That's fantastic, dude! What a great little project. I was given a scroll saw a few months ago, but haven't had a chance to use it. I will definitely have to try one of these.
Totally awesome design. I had no idea that you can scroll in 3D. I've just bought the Dremel MS20 Moto Saw, which uses pinned blades, which now restricts me to some designs with smaller fret cuts. (If that's the correct phrase). I only thought you could do 2D. Love your video and will be following you. Downloaded the 'Love Wood' from your contact, Going to try it but I'm thinking it ain't going to happen on the first go. . . . good to practice though eh! Thanks bud, love it. x
Great vid buddy! You said you were using a #12 blade, at what saw speed? Maximum speed, 75%%? I'm struggling... It seems I am forcing my saw at 90% and a #9 skip tooth blade... Like of I'm forcing the wood ..
Looks like fun. Guess my next tool will be a scroll saw ;) I like how you have the back of the saw up on a 4x4. Makes so much sense and I'll bet it's easier on your back. Question: What is the tennis ball for on the saw to your left?
Thanks, scroll saws are awesome and versatile. The tennis ball is a way of replacing the bellows for the dust blower. The older model saws, the bellows sometimes dry rots.
Hello congratulations for the work. I tried to do the same. One side was good, but the other side didn't work. Got the right side to start? A hug from Brazil.
Love your videos. I have done all sorts of wood working but have never used a scroll saw. I would love to see you do a video on the different kinds of blades and when/why you use certain blades for certain projects.
The Difference is a #5 Blade is very thin with several teeth per inch, a #12 blade is thicker with less teethe per inch and is able to cut thicker stock
Unfortunately Delta no longer carries parts for the 16 Inch Scroll Saw, I did order spare parts when the company did stock them. However, you can almost always find this exact Scroll Saw in pawn shops for between $55 and $65. I hope this helps.
Very cool 3D scroll saw technique. Great job!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks again Tyler for another great educational video. Compound-cutting on the scrollsaw is my most favorite type of projects to do
Very welcome!

I like your videos, brethren.. From one pirate to another, SKOL!!

Very very cool. Also, I think you need to add a vocal "Arrrr" at the end of each video, kind of a trademark and to bring a smile to your viewers.
Haha thanks! Sorry for the late reply! I think my catch phrase of "If I can make it or do it, so can you!" is cool
Very cool!

Very nice, I’ve tried them with not much luck .I’ll check my scrollsaw to see if the blade is square to the table and use a larger blade. Thanks

Thank You !
awesome video! do you think this can be done with a name on each of the 4 sides?

Thanks for the kind words, take your time and let the blade do the work. I am so sorry for the incredibly late reply

Forcing the material is never good, it can cause the blade to warp within the thicker material. Take your time and let the blade do the work.
@@ArtisanPirate Thanks Tyler... Cheers

one day I will buy a scroll saw :D
Hope You Get A Scroll Saw ! They Are Very Versatile Tools ! :)
Many thanks. I'm gonna try and make one with my wifes name and mine. 🇬🇧
Awesome !
Thats an awesome idea! Were you able to finish it yet?
Is there a way to create my own patterns? Any software available?
Not as far as I know of, this was a pre made Steve Good Design
Thanks for your great video. Does the design have to have the same amount of letters on each side?
Thank You ! And yes it does
Hello congratulations for the work. I tried to do the same. One side was good, but the other side didn't work. Got the right side to start? A hug from Brazil.
its really trial and error, but, i'd recommend cutting the less detailed side first
@@ArtisanPirate thanks
If a person were making one of these for Bobby Duke it would have to be “LOVE WEWD”! 😁
Great job! What font did you use?

Can you make those with pinned blades or do they have to be the plain blades
I Think It Would Be Exceptionally Difficult But, I Wouldn't Call It Impossible
Hi buddy that’s a cool project what kind of wood did you use and what kind of blade
Nice bruv
I live near gibsonville would love to meet u cuz I'm new at this
Awesome !
What brand would you recommend for #12 saws?
sharktooth blades
very good video .... what is the diference between nª5 and Nª12 blade ? hpw many teeth per cm ?
The Difference is a #5 Blade is very thin with several teeth per inch, a #12 blade is thicker with less teethe per inch and is able to cut thicker stock
What kind of wood are you using. Great video
Thank You ! This Is A Scrap Piece Of Spruce 2X4 That I Ripped Down.
I have used similar technique to make deer but sure can't find a pattern for a Moose! Any ideas? I am not much of an artist.
Hmm, I'd try searching scroll saw compound patterns on a search engine and see what comes up
@@ArtisanPirate Thanks! Been there--done that---no luck!
Where do you get parts for your delta scrollsaw

He really seems like the Bob Ross of wood, he just has the Bob Ross voice
Thanks !

Cool do u have a love you pattern
hey brother in the hobby.. why did you say 2x4... should it not be 2x2x4?

Bonjour comment allée vous ses cool

Excellent to see that woodprix has new plans what helped me save some money and energy to build it.
