when u said "many people running around screaming about how they're victims" i imagined for a sec people who were lierally screaming and running around and that looks so funny😂👍🙌
People who care about what others like/dislike is whats wrong with the world. A mechanic added to social media platforms that shape a person's self worth. Sad.
You do understand the algorithms on UA-cam don't you? It's not about disliking it for the fk of it..it's so there are fewer vids coming through like this....you really need to learn why ppl click dislike..too many people jump to idiotic conclusions.
@CantOutRunADuck Yes agree! It definitely could be a dad. There's no need to be defensive, it's not personal. As long as his/her son is doing good. Thank you for your comment.
Fantastic speech, In 2011 I entered a songwriting competition and I sang a song on stage, my first live act, before a audience and a young boy age 15 joined me on stage and began singing with me, the audience went wild, afterwards his mom was crying and it was then that she told me she had never heard him talk or sing before.
Being a parent of a child with Autism, I can tell you our children just want to be excepted to have friends, and do things that their peers are doing. Our children learn a different way, and it isn’t wrong, it’s just different. That’s what we need on this planet, different. My child has made me a better person than I could have ever been without them. I see difference as a good thing. Difference, will open your eyes and your heart. I wish everyone would take time to get to know someone who has Special needs to see their world, because it’s a beautiful world. ❤️💜💕💖
The future is for our children, our grandchildren and our great-grandchildren. We must do everything we can possibly do to see to it that their future is everything they hoped it would be.
We are all different. Each person is a part of tapestry that makes up this world. I have a son with special needs. He had kidney failure at birth was DD, ADHD. He passed proficiency tests, went on to graduate from school. We set the tone in how our children grow, and develop into who they are by encouraging and fostering there interests. When my son said he wanted to do x, I encouraged it. Be a light to our children and help them dance their dance! God bless everyone.
WOW! Blown away..blown away. We've got so much to learn..& so much we can give students like John, because they have so much to give us - " schools fitting themselves to students, instead of the other way around.." 100% yes!
EXACTLY! Anyone that doubts this truth, there are an infinite number of great examples on video of verbosity without intelligence available for your viewing pleasure brought to you by the United States congress and senate. They even have their own television channel.
Anyone within autism that reads this - I can see behind your eyes and I know genius. You are a exceptional minds trapped behind invisible barriers. Whether it's words, pencils, paints, clay, guitar, piano, drum, football, basketball... Whatever it is you love, you live for - keep doing it. There is something incredible about you, within you - the most incredible part is, you and other people won't know how amazing you are until you find the thing you love. Find your love, free your thoughts ☮️❤️😁
He may be misdiagnosed, all of the medical community call his condition as Autism, but it may very well be Dystractsia, very similar condition, but the speech part can be worked on and come forward, where the person will began to speak. The medical community just automatically peg holes the condition as "Autism." What a shame for the child. Mom get reading material on this and you will understand much better. My wonderfully smart and bright Grandson was always asked are you Autistic and when the Medical People researched further they knew it was Dytracstra. Please check into this, to see what the diagnosis is.
My son graduated high school and was autistic. He was so smart. He passed away from a seizure 2 yrs ago today, and I miss him every minute. On a sad day, this warned my heart.
I don't understand how there are 23 dislikes. Communication is a human right and this teenager is exercising his right, in a way that he chose, I hope. It's pure inspiration and brought tears to my eyes. We all just want to be accepted and feel like there's somewhere we belong. 💛🌻💛
What an amazing young man! And it sounds like a really supportive group of adults around him. I was holding it together until his tutors bottom lip started to wobble and then I was gone, full on tears. I’m sure whatever he is doing now is amazing!
Very cool! I wish they had briefly explained in the intro or in the video description how he writes. It took me a minute to realise it was his own words.
I am truly grateful that I 'happened' upon this video! I can now see how completely wrong my thinking was when it came to autism. Thank you, thank you for your voice!
Awesome, this is truly what school should be about, it's not only good for this young man but also for all students at the school, congratulations from Perth Western Australia 👏👏👏👏🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
This is the best graduation speech I have come crossed in a long time. Just by chance it popped up as a suggestion in my video feed. It was beautiful and articulate. Having a child that is severely Dyslexic and even at the age of 21, can only read at what they determine to be a Grade 3 level, it is so hard for people to accept that she is highly intelligent. People often just assume that just because you can't read like everyone else, you can't be intelligent. She has always loved a good story and continues to "read" with the help of computer programs and audio books. She may not be able to write a good story by herself but she has discovered a way of telling a great story with her beautiful photography. I am so glad that this young man and his family was able to find such a wonderful school for him. there needs to be a change in the system so that all schools can be more like this. Best of luck on your adventures in learning!
It is still a disability because you struggle to learn simple tasks that are so easy for neurotypicals. Don't see it as a disability will only hurt people who struggles and don't get the help that they need.
@@muackisaid9123 I'm very aware. My daughter is on the spectrum plus has several other issues that cause anxiety and sensory issues. All I meant is that those with autism learn differently but they CAN do many things very well when it's something they enjoy or part of their special interest. I get upset with people who just want to put a label of disability and don't allow any room for that person to learn, grow and be a productive part of society. My daughter wants to have a future but has been treated badly.
“Instead of put me into a box they build one that fit me” well said that really touched my heart ♥️
Hi
All kids in school should feel this
So true! Schools expect every child to behave, learn and act the same

We have so many people running around screaming about how they're victims and this young man explaining why hes not.
Best comment ever!!!
Well said, Jason.
Thank god his mother knew better than to listen to the doctors. There's a reason why it's called "practicing" medicine.

As a child I had a blind friend who told me we all had our own mountain to climb. Some mountains were more obvious than others but we all have one.
