Nurses make all the difference especially when people have to stay longer. They are wonderful human beings, talking to you, cheering you up. Priceless, such a big hearted, beautiful woman.

Thank you for sharing. People need to see that the very people you might hate may be the one that have to give you grace and mercy. There are so many out their in medical positions that don’t care anything about nothing but a dollar. Many are racist and do only what is required half way fo those who have a different skin color, even in the doctors office... Some of these people don’t even look at your profile before they enter the room. Which means you are nothing but a number attached to a bill... This nurse saw the need and went beyond the call which is what people with have compassion and a good heart. Thank you for caring for this young man. He seem to have good parent but I believe he will be a good man partially because of this experience if he he reminded of the jesters as we grows. Praying he continues do be well. Praying for the parents strength to stay together and fight for him no matter how a hard it gets. The world need to see these kinds of stories no matter the ups and downs. Be blessed.

whenever anyone I know is in the hospital, I pray for there to be someone like this woman there to comfort and encourage them. I remember being in the hospital in a foreign country as a child. @@ashleyunderwood4855 My friends baby was a premie and the thought of her little one lying there on his own horrified her. I’m a heart patient myself. I was not much older than he was when two teenage volunteers brought a record player by my crib and started dancing. I never forgot it. When I was around 10 I had another heart procedure. A doctor who worked with my dad (a surgeon) introduced himself to me at 11 pm after he peaked open the door to check on me and probably saw I was up and scared. He left then came back in with a wheel chair. He told me to hop in. He was running me around the nurse station cracking up with me. One was nurse was mad and that made him laugh harder. I never forgot it. I’m 50 now. I’m still stunned when I see that number. I can’t believe I’m still here. Ah....the power of love♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Its amazing how that Doctor did something quick and simple for you as a child, that took just 10 minutes of his time, yet here you remember that little gesture, 40 years on, with appreciation and gratitude. What a beautiful story, thank you for sharing!

Beautiful. My cousin was a nurse at Austin Children's Hospital before he got hit by a drunk driver and got killed. After he died we had so many families reaching out to tell us stories like this about him. I'm so grateful and proud he was able to help families feel not so alone during some of the hardest times of their lives. He's missed every day, and all medical staff around the world who do the same thing--know that you are greatly appreciated. Thanks for letting me get that out. I needed to.
My deepest condolences to you and your (cousin's) family. Goes to show: it's not how long you've lived, it's what you live behind when you're gone, and your cousin seems to have done so much good to so many people.

Nurses make all the difference especially when people have to stay longer. They are wonderful human beings, talking to you, cheering you up. Priceless, such a big hearted, beautiful woman.
I've only met three nurses in my life that were wonderful people and it saddens me that it was only two compared to the others I've crossed paths with briefly. We need more nice nurses.
My husband & I are both retired medical professionals.
It is so rewarding to see a patient heal & go home & knowing you were a part of their recovery. That's why I spent 45 years in the medical field.
I highly recommend it, if you're looking for a career.
My husband was a B.S.N.
& I was a registered Respiratory Therapist.
(We met working at the same hospital). ❤️
I am a retired army nurse. There's not enough money in the world to compensate a nurse with a compassionate, loving, giving and Christ-like spirit. 💖
@AK Boatmann Love for Christ Jesus is shown through how we treat each other and has absolutely nothing to do with "religion". In a manner, you're correct. Religion indeed does, endorse us to follow a protocol. On the other hand, Jesus Christ invites us to listen to His voice and follow Him, just as He followed the Father. Now, don't waste your time attacking me. Jesus has given me an antivenomous injection & negativity just bounces off. ~💖
@Uchenwa Jessica 💖
Uchenwa Jessica Some people don’t believe in jesus, and that’s okay. People have different opinions.
Be blessed.
@@CharsUrbanHomesteadAndTalks Indeed !! And may you be blessed as well. 💖

whenever anyone I know is in the hospital, I pray for there to be someone like this woman there to comfort and encourage them. I remember being in the hospital in a foreign country as a child. I couldn't speak the language and when visiting hours were over, I felt so lonely. Once, a man stopped by and gave me a little treat and I have never forgotten that kindness. I suspect some part of Baby Blake will always remember this loving kindness.
This tech was born to work hospitals and work with kids. I hope she's doing okay and has been vaccinated against the Covid. She really is an essential worker.

There was a nurse who used to sing all the babies to sleep in the premie ward. There were babies born with addiction and all kinds of problems. She would hug them, tuck them all in and sing. Just simply beautiful 😍!
Doreen Patterson what was her name ? A great human being
That made me cry. I was a preemie.😭❤️
@@ashleyunderwood4855 My friends baby was a premie and the thought of her little one lying there on his own horrified her. So we worked out rota and routine so that there would be somebody doing skin to skin. So this little premie would always be lying on somebody, hearing a heartbeat and knowing somebody loved him.
They thought we were all slightly mad and a bit hippyish as this was a while back, but the Doctors thought he wasn't going to make it and we just had other ideas.
