When I was a kid, animals who talked were always an insta-read for me. Have you read the Shady Hollow series? It's a series of cozy mysteries, filled with talking animals wearing tiny little clothes.

This is the first time I've watched your channel and it's also the same week I thrifted vhs tapes too haha. Also stardew valley music? Subscribed.

I still have the VCR I got as a birthday gift at 8. I also bought 5 extras so I'll have spares, although I also got good at fixing them.

That was such a cute and fun vlog! (apart from that Ronald McDonald glass - that sh*t is terrifying!) OMG, the donated Xboxes... The TRAU-MA! It hits home so bad. A 1000 years ago, my mum asked me if she could lend (emphasis on *LEND*) my Nintendo (the original, vintage one) and Pokemon games to a colleague's kid and I stupidly said yes. When we never got them back, she denied the lending part -- she had given them away and claimed I had agreed to it! Now she will say she doesn't remember or that "of course not, I'm sure they're in a box somewhere in the attic." NO, THEY'RE NOT! I never even got the chance to try catching Mewtwo on Nintendo because of this. I still resent her to this day 😅

LOVEEEE all the gaming iconography. The first song was totally giving Spiritfarer soundtrack 😢💚 a La Summer strumming along in the garden 😂 Kermit!!!!!!!! 😍 The Last Dive looks epic - never heard of it!

Ah! I’ve never heard anyone talk about My Favorite Thing Is Monsters. I look at it every time I’m in my comic shop and always want to get it, but the price scared me since I knew nothing about it. Guess now I’ll just have to get it next time I’m there. 😏

Watching her try to read human social cues and pretend to be a human felt like autism representation to me. I only found your channel and subscribe today but I feel like you might like this.

I know I’m late to the game (this video autoplayed and I’ve had it playing in the background), but I tuned right in when I heard you mention The Body Keeps The Score and started talking about the feelings tied to it. I just want to say, as a fellow traumatized chronic pain/illness sufferer, that there’s a lot of grief and anger that comes with unpacking the trauma and coming to terms with how it’s affected our bodies. It’s really hard and those feelings are super valid and important to recognize. I recommend taking the book very slowly, which is what I was told when the same book was recommended to me after being diagnosed.
