You forgot the Cleveland Museum of Art, the largest and most press museum in the city, right next door to the, under remodeling, natural history museum. The CMA is truly the gem of the city. And, if the Cleveland Orchestra is performing, catching them at Severance Music Center is amazing, and the building is spectacular.
Yes! Josh, I've enjoyed your videos for years. So glad you came to Cleveland and Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Great ideas about Canton and Mansfield too, certainly worth the trip. Hope you get the chance to come back to Ohio again soon. Cheers! - John Pana
Nice video about my city!! Like others have said, Cleveland Museum of Art is a must see when visiting…it’s one of the best in the country. But it’s awesome that you highlighted Cleveland Public Library and Mitchell’s ice cream. 😁
Hey Josh! Love your videos! I've lived in the Cleveland suburbs all my life. you should have gone a to Whisky Island and Wendy Park while at Edgewater park. Also the old Coast Guard station is there as well. Also, Little Italy is a must while in Cleveland. Lots of great Italian food there. Also for day trips, nothing is bigger than Cedar Point Amusement park. And next time you're here, HMU and I will take you to Put-In-Bay. We can cruise around the island in a golf cart! Keep up the great work
Really surprised that you omitted the Cleveland Museum of Art. This world-class museum is located in a beautiful park on the east side, not far from President Garfield's tomb that you mentioned, as well as Symphony Hall, Case Western Reserve University (top-ranked school in Ohio and among the top research schools in the USA), and the Cleveland Clinic (ranked number 2 hospital in the entire world).
Great episode! You've really stoked my desire to visit Cleveland. One could easily spend a whole month there. So much of interest to do. Cleveland residents have quite a treasure in all those museums and fabulous architecture.
Great video. I was born and raised in northeast Ohio. As many have said, the Cleveland museum of Art, Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, Progressive field, and First Energy stadium. Also Cedar Point and the Lake Erie Islands are a little over an hour drive away.
You forgot: The Cleveland Museum of Art, Playhouse Square, Presti's (Little Italy), The Flatts, East 4th St. nightlife, 58th Floor of the Key Tower Building where you can see the entire city. Props for recognizing Slymans, and League Park though. Granted you cant see everything but there a few that are staples to Cleveland.
Cleveland has quite a lot to do, see and eat! I haven't tried Mables BBQ yet & the city has some really great BBQ restaurants. Edgewater Park is my favorite place to enjoy the outdoors & the Westside market is a favorite of mine to shop.
Thank you for pointing out so many places of diverse interests. I'm so very glad that you always include eateries. YUMMY Thanks again, Josh for another terrific video. 🏡🙏🏻👏🏻🎊☀️
One more thing - Trans-Siberian Orchestra the end of December, usually their last show of the tour. It's a holiday tradition for us. We've come from 5 hours away for several years.
That angel in the library looks straight out of that "Dr Who" episode of "Weeping Angels" Don't turn your back, don't look away and DON'T BLINK!" Did your knees go wobbly while around it? I know mine would, lol😮😵💫🤓
Liked this video. I find Cleveland to get a bad rap. Nice place to visit for a few days, good food, friendly people. Hope you enjoyed your stay as well.
BEER! Cleveland is a beer destination with some of the world’s best microbreweries. GLBC, Masthead, Saucy Brew Works, Fat Head’s, Market Garden… You can’t go to CLE and not have a few brews in one of the many brewpubs.
The Polish Diner is a 10 minute walk from my house, Parma has a lot of good eats. The whole Guardians/ Indians name issue is a fraught one, I get around it by calling them the Tribe.
Wrong Slymans in the video. Going to the "Tavern" locations will give people the WRONG impression. They are absolutely terrible. Recommending them is quite insulting. Only the downtown St. Clair location is the original and only one to visit for either breakfast or lunch.
in a city known for its authentic soul food, and you want to suggest (corporate) Mabel's?!? 😳 Whitmores BBQ (Kinsman or Harvard Rd locations) for those looking for the truth.
League Park was not the original home of The Guardians. League Park was the original home of The Indians, The Guardians NEVER played their or Municipal Stadium. Way to live up to the California P.C. stereotype........
Hello there stop it. I just left Cleveland Ohio yesterday. Originally from Youngstown, Ohio we now live in Tampa. Sent @califiorniathroughmylens a nice shout out from our female veterans girl trip to Napa Valley wine train, earlier this month. You gave us a lot of things to do while in San Francisco and Sonoma. Thank you!

Yeah I was a bit surprised by this miss. It's literally a world class museum
You left off one of my favorite things to do in Cleveland! The Cleveland Museum of Art is so well done and is free!
Yup. Did this as well, it was great.
yes i can’t believe he left that off
He did fine. He’s not from The Land. It’s all okay lol
He mentions the Cleveland Museum of Contemporary Art. Is that different? Has a giant hand sculpture out front?
It is different. The Cleveland Museum of Art has art from throughout the ages and a great collection of armor. The gardens behind it are nice too.
Yes! Josh, I've enjoyed your videos for years. So glad you came to Cleveland and Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Great ideas about Canton and Mansfield too, certainly worth the trip. Hope you get the chance to come back to Ohio again soon. Cheers! - John Pana
THE Gem of Cleveland -- Cleveland Museum of art !! One of Best in all of America and FREE . Glaring omission. Rest of video was great.
I knew nothing about Cleveland and was pleasantly surprised. Another interesting, well delivered video Josh, thank you!

Very well done video. There is a lot to see and do here. Always happy to see it noticed.

Until we moved to New England two years ago both my wife an I were Cleveland area residents for 70 Years. Great video, you did the city well. Thanks!

Happy Fathers Day Josh! Enjoyed this video very much!😊

Other must-sees, in addition to the Cleveland Museum of Art, are Little Italy and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
Looking forward to using your list for my next visit back to Cleveland Josh, thanks! And happy father's day to you!
Everything looks amazing! Specially the donuts!!! 🍩 😆🙌🏽 But I’m just here to wish you a very happy Father’s Day, Josh!
Looks like a great city to visit, thank you
Great video of Cleveland. I grew up there and really miss the wonderful park system there.
Okay! I asked you to do this 4 years ago! Heck yeah!
One more thing - Trans-Siberian Orchestra the end of December, usually their last show of the tour. It's a holiday tradition for us. We've come from 5 hours away for several years.
DONUTS!!!!!!!!!........Oh, by the way, Happy Father's Day, Josh. 😀
I lived in Cleveland a decade ago, and it is an amazing place to live. It is one of this nation’s best kept secrets! ❤❤
❤❤
That angel in the library looks straight out of that "Dr Who" episode of "Weeping Angels" Don't turn your back, don't look away and DON'T BLINK!" Did your knees go wobbly while around it? I know mine would, lol😮😵💫🤓
It makes me want to visit this city 😃
You did CLE proud. Thanks
You should really visit Michigan! Stop by Sleeping Bear Dunes and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore if you haven’t already :)
Your videos can never be too long! Never been to that part of OH but want to. Hey, when you were in AK did you try a fireweed doughnut?
You make every location an interesting location! What video editing software do you use?
Another place to check out is Lakeview Cemetery, resting place for President James Garfield, John D Rockefeller and Elliot Ness of the Untouchables.
good video!
I'm sad I didn't know you were going to be in town, I would have asked if you wanted to link up for a drink or something!
Cleveland rocks...Cleveland rocks...Cleveland rocks...0HI0!
Was that sculpture an homage to Thing from the Addams family?? Haha
I wondered the same thing! Hahaha (pun intended)
@@popshiking haha, happy fathers day!

Wow I could spend all day at that grocery store!!!!!
Welcome to town
Welcome to my hometown❤
That first picture looked like downtown Indy
I always have a good time when i go to Cleveland. It gets a bum rap!
CLEveland ROCKS!!!
I would definitely pay for a night at the Christmas Story house
Visit Cincinnati! The home of the Reds Bengals goetta and graeters ice cream❤
How about President James Garfield‘s home?
The Polish Diner is a 10 minute walk from my house, Parma has a lot of good eats. The whole Guardians/ Indians name issue is a fraught one, I get around it by calling them the Tribe.
Did you visit the McKinley monument in Canton and the BEST BBQ on earth at Kennedys!?!?!
How could you leave without visiting The Museum Of Science And Industry?? Ok. I forgive you 😂
Where is this "Museum of Science and Industy?" I think you have the wrong city, there is no museum named that in Cleveland, OH....
@@romien8wwr414 Maybe thinking of the famous museum with that name located in Chicago, Illinois.
The Cleveland Guardians never played a single game at League Park. You’re welcome.
I need to send this to Joakim Noah 😂
NHL can just have a brand-new professional hockey expansion team in Ohio to be Cleveland Hockey Club!🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🏟🏟🏟🏟🏟🏟🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒
👍👍

~Detroit resident
Got a Detroit video in the next few months too. We spent 48 hours exploring the city!
Fun video with lots to do and yummy food to try. If I’m ever in Cleveland I’ll know exactly where to go. Thank you.

All that's garbage i like big cities with things going on, besides the same bland things like ohio has to offer.
