Oh I’m so excited for you to enjoy this Veronica/Stoker journey! They are my one true loves. Thanks for tagging me in this so I could experience your love of it for the first time.
Thank you so much for watching! I may not be able to remember the names of their jobs, but I looooove them. I’m trying so hard not to pound the series!
1. I see those calico critters in the background and I am OBSESSED
2. A Guest in the House sounds SO GOOD I added it to my tbr
3. Love the video as always :))
4. I do play my cat like a guitar! 🎸
Thank you!! 😊 I hope you enjoy A Guest in the House! I had a really good time with it. Also! I’m obsessed with calico critters-I’m trying so hard to practice self control. They’re just SO CUTE
you are the cutest, so spunky, haha!😅💗 loved this!
Thank you so much!! 🥰
I read Get a Life Chloe Brown in February too and loved it!! I related to the difficulty of having a disability and the constant battle between taking care of yourself and living your life. Amazing book!
I’m so glad you liked it too! I’m so excited to continue the series-I think both protagonists in the third one are autistic? 👀
im so ready!
Variety is the spice of life, I'm glad you found contemporary romances that you enjoyed! I really like the Veronica Speedwell mysteries. I have read 5 of them so far (they are good as audiobooks) and I've tried some other similar series as well. The cover of In the Company of Witches is so adorable. It's been on my TBR for a while, thanks for the reminder to actually read it. I will try to give Abby Jimenez another chance, I couldn't get through The Friend Zone, but it sounds like maybe I judged too quickly. I'm glad you had such a good experience reading Talia Hibbert, I have enjoyed everything I've read by them so far.
I’ve heard that a lot of people had problems with The Friend Zone that haven’t continued on into her later novels. I hope you like it if you pick it up! And I’m sooooo excited to read more Talia Hibbert 💛
In the company of witches has been on my TBR for SOOOOO long, I'm so reading this fall - no more postponing!!
Also, Talia Hibbert is awesome and her whole Brown Sisters series is incredible - my favorite is actually the one about Eve but they're all absolutely great! :D
I can’t wait to read the rest of them!!
Loving the cover of In the Company of Witches!!! Sounds like you got up to so many books and enjoyed hearing your thoughts ☺
It’s suuuuuch a cute cover!
I loved Chloe Brown as someone with fibromyalgia. Chloe will always have a special place in my heart but I can definitely recommend the other two books in the series too! Now all I need is to find a queer (particularly sapphic) romcom with fibro rep and I’d be so happy.
Oh my god, that would be the actual DREAM
I didn’t had time to watch your video, and I was saving it for good moment.
I know its been almost a month, but I still want to comment. I love the books you read because I get amazing recommendations💛
Its so nice that you find more genres that you enjoy to read, I think it’s never the genre of book, but vibes, writing style, and so much more that makes book amazing, and it was February, and Valentine’s Day, so it make sense to read romance! 🌸
I always love your comments, no matter when you post them! Thank you so much for watching 😊 And I completely agree. I always saw myself as a pretty narrow genre reader, but I’ve definitely learned in the past year or so that I can love a book in any genre as long as it’s the right book for me 😊 I really hope you enjoy any of them you end up picking up!
I read Prayer for the Crown Shy because of you last month and loved it! I read Psalm for the Wild Built a while ago, but hearing you talk about it reminded me how much i enjoyed the first one and i realized i was so ready to continue the series! And yes it was the vibes i was lookin for, so thanks ✨✨Also, I have a thing for witches too, so some of these books really sound interesting to me. Keep bein awesome! ✨😊
Yay!! I’m so glad you loved it! That series means so much to me 🥰
Great video Erin! I am also someone who shied away from contemporary romances until I read all of Ali Hazelwood’s books and became obsessed. I never ever thought I would like her stuff based on The Love Hypothesis’s reputation and how I judged it before reading, but it just goes to show you never know until you try! Love seeing your videos in my feed!!
Thank you so much! I really need to finally give a Hazelwood a shot. Lmk if there’s a specific one you think I should start with 😊
Personally, Love on the Brain was my favorite of hers. If you’re into star wars or ship Reylo in any way, start with The Love Hypothesis. Also, Check and Mate was super fun if you like chess or want to like chess. It’s lighter on the romance but still has her signature charm. I’m about to read Bride soon but that one is a paranormal romance from what I understand so it’s a little out of her usual wheelhouse. I’m looking forward to seeing if you read any of these 😊
I need to check out those witchy cosy mysteries
Agreed! They’re a good time 😊💛
I’m also not big on contemporary romance haha but I loved Chloe Brown and Part of Your World! I really want to read A Curious Beginning, love a good cozy historical mystery 😊
Then you’d probably really like it! I’m stoked to continue with the series 😊
@@ArinHoney yeah I’ll definitely have to check it out! Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Great wrap up 📚☕
Thank you!! 😊
I love your aesthetic 💕
Thank you! 🥰
Hi Erin, I LOVE your thumbnails and your hair! I’m a new booktuber and I’m so glad I Found your channel! Bright Young Women is on my list and I’ve owned it for so long. I should add it to my March list!
I LOVED A Love Song for Ricki Wilde!! SO MUCH.
We have similar tastes in books and I love that. Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you so much! And yay! I’ll be sure to check out your channel ASAP 💛
Hey friend, great video once again. The confession at the start. Dead. 😂Also, “my chronic pain got really bad, it still is… I think that’s just my life now”, when I tell you… I have NEVER related to anything more! put that on a T-shirt and I will buy 10 of them ahahaha!
ffs dude… I’ve been putting off Veronica speedwell but now imma need to get to it soon 🙃 somehow you also just sold me on a romance… adding Chloe Brown to my list immediately 🙌🏻
Hi friend! Chronic pain pals unite! I feel truly honored to have convinced you to read Chloe Brown. I hope you enjoy it! (My first reaction reading that I sold you on it was the Mr Burns “excellent”, so just imagine me evilly twiddling my fingers)
@@ArinHoney ahahahaha! I can picture you doing that so clearly
I am also always lying about genres I don’t like HAHA 🤪 but I love hearing recs from people who don’t typically enjoy a certain genre bc it usually means that book is really good
I finally read A Witch’s Guide to Fake Dating a Demon! SO FUN!!! I need to read the sequel 🤭
I’ve heard only great things about Get a Life, Chloe Brown! Glad you enjoyed it :-) I’ll definitely check it out
Also I 🧡 Luca so so much
That’s a great point! And I’m so glad you liked Fake Dating a Demon 💛 The third one is even coming out later this year 😉
@@ArinHoney I didn't know there would be a third! I need to catch up 😯
I love you! 😘
I love you too 😘
I agree with your thoughts on each of these books except I dnfd rabbit hole - way too much animal death upfront
That’s very fair!
