Hi Nick, Is Norma here. My first 5 day of water fast have being fantastic. Red light therapy has been a life saver. I can't wait to see how my next 16 days go but I'm very confident I can finish. I love my mychondria devices:)
1st minute in… and yes Nick! I hardly get cold sores anymore!!! I thought it was the cymbiotica and the dha I used to use. Don’t use that anymore but I still almost get no cold sores anymore…. 🎉
I noticed you mentioned it stimulates the melanin. Is it possible to to use red light therapy without getting darker? Also I've noticed that you don't protect your eyes as advised when using it, why not?
It’s more that it prepares melanin to protect you from UV light later. UV light is still necessary to tan/get darker. Eye protection is only neccasary if you are quite light sensitive. I close my eyes when treating my face, and when targeting other areas of my body I keep my eyes open, as red light therapy is good for your eyes in the right dose.
Nice video. I wish I knew that you sold red light therapy devices. I would have bought from you if I had known. You did influence my decision to buy one from, I hate to say it, another company.
Always in the evening, with the bath 1.5-2 hours before bedtime (this creates a core body temperature drop before bed, which is great for your sleep too). You can read more on this here: mychondria.com/blogs/news/the-magnesium-protocol-for-sleep
Do you know of any info or research related to red light mats vs panels? AND many mats have a plastic or polyurethane cover that directly touches the skin and so is there any info or research about the impact of that heating the plastic against the skin leaching chemicals or BPA? Or are there mats that do bot use a PU film?
Interesting question, we haven’t actually seen any research comparing the two, although panels tend to feature a lot more in the research than mats. We also haven’t seen research specifically on these mats and BPA, but if that is something you’d be concerned about then a panel device is going to be a better choice. You’ll get the same (or higher) light dose with a quality panel, without any BPA/toxin risk.
Everyday, and the session length will depend on the benefit. My favorite use is definitely to wake up in the morning, just a 5-minute session in front of my MyLight MAX gets my day started. In the evenings I’ll also do a 8-10 minute session to improve sleep. What are the main benefits you’d like to achieve with one of our devices?
@@twktwo123 awesome, those are all very achievable with our devices. Skin and muscle recovery both result from a low dose, so 5-minutes per day is plenty (aimed at the targeted skin area, or muscles after a workout). For sleep improvements you'll do an 8-10 minute session, 1-2 hours before bed time. Here you cover large surface areas e.g. 8-minutes chest, 8-minutes back. Based on the benefits you're after a panel device such as the MyLight MIDI would be best. You can find this device here: mychondria.com/collections/mylight/products/mylight-midi
You can find them at: optimized.co.za/collections/mychondria They do list as currently out of stock, but they should have stock coming in soon so just send them a message about this.
Personally my protocols are as follows: • Full front and back upper body (5 minutes each), every morning • 3 minutes testes, every morning • Entire body 8 minutes per area, Thursday & Sundays (recovery days) • Face 5 minutes 3x per day if I have gotten a lot of recent sun and concerned about a cold sore. Let me know if you have any other questions.
You can find the MyLight MOVE and MyLight MIDI from a company called Optimized in Johannesburg: optimized.co.za/collections/mychondria If you require any of the other models, please email me at nick@mychondria.com and we can arrange one for you.
Hi, I did my first red light therapy today. I wore the protection goggles and after 3 mins of using it I had green vision for a bit. Is this normal? Are there long term affects if this keeps happening? Thanks 😊
Very normal, your eyes have just adjusted to the red light which makes normal light appear greener. This is just a short lived adaptation and nothing to be concerned about
@@mychondria the MitoRed pro 300. I have low blood pressure and normal heart rate and 5 minutes after the session it was quite high. After 30 minutes it went down.
@@Kashyx the only thing we could think of is possibly going from a seated position to suddenly standing, otherwise you will want to contact them to find out if this is normal with their devices.
How would you recommend using red light for women's testosterone?

Hi, have you tried methylene blue? Supposed to be the ultimate healing combo w red light.
Yup! Been using this stuff too! It’s a great combo as the two work synergistically, especially if you’re new to red light therapy
