Do not fall in love at first sight, get an inspection first and do a neighborhood survey.

lol they still live here fyi...found the listing housesigma and hasn't been listed again since. House prices have gone up SO much in this area, would easily sell for over 1 million if its in liveable condition. A garage on vacant land sells for $600-880k now in Toronto

They probably don't have a long credit history and that's why they have only been qualified for a smaller loan. I guess cause they live in so many countries they don't have a long credit history in Canada.
Good point! I never thought of that. I wondered, when Sandra said how much they were wanting to spend, why they weren't saving up more money for a larger down payment. In TO it's just SO expensive to own a home!

I would have chosen the last house too. I don't care for the look of the second house. To me its just not homey. I like a well designed decorated home but not showroom style like that.
