  • Y'all have been asking for a Navy SEAL, so Christian is excited to welcome former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell - the sole survivor of Operation Red Wings - to share what drives him, how he balances and strengthens his mind, body, and spirit, and why he believes that when Jesus is behind you, it's a whole lot easier. Marcus shares how he overcame his extensive injuries, what it's like to have your fellow officers killed all around you, the importance of friends who will push you and not let you stay down and defeated, and how growing up as a twin helped prepare him for the intense SEAL training he went through.

From a warrior to a warrior for the Lord. Whole different ball game. I went through hell n back know what it smells like tastes like. Got the scars to prove it. So going from one to another is definitely not for the weak at heart. ❤ For I had to go through that to be who I am today. A tried and true Christian. Who will always stay humble. ❤ Hold the line . Stay prayed up. ❤

I also recommend the first ep of the show the warfighters. It is about the rangers who rescued him. Incredible how God protected Marcus and his rescuers

Mind, body, and spirit is the exact image of the trinity. God the Father is represented by the mind, Jesus the body (physical representative of the Godhead), and Holy Spirit is the spirit (the life force of the body). We are a triune being as well. 3 separate entities and yet they are all needed to make you

Great podcast, the only thing that I'm curious about is what exactly religion has to do with goin to a gym. Working out for a certain body shape is relatively new to us, and certainly new to the bible. Working out for a specific body type could easily be considered as vanity, Wich to me in certain cases is not anything the bible stands for. Typically the ones working out 6 days a week, standing in front of a mirror to feel good about themselves is just another form of weaker men in thes era that think they are more of a man than others. And let's be honest many of the men at the gym are taking things into their body that God did not intend. I know several guys who go to the Dr in order to get more testosterone. In my opinion if you are taking supplements to get big muscles you are honestly not any different than a guy that likes to do a little meth on the weekend only.

I started working out for vanity but now do it because I love the hobby/lifestyle and it’s a great way to honor God’s temple. I don’t take steroids but those that do are doing as they please according to their free will. I definitely don’t agree with PED use but wouldn’t say it’s as damaging as hardcore drug use
