    My 30 day challenge has now turned into day 107. I will not drop this lifestyle for anything after trying it. Amazing digestion, more energy, better sleep, I'm lifting more and running further, no more under eye bags. Also saving $$ buy just buying meat in bulk and butchering it myself. Keep up the good fight Jessica!

    Great job! Thank you for sharing your experience. I did carnivore for a month and I was starting to feel better. Then the Christmas holidays came and with parties and family coming to visit, I fell off the wagon. Almost immediately my symptoms returned and my energy levels crashed. So I'm getting back on carnivore again. It works! Good luck with your journey!

    I started on 2nd Jan too. I didn’t even consider a 30 day project. By week 2 I had emptied completely my store cupboards (2 baking. 1 herb n spices. 1 pastas n pulses etc. 2 general store - tins etc). Didn’t measure 🤦🏻‍♀️ but have lost 16lbs. I’m 74yo/5’11” n want another 65+lbs off so I’m in it for the long haul 😉. Health wise I didn’t have more than two issues. Chronic kidney disease (don’t know how chronic) and my annual blood check happened to be taken on week 2 - kidney function nearly normal so I’ll take that! High BP since 2021 when I was diagnosed with bowel cancer. It mightn’t go away as it may be age related. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️. All cancer removed in surgery.

    I’m 8 days in and I do feel the mental thing. I’m wayyy less fatigued and I (and my husband😅) noticed that my overall mood is a lot more positive. Also. Yeah, 0 cravings. I used to stop at a gas station EVERY time I went out, to buy a bag of hot Cheetos. It’s sooo crazy to me that I don’t crave them. Those and potatoes. Went to IHOP last night and my husband had fries, I didn’t want them anymore (last week I had to get up from my seat to not smell fries 😅) this time, I was almost oblivious to the fries. A true miracle 😂 I’m soooo happy. And that’s cuz im doing animal based, not full carnivore 😆

    You're on track. Good job. Some things that slowed down my weight loss were cheese, bacon, and milk, slowed it way down.

    Happy Birthday, a little late, Jessica. Im so happy that you made the decision to stay on Carnivore for awhile. I tried it for 30 days too and really got great results. I lost 20 lbs and i stopped in inflamation in several parts of my body. Then i slept like a baby thruout the trial. I have since stopped. Then i went on to loose 10 more lbs
    I think that was the biggest mistake i have ever made so i am going back to eating only beef, bacon, eggs, and dairy for a longer time i think it will stop the ringing i have in my ears and bring back the sleep.
    Great work on your part. I hope you feel terrific.

    I didn’t receive my energy till after 8 months, but at 67 & with being metabolically sick, I assume things take longer. Onward & upward 🎉

      Thankyou. This is encouraging for me. I have been chronically Ill for 50 years and just passed my first 30 days with no increase in energy....I will persevere. I'm aiming at 3 months but maybe longer..thankyou.

    Happy Birthday Jessica!!! You and Tim did very well on your weight loss. I last a few pounds this month also. Some people are just full of energy no matter how they eat. Only getting coffee tomorrow? Gonna have to tell Tim he has to drink his outside after tomorrow. Lol! Anyways, I'm glad you got good results now let's see what February brings for you.

    congrats. glad you stayed with it. It is a bit tough but it IS for weight loss. i have no nedical issues and eating too get excess fat off and be in good health. You are so sweet and your speaking voice is soothing and you are articulate.

    My husband and I are also doing carnivore and keeping going into Feb. he just started upping his electrolytes and he was very excited to see that made him feel that keto buzz after a month of taking one -2 servings a day. He now is taking 4-6 to get his body back to balance. He has more energy and better mood. Brain fog is finally lifting. I think it’s the potassium because we were eating plenty of sea salt. Happy birthday by the way!!

    I am just like you. I have experienced the healing, weightloss, not hungry, mind clarity but I don’t wake up refreshed. I probably need to quit coffee and caffeine but I probably won’t do that lol

    Get yourself a portable sauna. I work 3rd shift and my sleep has always been garbage. Got the sauna for the cardiovascular benefits but the immediate thing I noticed was a tremendous improvement in my sleep. 20 minutes in the sauna, quick rinse off in the shower then bed. Out the second my head hits the pillow and stay asleep 8 hrs straight through.

    Hi Jessica! Great video. I've been doing this for sixty days but am still working out what could and couldn't work for me. I wonder if pork is a no no as my skin has had two breakouts which has never happened to me in my life. I wonder why you stopped the pork? I'm off all dairy now and eggs as I think they could also be a problem. I'm still experimenting. Keep going and posting please as this has been really helpful. 😃

      Hello! I'm so happy you've found my videos helpful. Great job on the sixty days! That's amazing! I've just completed day 50, and I'm still learning and adjusting also. I was concerned with pork because I was having a hard time adjusting to the no carb life and I wasn't feeling my best. I was getting some comments that suggested eliminating pork. Some people are really sensitive to pork. I've since come to realize that it doesn't affect me negatively. I will add it back in the future. I hope that helps.     Well doneJessica , my thought’s on carnivore and vegan is that they both work , not for everybody because we are all different and have different needs for our body’s , I don’t judge vegan or carnivore and here is why , my thoughts are after discovering what people are cutting out of there diets is all the junk and what we are left with is good natural foods plants and or meats , because people eliminate the junk we been eating we get results , what a surprise hey,

      @@jessicasjourney2762 …I only figured that out after a while , I was vegan for about 6 years but ate the unhealthy vegan options which did me no favours for my weight , I did feel really good plant based but was difficult when eating out the best I could get was a garden salad pretty disappointing and after all that time I decided to call it quits, I did omad and did well but wasn’t sustainable for me then I tried carnivore which I really like and I looked at both life styles that’s when I seen the similarities of elimination of junk foods and why they work so good for people and was pretty much it , when you look at the people who feel amazing and find they cut out all the other things it was a no brainer to me but tend to think people over look why they are feeling so good , just my thoughts on that sorry for the long winded message take care 👍

    coffee is fine with heavy cream. manybpeople drink it daily. i was a coffeeholic and im im actually down to only now and then because i dont crave it anymore

    Well done. My husband and I are trying the carnivore diet. He doesn’t need to lose weight but has a lots of skin issues. My main goal is to lose weight. He is doing really well - no cheating.. but I am really struggling to stick with it. I have experienced sugar cravings off the charts and very poor sleep so struggling to stick with it. Have actually put on weight which is very disappointing.. 😢

      Thank you so much ! Great job trying the Carnivore Diet! I know from personal experience it can be very frustrating that the weight isn't cooperating. I know it's difficult, but I found that after two weeks of being strict, my cravings went away completely. I wish you and your husband all the best. 🩷

    im 30 days in & my fatigue didnt improve either actually it is worse than before i started. i equate it to probably a longer adaptation period & or electrolyte issues. im going to buy electrolytes this week so i guess i'll see soon if thats it.

      I was pretty strict the first 30 days and I did track my macros because I have done that for years. The experts say that isn't necessary, though. You should eat when you are hungry and eat until comfortably stuffed. This way of eating is totally different and new for me and I'm still learning. I wanted to make sure I was getting enough fat. I use myfitnesspal and changed the macro goals. (30% protein, 70% fat, and 0 carbs) I didn't have dairy the first 30 days besides butter. I truly believe being strict helped me with cravings. Whenever I felt lethargic, I learned to eat more fat and to make sure to add more salt. I found that I am taking longer to adjust to this way of eating, but that's ok because everyone is different. I'm not sure in what ways you are struggling but I hope this helps. 🩷 I wish you all the best!

    Good job but the best is yet to come. 3 years in and I am still finding unexpected benefits, for example I no longer have an ear wax problem🙂. I have a list of 25 benefits that continues to grow.

      It's great that you are trying! Progress comes one step at a time. Some people eat the cheese still. It's hard for me to be mindful of cheese, so I have to eliminate it all together. Keep up the good work! You've got this! 🩷

    Why did you stop the pork chops? Is it a carnivore thing?

      No, it isn't a carnivore thing. Some people are sensitive to eating pork. I was getting some comments that led me to believe that eating pork was the reason I wasn't feeling my best. A good bit of carnivores like to stick to ruminate meat. After eliminating it, I realized it had nothing to do with how I was feeling. I was still adjusting and still am. I like variety. In the future, I will be adding it back in.

    Carnivore wasn't for me. I did it for 30 days and lost NOTHING. I did have a lot more energy, and my skin looked awesome, but when I got bloodwork done, my triglycerides and bad cholesterol were through the roof. I have a family history of stroke and heart disease, so it's not something I will ever do again. I'm glad it is working for you, though.

      @@jessicasjourney2762 I'm doing Mediterrranean now, and losing very slowly, but that's o.k. I do have "carb free days" once in awhile, where I just eat meat all day. If my body is craving meat, I listen to it. Besides, I get tired of fish and seafood all the time and just have to have a juicy hamburger! Everything in moderation.

      Sometimes that means you are not eating enough fat. Bump it up and see if that helps!

    Most of that weight loss is probably water weight.

      Wrong.. I’d say a lot of the first week weight lost was water weight but you don’t lose that many inches and mostly only lose water.

      You lose some water weight when your glycogen burns off first week . But then there is no more water loss .
