to pull over cars that did u-turn, if this happened in Washington/Oregon states and there is no any signs that prohibits u-turn the cop wouldn't do anything

In some countries, dash cam videos can be used to fine bad drivers, and the person taking the video gets paid money for it !

I shouldn't have laughed watching the cyclist smashing into a van, but if you didn't know he had a motor on it, it looks funny.
That was my video. The cyclist didn’t have a motor. I had to slow down earlier because he was peddling like a mad man and he decided to cut in between the cars and lost control. Don’t worry I laughed too lol

I think the only way anyone can explain 2:34 is if the driver is getting pleasured right at that moment. It seems like the driver lost all motor control.
Re first video clips. You could set up a camera at pretty much any intersection in Richmond and see the same amount of stupidity.

Where’s the law?
You claim that a lot people get into accidents but they are not accidents. At 3:19 is what you really call an accident, something that could not be avoided. The rest of the collisions that occur are mainly due to lack of driver skill, stupidity and careless driving which are NOT accidents.
