Thanks for the preview. Looks incredibly detailed.
Thanks Andy, looking forward to the build. Take care and be safe as always
I wouldn’t spend these prices on kits but I definitely love seeing them. Just l Ike I can’t make every kit but love watching Andy build them.
Thank you ... that's the point of this one. We can still appreciate things we can't afford, I drool over things I can't afford all the time. Thanks for watching! - Andy
Loving it from Singapore! The reason why i like your channel so much is that you dont just do AFV that is why its so interesting! Keep it up!
Keep posting reviews and builds of these “out there” kits, Andy. They’re as much a part of the hobby as the “bargain bin” ones. Besides, isn’t cost relative? I haven’t actually modelled in many years, and while there are many reasons why, cost is one of them. That in no way takes away from the enjoyment of watching the vids and builds of yours and others on UA-cam. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing with us
Im so glad Pocher is back. I still have a Mercedes 500k, 1:8 scale. They make amazing stuff.
Amazing looking kit absolutely fantastic thanks for the video Andy Steve 🇬🇧
I remember hearing early pocher kits we're only recommended for highly experience modelers with some Machining skills, I'm looking forward to seeing the build on this Ducati👍
Wow, stunning looking kit. Love your videos Andy, keep ‘em coming 👍🏻🇦🇺
Have one on pre-order. Can't wait to get it now. Thanks for the preview.
Where did you buy it from?
I watch your videos for the sole reason that I can’t afford many kits, so I need to be absolutely sure before I buy it. Your videos are an absolute life saver. Keep up the great work!
That looks like very high quality. Thanks for sharing.
Cool vid Andy cant wait for the build videos on this
Looking forward to the Ducati build, thanks Andy.
Hope your well and safe Andy, keep up the great work.
Nice to see the intro back, beautiful bike in real life and the kit looks cool and is calling out for a lighting system, unfortunately having retired I cant afford it!
That is an amazing kit Andy, glad they are doing a lot better labeling parts now. The Rolls-Royce kit I have from the 70s has bags of multiple parts that have one part number, LOL and a one-page instruction sheet with an exploded view and a few paragraphs in Italian.
Put the tire in some hot water to soften up. I love pocher kits it's great that the company is some what still around. another great video Andy.
Add some teflon oil or grease to the rim just before pressing into hot rubber. If it still won't fit, freeze the rim before heating the rubber.
I use a little warmed water with liquid dish soap. Additionally, he can also put the tyres outside in that hot Arizona sun for 10 mins and it will soften the rubber up making it more pliable.
Those wheels and tires are nearly big enough to fit on a tire fitting machine!😉😀
Dont ever apologize for showing us great stuff. Yea, I cant afford it, but I'm glad to have just seen it and know it's out there
What an awesome kit! For mounting the tyres I use window cleaner as lubricant, that works pretty well with 1:1 scale machines.
Hi there! I appreciate the tip, I will try it out. Thanks for watching. Best - Andy
The red tube you thought was part of the frame looks like the paddock stand for the bike. An amazing kit but at £599.99 in the UK it's out of my league
I've bought real motorcycle for that much. Used but drivable.
Yeah, you could get the real bike for that price...
WOW that is not a weekend build, I will definitely enjoy this build 😃
Incredible kit
Perfect explanation at the start of your video , watch all your vids ..
Thank you for the insight! You don't need to explain yourself for showing expensive kits.
I am not enough into motor bikes that I would buy one of those kits, but I still appreciate the quality and details in it.
Gonna be a great build-enjoy.
AMAZING ANDY
LOVE these videos....right on
So cool!!!
What a beast!!!!!
Thanks Don! As always, I appreciate your kind words of encouragement. - Andy
Yeah, the intro's back. Hope you and your family are safe Andy. Stay safe.
If you put an RC engine in it, your cat can ride it. 😸
Great video. Must look great when finished! Only negative was when you took out the metal part and it made that squeek! It went straight to my spine! 😂
Just saw this video. These scale diecast models are very popular in the UK and beginning to make their mark in the U.S. Companies like Agora Models, IXO and Fanhome are examples of subscription build-up model companies that offer a pack of parts shipped per month over a 12-14-month period, that when you are done you've made a museum quality diecast model. A monthly subscription cost between $65 to $140 / month gives you a ~$1,700 highly detailed museum quality build with electrics, moving pars, lights and sound! I've personally have built 4 of these diecast models and they are high quality - and I'm in the process of building 3-4 more in the next couple of months.
awesome, absolutely fantastic !
Awesome video
I put a pre order on this a year ago. I get it next month. Can't wait.
Man I wish I could come down to your shop. Personally if I were there in person I would start hyperventilating from excitement. Love your channel, and please make more military model tanks and such. I’m sure we all love thise
Right on, I've wanted to see what Porcher kits are all about. Little out of my price range at the moment.
I had no idea models of this scale existed! Very cool :)
Yes way out of my price range, but I'd need to build a shed to put it in. Mighty impressive, thanks for sharing!
Wow something i can never possibly afford nor want but way cool kit.
Great stuff Andy, I agree in that it’s nice to see products that are out of your price range. As you say we all look at exotic cars so why not exotic kits.
So looking forward to this build! This is a temping kit but I’m saving up for a real bike. Lol. 🇨🇦
Looks like a great kit, I'd love to build it, and no painting. I do have a 1:4 kit, a Messerschmitt 109 instrument front panel, and actually I was surprised how small it was. The problem with this kit is where to put it. I already have a house full, with plenty yet to be built. Plus two Tamiya Tomcats coming tomorrow, and the Honda 1000 that you built the other week, on Saturday. I guess it would go on a window sill, without much fear of it getting knocked off, due to the weight. Can't wait to see you build it.
AMAZING ANDY.
Stunning kit, will be great to watch you build it so I don't have to 😁
Oh wow!!!!! It's a great time to be a modeler!!!!!!!!!!
Here is a hint for building the tires. Place the rubber tires in the warm sun light, this will relax and soften them. Place the rims in the freezer for a day, this will constrict the metal to were it should slid through the rubber tire easier. Have fun building this kit I built the F-44.
1:72 scale ... 1:35 scale ... 1:14 scale ... now 1:4 scale. Where's this going to end? With a 1:1 scale Battleship Yamato?
Well technically you can buy a kit for a house, so 1:1 is a thing.
Kure museum has 1:10 scale Yamato already.
10:1 scale :-P
Radio Control Yamamoto, nice.
1:1 Yamato, 5 city blocks long with 18 inch guns😁
Wow just Wow!
I have recently just finished building this amazing kit. It looks spectacular in person. The instructions could have been clearer and the paint finish on a couple of parts could have been better but overall it's great to have one.
Totally agree with your comments on the instructions.. building the latest ducati and facing the same issues.. but man.. its still pretty awesome
That's huge!
love video de la france merci andy s.
What a stunning kit. When you look at the price of some Lego kits, the price isn’t that ridiculous.
Pocher products - this one and the 1:8th Lambo's are showing as all Sold Out in the UK with the exception of the Lamborghini Huracan - LP 610-4 - Verde Mantis (metallic green)HK109. The Panigale is priced at £604.99. Which compared against D'Agonstini part builds is good value!! Clearly there has been high demand for these, even at these prices. Absolutely fantastic model!
It’s interesting that it comes prepainted my thinking being if you are building models at this price point you are pretty experienced.
Greatest Model Kit In History!
Imagine a 1996 Fatass SRAD?
Supply and Demand Already.
Great Review, i was getting worried at the start, thinking You gave Squat to anyone Who did not Love Our Intro?
Put the tire in hot water before mounting it. I'm excited to see that build.
Thanks for the tip! - Andy
I build armour models but would love this, I have a 1,16 trumpeter panther late tank but this will probally cost a lote more.😊
Best go cart wheels ever.
Awesome
Never knew that models were made in this scale. Awesome kit but I would love it more if the body wasn't already painted
love it
Great, real person review as always. It's pronounced 'poker" though.
Great video again Andy, what a superb kit. Are Porcher a part of Hornby, are they made in the U.K.? 👍🏻
I would absolutely love this kit. My biggest problem is that I have no where to put it once it's done...
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to slowly heat up the tires to fit the rims in. Or you can microwave them, just do short bursts of like 30 seconds at a time until soft enough to get the tires in. Heating them a little at a time won't distort them. Downside is that they also cool pretty quickly, so you have to get the rims in fast, or re-heat multiple times. Also may help to have a screwdriver handy, or other such tool/device, and use that to pry the tires onto the wheels (similar to how actual tire mounting goes).
or a bit of lube like the real life tire guys use maybe?
@@jamesvozar1 Or both. As with everything else, there is no one way to do it, it's all about what works for you and what you have available to use.
@@ILuvMsMarvel i agree
Dam it Andy, there goes my inheritance money !
1:4. Wow. That's the biggest scale I've seen. My ships are only 1:700 (except for Massachusetts, which is 1:350), and my two Lancasters are 1:72.
Its commonly 1/6 for big scale kits of motorcycle
I'm imagining a 1/4 scale tire mounting machine...
what skill level
Hell's teeth, that's really something, those tires are way to shiny though, rest of it looks incredible.
'Insane' scale, they should call it
GOrgEoUS kit
Very cool kit! And I hate seeing comments and downvotes on videos because the subject matter is out of their price range.
I need one
build it!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey @andy ... wiĺ you do any painting on this one? I just received mine and would love to follow your build as a guide.
That is MAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOSIVE 😳😮😲......does it come with fuel too???
i love your videos. I'm a novice scale model maker and need all the advice i can get. I'd Like to suggest that you do something to improve the audio quality of your videos. It sounds like you are using the mike built into your camera, but the camera is too far away to get good voice recording. Check out a different mike system.
Put the tires in the sun to soften them up
As big as that bike is, you could almost ride it!
Wonder if Akrapovic would make a scale exhaust to fit the kit?
u might need to put the back wheel in hot water to soften it.
Awesome tip! Thank you - Andy
Not so much a kit as a piece of engineering! Can't wait to wtch you build it - and then weather it! ;-)
Hi Andy love your work, I'm currently building one of these beast's in regards to fitting the tyres a you tube video I found said to put them in a water bath at around 40 degrees/ 104 fahrenheit for about 5 mins or so or until soft, hope this helps.
Oh yes it does thank you
Heat the tire, freeze the rim
👍
Just courious about how weight is the models if it already finished
Have to admit that when I first saw the box, I thought it was going to be a radio controlled bike.
My wife thought it was a mini pocket rocket street bike when she saw the box!
Andy's Hobby Headquarters that would be fun. And probably be a good seller
@Andy - Leave the tire out in the sun for a while before you go to mount it will soften up the rubber, can also use some windex to help it slide on.
Thanks for the tip! - Andy
Existem outros modelos semelhantes?? Qual o preço nos EUA ??Enviam pro Brasil ??
Yea well clearly these are not out of the budget of enough because if you go to the Pocher website they are sold out of just about everything they offer! Makes me wonder why they even bother having a website?
They might have really low production runs on these, given how few they might actually sell.
I'm just curious how much does the Ducati bike and the Volvo truck retail cost?
Do the shocks work
🤤
Just over half a metre in length. $1069 AUS dollars.... aaah! what the hell I'm in lockdown so it will keep me busy.
WOW! Soapy water on the inside bead of the tires should help get them mounted on their rims. Looks like you'll need to rent a large garage to get this built!
Just an awesome kit build, what price are they retailing at?
An arm and a leg lol
@@doublenickelbob or both 🤣🤣
Those some soap and water on it and I will go right on
Whats the retail on that in your store Andy?, nice these kits , but just like the Volvo its all dreamland, just get back to the 50 dollar kits , we can buy
My brain can't process all of those parts.
