"Life is not a stage, Life is a war made up of many battles, some battles you win and some you lose. Just because you lose some battles doesn't mean you've lost the war."
I know this man... very humble and a brother from another mother back in school... a very influential person ... you have no idea who he is until you stay with him
Just to mention I've listened to this particular engage talk countless times, shared it in one of my Msc classes and they absolutely loved it. Thanks Ronald for sharing this. It gets me going through the tough days.
I stumbled onto this channel and I cannot believe how fantastic the experience has been. This was a fantastic speech! I totally empathised with the speaker to the point where I believe I felt his every emotion.... Thank you!
Wow such resilient spirit... I also tried to camp at starehe for my son but God gave him a scholarship to isk.. God's plan are not ours.. Thanks for sharing
One of the insights for me is Starehe School's strong ethos, starting from the personality of Geoffrey Griffin and reinforced by the strong sense of community through its Old Starehians Society. There is a great deal to learn from this in the area of community/nation building i.e. that people can coalesce around a value system regardless of ethnicity/social/financial status and get things done...
Listened to a couple of talks here, but this,..this is the best! Couldn't have listened to it at a better time. From the eloquence ,flow and innocency, this went straight to the target..
This Ronny was powerful! Thank you so much for sharing. Especially the aspect of the toll things took on your family. A lot of times we forget the families that find themselves sacrificing when people benefit from a leader. Wishing you and your family the very best.
Yes! I agree when you love your battle scars they are your deepest and precious honour in life. We always learn from mistakes but when you pick you have a new journey to begin with a fresh new start. Keep fighting your battles. Thanks Ronald for sharing
This is powerful journey and it was narrated in a way we could all understand.. I loved your resilience to join starehe and if you could put the same you would probably be a dp one day. The part you said collymore said you had a return ticket tells more about him.
Very brilliant! I am left wondering if life is a war, who is the enemy? Does our upbringing/ parents and learning institutions train us for the battle?
"But I have come to love my battle scars because they are my badge of honour; they are proof that I am battle hardened"... Love this!
Very true

I hope many people who give up easily should listen to our brother here in Christ. This behaviour is the only way to survive on this planet.
I believed in PK in 2013 and even followed Ronnie by then on FB. I still believed they won on the social streets. #Life is a war we win

The victory comes in the lessons learnt and how they shape the next war.
