Motivational leader, goal-driven mentor, and innovator, Jake Zweig has brought the standards of excellence in training, toughness, focus, and teamwork from his former world as a Navy SEAL commando officer to college football. Zweig is poised to make an immediate impact as a leader on a university campus by enabling coaches, student-athletes, and staff to achieve the impossible. Mr. Zweig earned professional success as a naval special warfare officer and applies that same intensity and commitment to coaching his players.
Developing leaders is the key to a successful team and a primary specialty of Mr. Zweig’s. At Ohio University, he led the team and staff through a leadership program comprised of leadership skills training, problem-solving scenarios, and, of course, a rigorous team-bonding Navy SEAL workout. His leadership training has helped teams to enhance their focus, initiative, and leadership effectiveness. He has employed his leadership program at the University of New Hampshire, as well, where Coach Frank Solich and the UNH Bobcats are a testimonial to Mr. Zweig’s methods and results.
A life-long athlete and team leader, Mr. Zweig returned to college athletics following a successful career in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Zweig graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1995 as a commissioned officer. He served as a surface warfare officer for two years onboard the U.S.S. Merrimack before reporting for Navy SEAL training at Basic Underwater Demolition School. SEAL training is the most grueling and demanding physical and mental regimen in the world and Mr. Zweig not only personally excelled at the challenge but mentored the other trainees through the program and was named the SEAL class leader. Following his SEAL training, Mr. Zweig reported to SEAL Team 8 in Little Creek, VA and attained the rank of Lieutenant. Email me for the FREE Workout PDF: jake.zweig@gmail.com

Similar. My dad worked for US Steel and during the summers I worked in the mill 8-10 hours on weekdays. Came home black from dust and dirt. I never study so hard. It was the best experience of my like. Those older steel workers didn't cut me slack and let me know when I fucked up.

JZ, you are such an amazing advisor. I wish you could talk to my 13 year old daughter. Lol as a former army veteran I wouldn't recommend this young mangetting a army unassigned ranger contract either. Or a guaranteed 18 mos ( i.e special forces )series contract. Army Special Operations department is just as challenging as the Navy's special operations umbrella for any recruit. It is recommended to get the 11B MOS ( infantry) first go to airborne school, go to a line unit and have your peers and NCOs evaluate whether or not the soldier is worth the investment. It seems like a long process but in most cases the process works. Some recruits have prepared themselves properly to go directly into our special operations department while others need to first learn to adjust to the army way of life before pursuing a career in our special operations department. Anyways great discussion and advise to this young man and any others who are thinking of joining our military. I wish him the best. Peace and blessings to you too sir awesome advise my brother.

I never served and don't plan on it . but what I did do from 18 till a few years ago was move furniture for a moving company. did it 7 years and man I got strong. I weigh 160 soaking wet but got to a point of toying with my 110 pound kettlebell. I can juggle it a little bit and I do other strength feats. one on my bucket list is tearing a deck of cards in half cause I always had a good grip way before I moved all kinds of stuff. sixteen hour days back to back during summers and at least thirty to forty hours a week this time a year. worked a few thirty hour days too . I got locked out of my old UA-cam account but was just making vids for fun ...so I saved a Playlist with them vids. going to upload in the future on this account. also bought a 250 pound sandbag from Rogue Fitness...I left it at my friends house who I train with on Sundays and he will fill it up with sand soon. I know I can pick it up and carry it but I want to shoulder it...either way I'll record me lifting it. and when I shoulder it I will upload that too. I couldn't join if I wanted too anyways cause I got a juvenile record and been arrested a few times grown too lol. it is what it is. I never did sports besides recently getting into martial arts with that same friend. but I work full time so my training is limited but my strength and balance helps me make up for it somewhat. I wish the lil homeboy the best but even though I never served I can tell he's very delicate as of that vid. hopefully he took the advice.

TikTok has made people these days have less attention span so the title is probably still too long. Most will keep scrolling before even finishing reading half the title. Along with a title, a more appealing thumbnail would also help the algorithm. But to stay on topic, this title, “Navy Seal Q&A Regarding Buds Preparation ft. College Runner | Should You Join?”, would probably work better.

Be honest though Jake. Some of these crazy hard performers might be... You know... The result of some "chemistry meddling", if you catch my drift, which is hardly condusive to performing without it while routinely under slept throughout training. Those crazy numbers are worthless if the participant pees blue on the fourth day.
